Gornja spojina s formulo (II) je nova in jo lahko pripravimo z aciliranjem L-prolina z reaktivnim acilirnim derivatom (2S)-2-metil-3-rodanidopropionske kisline s formulo (III) Postopek v smislu izuma omogoča pripravo spojine s formulo (I) na preprost način z veliko čistoto in dobrimi celokupnimi dobitki.
