본 발명의 일 실시예에 따른 멤스 마이크로폰은 기판, 기판 상에 배치되는 멤스 구조체, 기판 상에 배치되고, 멤스 구조체의 신호를 처리하는 신호처리소자, 및 신호처리소자의 내부에 배치되어, 신호처리소자의 전원부와 전기적으로 연결되는 수동소자부를 포함한다.

Description

멤스 마이크로폰
본 발명은 멤스 마이크로폰에 관한 것으로, 보다 구체적으로 RF 노이즈 안정화 구조를 가지는 멤스 마이크로폰에 관한 발명이다.
일반적으로 음향기기는 전극을 이용하여 진동판을 진동시켜 소리를 발생시키는 것으로서, 최근의 기술개발과 더불어 음향기기 분야에서도 큰 발전이 이루어지고 있다. 이러한 음향 기기들은, 휴대용 단말기, 보청기 등과 같이 사용되는 분야도 다양해지고 있으며, 음향기기가 적용되는 장치들이 슬림화됨에 따라 음향기기 자체의 크기도 수형화가 이루어지고 있다.
또한, 최근에는 반도체 기술인 멤스(MEMS: Micro Electro Mechanical Systems)를 이용한 마이크로 폰(Micro Phone)이 개발되어 사용되고 있다. 멤스는 실리콘 웨이퍼의 표면에서 작은 기계적 컴포넌트의 제조를 가능하게 하는 기술이다. 이러한 멤스 마이크로폰은 정전 방식과 압전 방식으로 구분될 수 있으며, 여기에 일반적인 콘덴서 타입을 포함한다.
멤스 마이크로폰은 무선 이어폰(TWS, True Wireless Stereo), 스마트폰 등의 환경에서 사용되며, 장치 내부 또는 외부의 RF 노이즈에 의한 영향을 받는다. RF 노이즈는 ASIC의 전원 라인을 타고 들어와 멤스 마이크로폰의 성능 열화 시킨다. 이러한 RF 노이즈의 영향을 개선을 위한 구조가 필요하다.
본 발명이 해결하고자 하는 기술적 과제는, RF 노이즈 안정화 구조를 가지는 멤스 마이크로폰을 제공하는 것이다.
상기 기술적 과제를 해결하기 위하여, 본 발명의 일 실시예에 따른 멤스 마이크로폰은 기판; 기판 상에 배치되는 멤스 구조체; 상기 기판 상에 배치되고, 상기 멤스 구조체의 신호를 처리하는 신호처리소자; 및 상기 신호처리소자의 내부에 배치되어, 상기 신호처리소자의 전원부와 전기적으로 연결되는 수동소자부를 포함한다.
또한, 상기 수동소자부는 가변 커패시터를 포함할 수 있다.
또한, 상기 수동소자부는, 병렬로 연결되는 복수의 커패시터; 및 상기 복수의 커패시터와 각각 직렬로 연결되는 복수의 스위치를 포함할 수 있다.
또한, 상기 신호처리소자는, 상기 신호처리소자에 인가되는 RF 노이즈의 주파수에 대응하여 상기 복수의 스위치 각각을 온오프하는 할 수 있다.
또한, 상기 수동소자부는, MIM (Metal-Insulator-Metal) 커패시터, MOM (Metal-Oxide-Metal) 커패시터, 및 딥 트렌치 커패시터 중 적어도 하나를 포함할 수 있다.
또한, 상기 신호처리소자의 전원부는, 외부전원이 입력되는 외부전원 입력부와 상기 기판을 통해 전기적으로 연결될 수 있다.
또한, 상기 기판 상에 배치되고, 상기 외부전원 입력부와 전기적으로 연결되는 제2 수동소자부를 포함하고, 상기 신호처리소자 내부에 배치되는 수동소자부와 상기 제2 수동소자부는 용량이 상이할 수 있다.
또한, 상기 신호처리소자 내부에 배치되는 수동소자부는 10 내지 1000 pF 커패시턴스 값을 가지고, 상기 제2 수동소자부는 100 nF 내지 10 uF 커패시턴스 값을 가질 수 있다.
