Abstract

Technique pour l'affichage des bandeaux publicitaires dans un environnement de consultation de documents électroniques tel que le World Wide Web. La technique est mise en oeuvre dans un applet intégré au fichier d'une page Web comportant une publicité dont la taille est variable et peut croître, par exemple, lorsque l'utilisateur montre un intérêt pour la publicité en question. Avec l'agrandissement dynamique et le changement de la taille d'une publicité en fonction de l'interaction de l'utilisateur, la publicité devient plus efficace sans être dérangeante pour les consommateurs ou la disposition de la page Web sous-jacente voulue par l'éditeur.
