In a conventional image forming apparatus, generally, a setting screen having a hierarchical structure is provided, and when various settings of a print job are performed through an operation panel of the image forming apparatus, a user needs to go through the hierarchical structure layer by layer until the setting screen of a setting item desired by the user is opened, and then set a value of the corresponding setting item (for example, japanese patent application laid-open No. 2014-69536).

Disclosure of Invention

Example 1
Embodiment 1 of the present invention provides an information processing apparatus. Fig. 1 is a schematic configuration diagram of an information processing apparatus according to an embodiment of the present invention. As shown in fig. 1, the information processing apparatus includes:
a storage unit 101 for storing a search target object and a search keyword associated with the search target object;
an input unit 102 for receiving an input of a search keyword;
a search unit 103 for extracting a search target object associated with the search keyword received by the input unit 102; and

In this embodiment, when the retrieval unit 103 extracts the retrieval target object, the retrieval keywords input through the input unit 102 and the retrieval keywords stored in the storage unit 101 may be matched one by one using a search algorithm (e.g., hash table search, sequential search, binary search, etc.) in the prior art to obtain the same or similar retrieval keywords, so as to extract the retrieval target object corresponding to the same or similar retrieval keywords.
In one embodiment, the storage unit 101 may store information indicating the degree of association between the search target object and the search keyword, so that the search unit 103 extracts the search target object having a high degree of association with the keyword received and input by the input unit 102 based on the information indicating the degree of association, thereby improving the search efficiency. The association degree may be preset by the user, for example, information indicating the association degree by a positive integer, where a larger positive integer indicates a larger association degree between the search target object and the search keyword, and vice versa.

In one embodiment, the search target objects having a high degree of association with the keywords may be displayed in the front of the list and the search target objects having a low degree of association with the keywords may be displayed in the rear of the list in order based on the information indicating the degree of association as described above, or vice versa, for the convenience of the user's operation.