또한, 상기 기판 내부에 배치되고, 상기 외부전원 입력부와 전기적으로 연결되는 제3 수동소자부를 포함하고, 상기 신호처리소자 내부에 배치되는 수동소자부와 상기 제3 수동소자부는 용량이 상이할 수 있다.
또한, 상기 신호처리소자의 전원부는 복수의 전원부를 포함하고, 상기 수동소자부는, 상기 복수의 전원부 각각에 전기적으로 연결되는 복수의 수동소자부를 포함할 수 있다.
또한, 상기 수동소자부는, 상기 신호처리소자의 밴드갭 기준전압 생성부의 전단에 연결될 수 있다.
또한, 상기 수동소자부는, 상기 신호처리소자의 전원부와 상기 신호처리소자의 밴드갭 기준전압 생성부 사이에 연결될 수 있다.
본 발명의 실시예들에 따르면, RF 노이즈 안정화 구조를 ASIC 내부에 구현할 수 있다. 일반 기판을 이용함으로써 공정 자유도를 높일 수 있다. 또한, 복수의 커패시터 실장이 가능하여 복수의 노이즈 제거 기능을 구현할 수 있다.

다만, 본 발명의 기술 사상은 설명되는 일부 실시 예에 한정되는 것이 아니라 서로 다른 다양한 형태로 구현될 수 있고, 본 발명의 기술 사상 범위 내에서라면, 실시 예들간 그 구성 요소들 중 하나 이상을 선택적으로 결합 또는 치환하여 사용할 수 있다.
또한, 본 발명의 실시예에서 사용되는 용어(기술 및 과학적 용어를 포함)는, 명백하게 특별히 정의되어 기술되지 않는 한, 본 발명이 속하는 기술분야에서 통상의 지식을 가진 자에게 일반적으로 이해될 수 있는 의미로 해석될 수 있으며, 사전에 정의된 용어와 같이 일반적으로 사용되는 용어들은 관련 기술의 문맥상의 의미를 고려하여 그 의미를 해석할 수 있을 것이다.

본 발명의 실시예에 따른 멤스 마이크로폰(100)은 기판(110), 신호처리소자(120), 수동소자부(121), 멤스 구조체(130)로 구성되고, 제2 수동소자부(111), 제3 수동소자부(112)를 포함할 수 있다.
기판(110)은 멤스 마이크로폰(100)의 하부에 배치되고, 판(plate) 형상을 가진다. 기판(110)은 인쇄회로기판(PCB)일 수 있고, 플렉서블 인쇄회로기판(FPCB) 또는 COF(Chip on Film) 기판을 포함할 수 있다. COF(Chip on Film) 기판은 베이스 필름 상에 회로를 형성하거나 칩 등 소자를 실장하여 형성되는 기판으로, 필름 형상을 가지고 있어, 두께가 다른 기판에 비해 상당히 얇은 기판이다. 멤스 마이크로폰의 기판으로 COF 기판을 이용함으로써 두께를 상당히 줄일 수 있다. 기판(110)은 COF 기판으로, 2metal COF 기판일 수 있다. 2metal COF는 베이스 필름의 양면에 회로 형성하거나 소자를 실장하여 형성되는 기판이다. 베이스 필름에 비아 홀을 포함하여, 양면에 형성되는 회로 또는 소자를 연결할 수 있다. 여기서, 비아 홀은 마이크로 비아 홀일 수 있고, 25 um 이하의 사이즈로 구성될 수 있다. 단면 COF에 비해 집적도를 높일 수 있고, 패키징시 자유도가 향상되고, 양면에 회로 또는 소자를 배치함으로써 fine pitch 가 가능하다. 리지드 기판만을 이용하는 경우, fine pitch 적용이 쉽지 않으나, COF 기판을 이용시, Fine Pitch 적용이 가능한바, 멤스 마이크로폰 패키지의 사이즈를 50% 이상 축소가 가능하다.
COF 기판을 포함하는 경우, COF 기판 상에 적층되는 리지드(rigid) 기판을 더 포함할 수 있다. 리지드 기판은 메탈 플레이트(Metal plate), 서스(sus) 또는 보강판일 수 있다. 서스(sus)는 내식성을 강화하기 위해 철에 크롬을 섞은 강종으로, 고강도 기판이다. 이외에 금속 재질의 다양한 보강판을 이용할 수 있다. 이외에 하우징과 결합되어 쉴드를 유지할 수 있는 다른 종류의 강성 기판을 포함할 수 있다.
