Abstract

POSTUPAK ZA PREČIŠĆAVANJE KARBOKSILNIH KISELINA. Karboksilne kiseline koje su proizvedene karbonilovanjem i koje imaju jodidne i oksidujuće nečistoće prečišćavaju se kontaktiranjem sa vodonik-peroksidom i regenerisanjem prečišćene kiseline destilacijom ili isparavanjem. Poželjno se kao katalizator koristi neka takva jaka kiselina kao što je sumporna kiselina. Kontaminacija proizvoda sa sumporom iz sumporne kiseline i sa viškom vodonik-peroksida može se smanjiti korišćenjem metalnih soli u fazi regenerisanja.PROCESS FOR PURIFICATION OF CARBOXYLIC ACIDS. Carboxylic acids produced by carbonylation and having iodide and oxidizing impurities are purified by contacting with hydrogen peroxide and regeneration of the purified acid by distillation or evaporation. Preferably, a strong acid such as sulfuric acid is used as the catalyst. Contamination of products with sulfuric acid sulfur and excess hydrogen peroxide can be reduced by using metal salts in the regeneration phase.
