Description

Description: The invention relates to an arrangement with a rolling body or cushion and a bearing device with the features of the preamble of claim 1.

A generic rolling body is apparent from US 6,499,485 B1. Such rolling elements are used for the therapeutic treatment of hardened structures in muscle tissue and adhesions of fascia by rolling the body part to be treated over the roller. It has been found that such a treatment is particularly efficient if heat is applied to the body region to be treated by the rolling body. For this purpose, as in the above-mentioned document, a rotationally symmetrical base body is equipped with a heat or cold storage device on its circumference. This is held on the rotationally symmetrical base body by an enveloping protective skin. The heat or cold storage can be designed as a gel. The gel can be heated by a microwave. However, it is disadvantageous that an exact temperature control of the surface is difficult and it is also not possible to guarantee a constant temperature, since it is difficult to estimate which final temperature actually results when the gel is heated by the microwave. During the subsequent treatment with the roller body, the roller cools down relatively quickly, making long-term treatment at a constant temperature impossible.

The object of the invention is to provide a generic rolling body or cushion with which a better treatment of structural hardening and gluing is made possible.

This object is achieved by an arrangement with a rolling body or a pillow and a bearing device with the features of claim 1. Advantageous embodiments of the invention are defined in the dependent claims.

The provision of a rolling body or a pillow with a core and a cover releasably arranged around the core makes it possible to arrange an electrical temperature control device in the cover and an accumulator (in short: accumulator) in the core. Alternatively, it can also be provided that an electrical temperature control device is arranged in the core and a battery in the cover. Such configurations according to the invention ensure, in a simple and efficient manner, that a battery can be quickly and easily detached and replaced by the electrical temperature control device, so that - if the battery reaches an energy level that is too low during treatment - it is removed and by a fully charged battery can be replaced and treatment can be continued. The electrical temperature control device can be designed to temperature control the rolling body or the cushion with a uniform temperature, or different temperature control zones can be provided. Protection is sought for an arrangement with a rolling body or a pillow according to at least one of the previously described embodiments and a storage device on which the rolling body or the pillow is mounted on a roll. With such an arrangement it can be provided that the bearing device has an adjusting device for adjusting the position of the rolling body or the cushion or a plurality of different bearing positions.

Figure 1 shows a first embodiment of a rolling body or pillow 1.