플렉서블 인쇄회로기판(FPCB)는 연성회로기판으로, 이 역시 유연하며, 일반 인쇄회로기판에 비해 두께가 얇아 멤스 마이크로폰의 기판으로 플렉서블 인쇄회로기판을 이용함으로써 두께를 상당히 줄일 수 있다. 이외에 다른 종류의 유연한 기판을 포함할 수 있다.
기판(110) 상부에는 내부공간을 형성하는 하우징(140)이 배치될 수 있다. 도 2와 같이, 하우징(140)은 멤스 마이크로폰의 상부에 배치되고, 기판(110)을 덮는 덮개 형상을 가질 수 있다. 하우징(140)은 금속재질을 가지는 캔(can) 타입일 수 있고, 플라스틱 등 다양한 소재로 형성될 수 있다. 하우징(140)은 기판(110)과 결합될 수 있다. 이때, 하우징(140)과 기판(110)은 용접으로 접합될 수 있다. 하우징(140)과 기판(110)이 접합하는 영역은 마이크로 용접으로 접합될 수 있다. 마이크로 용접으로 하우징(140)과 기판(110)을 접합시킴으로써 캔 솔더(Can solder) 또는 에폭시를 도포하여 경화시키는 과정이 불필요하고, 캔 솔더 라인 또는 에폭시 도포 영역 또한 불필요한바, 해당 면적만큼 사이즈를 줄일 수 있다.
기판(110) 상에는 신호처리소자(120) 및 멤스 구조체(130) 배치될 수 있다. 멤스 구조체(130)는 도 2와 같이, 기판(110)과 하우징(140)이 형성하는 내부 공간 내에 배치될 수 있다. 멤스 구조체(130)는 바디, 백플레이트, 및 진동판을 포함한다. 기판(110) 에는 멤스 구조체(130)의 하부에 대향하는 위치에 홀이 형성될 수 있다. 기판(110)에 형성되는 홀의 단면적은 원형일 수 있으나, 이에 한정되는 것은 아니다. 여기서, 홀은 음향 홀일 수 있다. 홀은 상기 멤스 구조체(130) 상부에 대향하는 하우징(140) 영역에 형성될 수도 있다.
기판(110) 또는 하우징(140)에 홀이 형성되고, 홀을 통해 외부로부터 유입되는 음향에 따른 음압에 의해 진동판이 진동하면, 백 플레이트에서의 커패시턴스를 측정하여 음향신호를 센싱할 수 있다. 도 2에서, 백 플레이트가 진동판 상부에 위치하는 것으로 도시되어 있으나, 진동판이 백 플레이트 상부에 위치할 수도 있음은 당연하다.
멤스 구조체(130)에서 센싱된 신호는 신호처리소자(120)로 전달된다. 멤스 구조체(130)와 신호처리소자(120)는 전기적으로 연결될 수 있다. 이때, 멤스 구조체(130)와 신호처리소자(120)는 와이어 본딩을 통해 와이어로 연결되고, 와이어를 통해 멤스 구조체(130)에서 센싱된 신호는 신호처리소자(120)로 전달될 수 있다.
신호처리소자(120)는 멤스 구조체(130)에서 센싱되어 전달된 전기 신호를 처리할 수 있다. 신호처리소자(120)는 멤스 구조체(130)에서 센싱되는 신호를 증폭할 수 있다. 여기서, 신호처리소자(120)는 주문형 반도체 집적 회로(Application-Specific Integrated Circuit, ASIC)을 포함할 수 있으나, 이에 한정되는 것은 아니다. 신호처리소자(120)는 하나의 모듈로 형성될 수 있고, 칩 형태로 형성될 수 있다. 신호처리소자(120)는 ASIC 및 ASIC을 도포하는 En-cap을 포함할 수 있다.
신호처리소자(120)는 기판(110) 상에 배치될 수 있다. 이때, 신호처리소자(120)는 멤스 구조체(130)와 이격되어 기판(110) 상에 배치될 수 있다. 기판(110)과 하우징(140)이 형성하는 내부 공간에 멤스 구조체(130)와 함께 배치되어, 멤스 구조체(130)로부터 신호를 전달받을 수 있다. 하우징(140)으로 덮혀 있는 내부 공간에서 멤스 구조체(130)와 신호처리소자(120) 간 신호 전달이 이루어지는바, 노이즈를 줄일 수 있다.
