Since the currently logged-in account sends a sharing instruction to the server when sharing a location, and the server subsequently sends the location sharing message if the sharing account is online, and saves the location sharing message (i.e., does not send it temporarily) if the sharing account is offline, the sharing status may include not only the sharing account's acceptance of the location sharing message, but also the sharing account's reception status of the location sharing message.

  • the sharing acceptance status includes at least one of offline not received, accepted sharing, and rejected sharing.
  • the sharing acceptance status can characterize the online status of the sharing account, the reception status of location sharing messages, and the acceptance status. Specifically, when the sharing account is offline, the server does not send location sharing messages to the computer device corresponding to the sharing status, and the sharing acceptance status for the sharing account is "offline, not received"; when the sharing account is online and accepts location sharing initiated by the currently logged-in account, the sharing acceptance status is "accepted”; when the sharing account is online and rejects location sharing initiated by the currently logged-in account, the sharing acceptance status is "rejected”.
  • the computer device corresponding to the currently logged-in account receives sharing acceptance information (used to characterize the sharing acceptance status) from the server. For example, the computer device switches from a circular offline status identifier to a triangular online receiving status identifier.
