BESCHREIBUNG
DESCRIPTION
The present invention relates to a device for removing the sand from castings, which castings are exposed to the impact frequency of a hydraulic or pneumatic impact piston system.
With the increasing complexity of castings such as engine blocks, cylinder heads and the like. The like also increases the problem of removing and removing the hard-burned core sand from these cast pieces after the casting has been completed, which can no longer be achieved satisfactorily with the known devices for this purpose.
A device of this type by the same applicant already allows a significant improvement in that a pneumatic hammer or the like is used as a vibrator, which is supported on a frame by means of a shock-absorbing and vibration-absorbing intermediate layer, the hammer tip of the pneumatic hammer with a , form a clamping unit for the cast piece on the frame via a further shock and vibration-damping intermediate layer supported; but here too it is not always possible to completely remove the core sand, even from undercuts and the smallest bores on the cast piece, which requires costly reworking.
Another major disadvantage is that even the smallest cast parts have to be treated piece by piece.
The object of the present invention is therefore to provide a device for core sand removal, which allows both the processing of individual large cast pieces and the processing of many small cast pieces at the same time and which is capable of removing any core sand from and from any cast - Remove piece completely and quickly.
This is first achieved according to the invention in that the percussion piston system is arranged in a stationary manner and the free end of its percussion piston is firmly connected to a clamping plate which is supported on a stationary frame and is capable of oscillating, in order to clamp the cast pieces.
This makes it possible to control the high-performance vibrations of the
Percussion piston system lossless to the clamping plate forming a vibration unit with the Schlagkol ben and thus also directly and losslessly transferred to the cast pieces clamped on the plate. This will make the
Kernsand now in seconds from the smallest and most convoluted channels u. vibrated out like.
For optimal support of the clamping plate, it is advantageous if the oscillating support of the
Clamping plate on the frame, in both directions of vibration damping effective compression springs.
For a quick fastening of any cast pieces on the clamping plate, it is also advantageous if the clamping plate is a grooved plate.
Here it can also be advantageous for a rational
Handling when the stationary frame is designed as a carousel.
In order to be able to remove the core sand even more effectively on the one hand, and on the other hand to take into account the stricter conditions for air pollution control, it is advantageous if a suction system with at least one outlet on the relevant cast piece opens out over the clamping plate
Suction pipe for suction of the core sand is arranged.
In addition, it is environmentally friendly if a sound-absorbing housing that surrounds everything is provided.
An exemplary embodiment of the subject matter of the invention is explained in more detail below with reference to the drawing, which shows the device for removing core sand in a partially diagrammatic representation.
The stationary device shown for removing the core sand from here a cast piece 1 comprises a fixed frame 2 on which a, here rectangular, clamping plate 6 for clamping the cast piece 1 is supported in an oscillatory manner.
The free end of a percussion piston 4 of a percussion piston system 5 is preferably connected centrally and from below to the clamping plate 6. The percussion piston system is supported firmly on the frame 2 and preferably projects vertically upward with its percussion piston 4.
Of course, an arrangement of the percussion piston system above the clamping plate 6 is also conceivable, as is an inclined position of the percussion piston to the plane of the plate.
The percussion piston system 5 can be a conventional hydraulic hammer or a pneumatically operated arrangement.
The support plate 6 on the frame 2 can be supported in an oscillatory manner by means of compression springs 15 and 16 which act in both oscillating directions, of which a plurality are distributed over the circumference of the plate 6 and are guided by corresponding bolts 13. Each bolt 13 penetrates the upper bearing frame of the frame 2 and carries on its underside a flange 14 which supports the lower spring 16 in each case. This results in a relatively simple but effective oscillatory support of the clamping plate 6 on the frame 2.
The clamping plate 6 is preferably a so-called groove plate with a plurality of guide grooves 30 for receiving screw bolts for arbitrarily clamping one or more cast pieces.
The entire device is preferably surrounded by a walk-in housing chamber 23.
A suction system 20 with at least one suction pipe 21 opening out at the relevant casting 1 is arranged preferably within the housing chamber 23 and above the clamping plate 6 for suctioning off the core sand.
High-pressure suction systems for point suction are particularly suitable for the suction of the debris sand, with which the core sand can be detected and extracted close to the core sand source with a relatively high rate of disturbance. Such suction devices work with high negative pressure and small amounts of air and thus allow the use of small pipe cross sections and light, highly flexible suction hoses. This allows many suction hoses to be provided on the suction system in order to attach them to the extreme openings of the cast pieces to be cored.
The foregoing thus results in a device for removing core sand which, despite its relatively simple design, can meet all the requirements.
Of course, a number of modifications are possible without departing from the inventive concept.
In particular, the whole can be designed as a carousel in order to facilitate loading or unloading of the device. Furthermore, the clamping plate can be round or polygonal in shape and / or exchangeable. Furthermore, other catching, suction and channel means for the core sand removal are conceivable.