신호처리소자(120)는 기판(110)과 연결되어 전원을 공급받을 수 있다. 신호처리소자(120)의 전원부(122)는 기판(110)을 통해 전원을 입력받을 수 있다. 신호처리소자(120)는 입력받은 전원을 통해 구동되고, 멤스 구조체(130)에 바이어스 전원을 공급할 수 있다. 신호처리소자(120)는 기판(110)과 와이어 본딩으로 연결되거나, 플립칩(flip chip) 방식으로 플립칩 BGA을 형성하여 기판(110)과 접합되거나, BGA 방식으로 기판(110)의 와이어 패드와 전기적으로 연결될 수 있다.
수동소자부(121)는 신호처리소자(120)의 내부에 배치되어, 신호처리소자(120)의 전원부(122)와 전기적으로 연결된다. 신호처리소자(120)는 전원을 공급받을 때, 전원라인을 따라 RF 노이즈가 함께 입력되어 신호처리 성능을 열화시킬 수 있다. 도 3과 같이, 수동소자부(121)는 신호처리소자(120)의 내부에 배치되어 전원부(122)와 연결되어, 전원부(122)로 인가되는 RF 노이즈를 저감할 수 있다. 여기서, 수동소자부(121)는 커패시터를 포함할 수 있다. 커패시터는 전원부(122)를 통해 인가되는 RF 노이즈를 포함하는 전류를 저장하여 RF 노이즈를 저감하고, RF 노이즈가 저감된 신호를 신호처리소자(120) 내부로 인가되도록 할 수 있다.
수동소자부(121)는 커패시터를 포함하여, 신호대잡음비(SNR, Signal-to-Noise Ratio)가 개선되고, PSRR(Power Supply Rejection Ratio) 및 PSR(Power Supply Rejection) 노이즈도 개선될 수 있다. 여기서, PSRR은 전원에 인가된 노이즈(사인파)의 출력단자에서의 신호비를 나타내는 것으로, 주파수별 전원잡음 영향을 파악할 수 있다. PSR은 GSM(Global System for Mobile Communications)과 같은 TDMA(Time Division Multiple Access) 디지털변조방식의 통신회로를 사용할 경우 전원에 유기되는 펄스잡음에 대한 출력단자에서의 억제정도를 의미한다. 즉, 커패시터(150)를 통해, SNR, PSRR, PSR 등 Noise 관련 성능을 개선할 수 있다. 또한, 신호처리소자(120)에서 신호를 처리함에 있어서, 발생할 수 있는 노이즈를 제거할 수 있다.
전원 안정화 및 RF(Radio Frequency) 노이즈 저감을 위한 커패시터는 멤스 마이크로폰 외부 PCB 기판에 실장되거나, 무선이어폰(TWS)의 경우 소형화로 인한 외부 PCB 실장 공간 제약으로 인해 멤스 마이크로폰 내부에 커패시터를 구현할 수 있다. 이때, 멤스 마이크로폰의 기판 내부에 ECM(Embedded Capacitance Material)을 적층하여 바이패스 커패시터(Bypass Capacitor)를 구현할 수 있다. ECM 기판의 경우 특수 공정으로 인한 기판 난이도 증가와 단가 상승이 발생할 수 있다.
본 발명의 실시예에 따른 수동소자부(121)는 기판(110)이 아닌 신호처리소자(120) 내부에 배치되어, RF 노이즈 저감을 위한 커패시턴스(Capacitance)를 구현할 수 있다.
수동소자부(121)는 가변 커패시터를 포함할 수 있다. 수동소자부(121)는 커패시터를 포함하되, 저감하고자 하는 RF 신호의 주파수에 따라 커패시터의 용량이 달라지는바, 가변 커패시터를 포함하여 넓은 범위의 RF 노이즈를 저감할 수 있다.
