Abstract

The centralised remote control system is intended to compensate for the effects of attenuation of the signal. It includes a compensation circuit (25) receiving a signal representative of the level of the remote control on the network, and generating a compensation signal. A harmonic compensation circuit (26) receives a signal representative of one or more harmonic components on the network and generates a compensation signal. A summing circuit (24) adds together the two compensation signals to prepare a control signal, whilst an injection circuit (22) comprising a source of energy (22) injects the compensated signal on to the network. The system further includes an oscillator bridge (21) and a coupling circuit (16) connected to the network.
