Abstract
Procedure for synthesis of stable aqueous colloidal dispersion (sol) of aluminum oxide comprises from peptization of aluminum hydroxide, obtained by precipitation of solution of salts of aluminum (aluminum chlorides, or aluminum nitrates or aluminum sulfates) by means of ammonia solution, by means of nitrites at the temperatures from 100° up to 180°C. Stable aqueous colloidal dispersion (sol) of aluminum oxide obtained by described invention finds application in the production of adsorbents, catalysts, microelectronics, ceramic and apyrous products, moulds for casting, special glasses and films, coatings, etc.