수동소자부(121)는 복수의 커패시터 및 복수의 스위치를 포함할 수 있다. 복수의 커패시터는 병렬로 연결되고, 복수의 스위치 각각은 복수의 커패시터와 각각 직렬로 연결될 수 있다. 각 스위치의 온오프에 따라 연결되는 커패시터의 수가 달라지는바, 커패시터의 용량을 가변할 수 있다. 신호처리소자(120)가 적용되는 멤스 마이크로폰(100) 또는 신호처리소자(120)에 인가되는 RF 노이즈의 주파수에 연결되는 커패시터의 수를 설정할 수 있다. 신호처리소자(120)에 인가되는 RF 노이즈의 주파수에 대응하여 복수의 스위치 각각을 온오프할 수 있다. 또는, 프로세서에 의해 온오프되는 커패시터의 수가 변경될 수 있다.
복수의 커패시터는 동일한 용량을 가지는 커패시터일 수 있다. 또는, 복수의 커패시터 중 적어도 하나의 커패시터는 다른 커패시터와 용량이 상이할 수 있다. 이를 통해, 제거하고자 하는 RF 노이즈 주파수 대역에 따라 다양한 크기의 커패시터 용량을 구현할 수 있다.
수동소자부(121)의 커패시터는 MIM(Metal-Insulator-Metal) 커패시터, MOM(Metal-Oxide-Metal) 커패시터, 및 딥 트렌치 커패시터 중 적어도 하나를 포함할 수 있다. MIM(Metal-Insulator-Metal) 커패시터는 금속-절연체-금속의 구조를 가지고, 금속 두개의 상하부 전극과 그 사이에 절연체가 위치하는 구조이다. 이때, 전극은 복수의 층으로 구성되어, 복수의 층마다 금속-절연체-금속 구조를 형성할 수 있다. MOM(Metal-Oxide-Metal) 커패시터는 급속-산화물층-금속의 구조를 가지고, 금속 두개의 상하부 전극과 그 사이에 산화물(예를 들어 SiO2)가 위치하여 절연체 역할을 하는 구조이다. 딥 트렌치 커패시터는 기판에 깊은 홈을 파서 만드는 커패시터로, 깊은 홈에 의해 생성되는 전극을 통해 커패시터를 구현할 수 있다. 수동소자부(121)는 이외 다양한 종류와 형태를 가지는 커패시터를 포함할 수 있다. 이외, RF 노이즈를 저감할 수 있는 소자들을 포함할 수 있다.
RF 저감을 위한 구성을 기판(110)이 아닌 신호처리소자(120) 내부에 배치되는 수동소자부(121)로 구현하는 경우, 신호처리소자(120)의 면적이 커질 수 있으나, 기판(110) 상에 배치하거나 기판(110) 내부에 내장하는 경우에 비해 설계 자유도를 높일 수 있다. RF 노이즈를 저감하기 위한 커패시터를 기판(110) 상에 배치하는 경우, 하우징(140) 내부공간을 충분히 확보하기 어려울 수 있다. 하우징(140) 내부공간은 멤스 구조체의 음향성능에 영향을 미치는바, 내부공간을 충분이 확보하지 못함으로 인해 성능이 열화될 수 있다. RF 노이즈를 저감하기 위한 커패시터를 기판(110) 내부에 내장하는 경우, 기판(110)을 제작하는 비용이 증가하고, ECM기판을 이용해야 하는 제약이 있어, 공정 자유도가 떨어질 수 있다.
RF 저감을 위한 구성을 기판(110)이 아닌 신호처리소자(120) 내부에 배치되는 수동소자부(121)로 구현하는 경우, 도 4와 같이, 신호처리소자(120)의 약간의 면적의 증가만으로 RF 저감효과를 구현할 수 있어, 하우징(140) 내부공간을 충분히 확보할 수 있고, 일반 기판을 이용할 수 있어, 공정 자유도를 향상시킬 수 있다. 예를 들어, 100 pF 커패시턴스를 적용하고, 단위 면적당 커패시턴스 1fF/um^2를 기준으로 수동소자부(121)가 내부에 배치되지 않는 경우의 신호처리소자(120)의 사이즈는 1.0 mm(A) x 1.3 mm(B)에서 수동소자부(121)가 내부에 배치되는 경우의 신호처리소자(120)의 사이즈는 1.0 mm(A) x 1.4 mm(B') 증가할 수 있다.
