The transmission system allows additional digital information for teleshopping or telebanking services to be transmitted to customers together with a radio service. The digital information for the teleshopping or telebanking services is provided at a studio, with structured combining of the information for a number of services in dependence on logical and physical criteria, before transmission to the customers. The received information is temporarily stored upon reception after initial filtering for extracting the required service information, for subsequent customer selection.