수동소자부(121)는 신호처리소자(120)의 전원부(122)의 후단에 연결될 수 있다. 도 3과 같이, 전원부(122)의 후단에 바로 연결되어 전원부(122)를 통해 인가되는 RF 노이즈를 저감할 수 있다.
또한, 수동소자부(121)는 신호처리소자(120)의 밴드갭 기준전압 생성부(123)의 전단에 연결될 수 있다. 수동소자부(121)는 신호처리소자(120)의 전원부(122)와 신호처리소자(120)의 밴드갭 기준전압 생성부(123) 사이에 연결될 수 있다. 신호처리소자(120)는 신호처리를 위한 기준이 되는 기준전압을 생성하는 밴드갭 기준전압 생성부(123)를 포함할 수 있다. 해당 기준전압은 멤스 구조체(130)에 바이어스 전압으로 제공될 수 있다. 밴드갭 기준전압 생성부(123)는 전원부(122)로 인가되는 전원을 이용하여 기준전압을 생성하는데, 이때, 안정적이고 정확한 기준전압을 생성하기 위하여, 수동소자부(121)는 도 5와 같이, 밴드갭 기준전압 생성부(123)의 바로 전단에 연결되어 밴드갭 기준전압 생성부(123)로 RF 노이즈가 인가되는 것을 방지할 수 있다.
수동소자부(121)는 신호처리소자(120)의 전원부(122)와 신호처리소자(120)의 밴드갭 기준전압 생성부(123) 사이에 연결되되, 전원부(122) 후단에 연결되는 필터(124) 후단에 연결될 수 있다. 필터(124)는 안정화 필터 등 다양한 필터를 포함할 수 있다. 수동소자부(121)는 도 6과 같이, 전원부(122) 후단에 연결되는 필터(124)와 밴드갭 기준전압 생성부(123) 사이에 연결될 수 있다. 이외, 수동소자부(121)는 RF 노이즈가 신호처리에 영향을 미치지 않도록 다양한 위치에 배치될 수 있다.
앞서 설명한 바와 같이, 수동소자부(121)는 도 7과 같이, 가변 커패시터로 구현될 수 있다. 이때, 가변 커패시터를 구현함에 있어서, 수동소자부(121)는 도 8과 같이, 병렬로 연결되는 복수의 커패시터와 각 커패시터와 직렬로 연결되는 복수의 스위치를 포함할 수 있다. 전원부(122)인 VDD와 밴드갭 기준전압 생성부(123)인 BGR 사이에 복수의 커패시터 및 복수의 스위치로 구현될 수 있다. RF 노이즈가 제거된 신호는 밴드갭 기준전압 생성부(123)로 인가되고, 차치펌프(charge pump)를 통해 멤스 구조체(130)에 바이어스 전압으로 제공될 수 있고, LDO(low-dropout) 전압레귤레이터를 통해 안정적인 전원을 생성할 수 있다.
신호처리소자(120)의 전원부(122)는 복수의 전원부(122-1,122-2)를 포함할 수 있다. 외부전원 이외 배터리로부터 공급되는 전원 등 단일 전원이 아닌 복수의 전원을 입력받을 수 있다. 이때, 입력되는 각 전원마다 RF 노이즈를 포함할 수 있는 바, 수동소자부(121)는 복수의 전원부(122-1,122-2) 각각에 전기적으로 연결되는 복수의 수동소자부(121-1,121-2)를 포함할 수 있다. 이때, 복수의 전원부(122-1,122-2) 각각 RF 노이즈 주파수가 다를 수 있는 바, 각각 연결되는 수동소자부(121-1,121-2)는 해당 전원부의 RF 노이즈에 따라 커패시턴스 값이 다르게 설정될 수 있다.
신호처리소자(120)의 전원부(122)는 외부전원이 입력되는 외부전원 입력부와 기판(110)을 통해 전기적으로 연결될 수 있다. 본 발명의 실시예에 따른 멤스 마이크로폰(100)는 외부전원과 연결될 수 있고, 신호처리소자(120)의 전원부(122)는 외부전원이 입력되는 외부전원 입력부와 기판(110)을 통해 전기적으로 연결되어 전원을 공급받을 수 있다.
신호처리소자(120) 내부에 배치되는 수동소자부(121) 이외에 기판(110) 상에 배치되고, 외부전원 입력부와 전기적으로 연결되는 제2 수동소자부(111)를 포함할 수 있다. 도 10 및 도 11과 같이, 기판(110) 상에 제2 수동소자부(111)를 포함할 수 있다. 여기서, 신호처리소자(120)의 내부에 배치되는 수동소자부(121)와 제2 수동소자부(111)는 용량이 상이할 수 있다. 신호처리소자(120) 내부에 배치되는 수동소자부(121)인 제1 수동소자부와 제2 수동소자부(111)는 저감하는 RF 노이즈의 주파수 대역이 다를 수 있다. 예를 들어, 두 가지 다른 대역폭을 가지는 신호를 수신하는 경우, 제1 수동소자부와 제2 수동소자부(111)는 서로 다른 대역폭을 가지는 신호 각각의 RF 노이즈를 저감할 수 있다. 이때, 기판(110)에 배치되는 제2 수동소자부(111)는 신호처리소자(120) 내부에 배치되는 수동소자부(121)보다 용량과 사이즈가 큰 커패시터를 포함할 수 있다.
신호처리소자(120) 내부에 배치되는 수동소자부(121) 이외에 기판(110) 내부에 배치되고, 외부전원 입력부와 전기적으로 연결되는 제3 수동소자부(112)를 포함할 수 있다. 도 12 및 도 13과 같이, 기판(110) 내부에 임베디드되는 제2 수동소자부(111)를 포함할 수 있다. 여기서, 신호처리소자(120)의 내부에 배치되는 수동소자부(121)와 제3 수동소자부(112)는 용량이 상이할 수 있다. 신호처리소자(120) 내부에 배치되는 수동소자부(121)인 제1 수동소자부와 제3 수동소자부(112)는 저감하는 RF 노이즈의 주파수 대역이 다를 수 있다. 예를 들어, 두 가지 다른 대역폭을 가지는 신호를 수신하는 경우, 제1 수동소자부와 제3 수동소자부(112)는 서로 다른 대역폭을 가지는 신호 각각의 RF 노이즈를 저감할 수 있다. 이때, 기판(110)에 배치되는 제3 수동소자부(112)는 신호처리소자(120) 내부에 배치되는 수동소자부(121)보다 용량과 사이즈가 큰 커패시터를 포함할 수 있다.
또한, 신호처리소자(120)의 내부에 배치되는 수동소자부(121), 기판(110) 상에 배치되는 제2 수동소자부(111), 기판(110) 내부에 임베디드되는 제3 수동소자부(112) 모두 포함할 수 있다. 각각의 수동소자부는 용량이 상이할 수 있고, 각각 저감하는 노이즈의 주파수가 다를 수 있다. 또는 동일한 노이즈를 제거하되, 용량이 분배될 수 있다.
외부전원과 함께 RF 노이즈가 인가될 수 있고, 이와 동시에 전원 자체가 흔들리는 노이즈가 함께 인가될 수 있다. RF 노이즈 저감을 위한 커패시터로 상대적으로 낮은 커패시턴스 값이 필요하며, 수십 ~ 수백 pF의 커패시턴스가 필요하다. 이와 달리, 전원 안정화를 위한 커패시터는 수백 nF ~ 수 uF의 높은 커패시턴스를 필요로 할 수 있다.
신호처리소자(120)의 내부에 배치되는 수동소자부(121)는 RF 노이즈 저감을 위한 커패시터를 포함하고, 제2 수동소자부(111) 또는 제3 수동소자부(112), 제2 수동소자부(111) 및 제3 수동소자부(112)는 전원 안정화를 위한 커패시터를 포함할 수 있다. 즉, 신호처리소자(120)의 내부에 배치되는 수동소자부(121)는 수십 ~ 수백 pF의 커패시턴스를 가질 수 있고, 기판(110) 상에 배치되는 제2 수동소자부(111) 또는 제3 수동소자부(112), 제2 수동소자부(111) 및 제3 수동소자부(112)는 수백 nF ~ 수 uF의 커패시턴스를 가질 수 있다. 예를 들어, 신호처리소자(120) 내부에 배치되는 수동소자부(121)는 10 내지 1000 pF 커패시턴스 값을 가지고, 제2 수동소자부(111) 또는 제3 수동소자부(112)는 100 nF 내지 10 uF 커패시턴스 값을 가질수 있다.
상기와 같이, 구현되는 본 발명의 실시예에 따른 멤스 마이크로폰(100)은 신호처리소자(120) 내부에 RF 노이즈 저감을 위한 수동소자부(121)가 구현될 수 있다. 이를 통해, 커패시터를 기판(110) 상에 배치하기 어려운 제약이나, 커패시터를 기판(110) 내부에 임베디드하기 위한 ECM 등의 특수 PCB의 사용없이 일반 기판을 이용함으로써 멤스 마이크로폰 패키지 공정의 설계 자유도를 높일 수 있다. 또한, 복수의 커패시터를 이용하여 다양한 RF 노이즈의 주파수를 저감할 수 있고, 복수의 전원에 대해서도 적용이 가능하다.
본 실시 예와 관련된 기술 분야에서 통상의 지식을 가진 자는 상기된 기재의 본질적인 특성에서 벗어나지 않는 범위에서 변형된 형태로 구현될 수 있음을 이해할 수 있을 것이다. 그러므로 개시된 방법들은 한정적인 관점이 아니라 설명적인 관점에서 고려되어야 한다. 본 발명의 범위는 전술한 설명이 아니라 특허청구범위에 나타나 있으며, 그와 동등한 범위 내에 있는 모든 차이점은 본 발명에 포함된 것으로 해석되어야 할 것이다.

Claims (10)

  1. 기판;
    기판 상에 배치되는 멤스 구조체;
    상기 기판 상에 배치되고, 상기 멤스 구조체의 신호를 처리하는 신호처리소자; 및
    상기 신호처리소자의 내부에 배치되어, 상기 신호처리소자의 전원부와 전기적으로 연결되는 수동소자부를 포함하는 멤스 마이크로폰.
  2. 제1항에 있어서,
    상기 수동소자부는 가변 커패시터를 포함하는 멤스 마이크로폰.
  3. 제1항에 있어서,
    상기 수동소자부는,
    병렬로 연결되는 복수의 커패시터; 및
    상기 복수의 커패시터와 각각 직렬로 연결되는 복수의 스위치를 포함하는 멤스 마이크로폰.
  4. 제3항에 있어서,
    상기 신호처리소자는,
    상기 신호처리소자에 인가되는 RF 노이즈의 주파수에 대응하여 상기 복수의 스위치 각각을 온오프하는 멤스 마이크로폰.
  5. 제1항에 있어서,
    상기 수동소자부는,
    MIM (Metal-Insulator-Metal) 커패시터, MOM (Metal-Oxide-Metal) 커패시터, 및 딥 트렌치 커패시터 중 적어도 하나를 포함하는 멤스 마이크로폰.
  6. 제1항에 있어서,
    상기 신호처리소자의 전원부는,
    외부전원이 입력되는 외부전원 입력부와 상기 기판을 통해 전기적으로 연결되는 멤스 마이크로폰.
  7. 제6항에 있어서,
    상기 기판 상에 배치되고, 상기 외부전원 입력부와 전기적으로 연결되는 제2 수동소자부를 포함하고,
    상기 신호처리소자 내부에 배치되는 수동소자부와 상기 제2 수동소자부는 용량이 상이한 멤스 마이크로폰.
  8. 제7항에 있어서,
    상기 신호처리소자 내부에 배치되는 수동소자부는 10 내지 1000 pF 커패시턴스 값을 가지고,
    상기 제2 수동소자부는 100 nF 내지 10 uF 커패시턴스 값을 가지는 멤스 마이크로폰.
  9. 제6항에 있어서,
    상기 기판 내부에 배치되고, 상기 외부전원 입력부와 전기적으로 연결되는 제3 수동소자부를 포함하고,
    상기 신호처리소자 내부에 배치되는 수동소자부와 상기 제3 수동소자부는 용량이 상이한 멤스 마이크로폰.
  10. 제1항에 있어서,
    상기 신호처리소자의 전원부는 복수의 전원부를 포함하고,
    상기 수동소자부는,
    상기 복수의 전원부 각각에 전기적으로 연결되는 복수의 수동소자부를 포함하는 멤스 마이크로폰.
