Abstract

発電システム(11)は、第1燃料(F1)及び第2燃料(F2)を含む2種以上の燃料を用いて発電可能な混焼エンジン発電機(21)を備え、電力需給調整用の要求発電電力量、第1燃料余剰量(TS1)、第2燃料余剰量(TS2)、及び、混焼エンジン発電機(21)の運転実績を含む各種情報を取得する情報取得部(13),(15)と、第1発電電力量及び第2発電電力量を統合した統合発電電力量を算出する算出部(13)と、統合発電電力量と、電力需給調整用の要求発電電力量との大小関係を判定する判定部(13)と、を備え、制御部(13)、(15)、(23)は、統合発電電力量が電力需給調整用の要求発電電力量を超える場合に、混焼比率(Rq2)、及び発電出力を含む電力需給調整用の運転態様を設定すると共に、当該設定した電力需給調整用の運転態様を用いて混焼エンジン発電機(21)に係る発電制御を行う。

Description

発電システム
 本発明は、2種以上の燃料を用いて発電可能なエンジン発電機を備える発電システムに関する。
 化石燃料の使用量を削減するための脱炭素システムとして、再生可能エネルギー(以下、「再エネ」と省略する場合がある。)で生成した水素や合成燃料、バイオ燃料等の再エネ由来燃料を使用した混焼による発電システムが、発電、コジェネレーション向け等の用途で検討されている。再エネ由来燃料を活用した発電システムでは、2種以上の燃料の供給量に応じて燃焼タイミングを制御することにより、高効率な運転が可能になる。
 再エネ由来燃料を活用した発電システムは、主として電力需給調整用の発電に利用可能である。ただし、大規模な発電システムでは、その稼働範囲(発電出力範囲)に制限がある。そのため、例えば、送電線の送電制限が課された地域では、大規模な発電システムを電力需給調整用に利用すると、十分な送電が難しいケースが生じる。
 そこで、電力需給調整用の発電システムを電力需要家周辺に分散配置することにより、発電システムの小規模化を図る試みが検討されている。分散配置された個々の発電システムは、比較的小型のエンジン発電機よりなる。そのため、発電出力範囲が広く、電力需給調整用に活用することが可能となる。
 一方、小型のエンジン発電機を電力需給調整用に活用する場合、発電コストが高いという課題がある。この課題は、エンジン発電機の発電効率・稼働率が共に低いことに基づき生じる。エンジン発電機の発電効率が低いことに関し、特に、発電出力の低い運転をする場合、発電効率が低下する傾向がある。
 前記の課題を解決するため、例えば、特許文献1には、複数台のエンジン発電機を対象として並列運転を行い、発電出力に応じて発電するエンジン発電機の台数や燃料種を制御する発電システムの発明が開示されている。

 しかしながら、特許文献1に係る発電システムでは、出力変動に対応して発電効率を高めることが可能な反面、複数台のエンジン発電機の個々の稼働率が低下する。その結果、インフラ資源の有効活用の点で改良の余地があった。
 本発明は、前記実情に鑑みてなされたものであり、2種以上の燃料を用いて発電可能なエンジン発電機を備える発電システムにおいて、インフラ資源の有効活用を具現化可能な発電システムを提供することを目的とする。
 前記課題を解決するために、本発明に係る発電システムは、
 第1燃料及び第2燃料を含む2種以上の燃料を用いて発電可能なエンジン発電機を備える発電システムであって、
 電力需給調整用の要求発電電力量、当該要求発電電力量に関する発電に利用可能な第1燃料の余剰量である第1燃料余剰量、当該要求発電電力量に関する発電に利用可能な第2燃料の余剰量である第2燃料余剰量、及び、前記エンジン発電機の運転実績を含む各種情報を取得する情報取得部と、
 前記第1燃料余剰量に基づく第1発電電力量、及び前記第2燃料余剰量に基づく第2発電電力量をそれぞれ算出すると共に、前記第1発電電力量及び前記第2発電電力量を統合した統合発電電力量を算出する算出部と、
 前記算出部により算出した前記統合発電電力量と、前記情報取得部により取得した前記電力需給調整用の要求発電電力量との大小関係を判定する判定部と、
 前記情報取得部により取得した前記各種情報に基づいて、当該エンジン発電機の運転態様を設定すると共に、当該設定した運転態様を用いて当該エンジン発電機に係る発電制御を行う制御部と、を備え、
 前記制御部は、前記判定部により前記統合発電電力量が前記電力需給調整用の要求発電電力量を超える旨の判定が下された場合に、前記算出した前記統合発電電力量に基づいて、利用する燃料種の混焼比率、及び発電出力を含む電力需給調整用の運転態様を設定すると共に、当該設定した電力需給調整用の運転態様を用いて当該エンジン発電機に係る発電制御を行う
 ことを最も主要な特徴とする。
 本発明に係る発電システムによれば、2種以上の燃料を用いて発電可能なエンジン発電機を備える発電システムにおいて、インフラ資源の有効活用を具現化することができる。
 上記以外の課題、構成及び効果について、以下の実施形態において詳細に説明する。

 なお、以下に示す図において、共通の機能を有する部材間、又は、相互に対応する機能を有する部材間には、原則として共通の参照符号を付し、重複した説明を省略する。また、説明の便宜のため、部材のサイズ及び形状は、変形又は誇張して模式的に表す場合がある。
〔発電システム11の基本概念〕
 はじめに、本発明の実施形態に係る発電システム11の基本概念について、図1A~図1Cを参照して説明する。
 図1A~図1Cは、本発明の実施形態に係る発電システム11の概略構成図である。図1Aは電源切替開閉器の動作モードが停電モードである際の、図1Bは電源切替開閉器の動作モードが需給調整モードである際の、図1Cは電源切替開閉器の動作モードが待機モードである際の、発電システム11の構成をそれぞれ表す。
 本発明の実施形態に係る発電システム11は、既存の混焼エンジン発電機21を特定用途(例えば停電時等の非常用)とは異なる電力需給調整用に活用するために、用途に応じた発電可能量及び燃料使用量を制御する役割を果たす。
 図1A~図1Cに示すように、本発明の実施形態に係る発電システム11は、第1燃料F1及び第2燃料F2を含む2種以上の燃料を用いて発電可能な混焼エンジン発電機21を備える発電システム11であって、電力需給調整用の要求発電電力量、当該要求発電電力量に関する発電に利用可能な第1燃料F1の余剰量である第1燃料余剰量TS1、当該要求発電電力量に関する発電に利用可能な第2燃料F2の余剰量である第2燃料余剰量TS2、及び、混焼エンジン発電機21の運転実績を含む各種情報を取得する情報取得部と、第1燃料残量T1に基づく第1発電電力量、及び第2燃料残量T2に基づく第2発電電力量をそれぞれ算出すると共に、前記第1発電電力量及び前記第2発電電力量を統合した統合発電電力量を算出する算出部と、前記算出部により算出した前記統合発電電力量と、前記情報取得部により取得した前記電力需給調整用の要求発電電力量との大小関係を判定する判定部と、前記情報取得部により取得した前記各種情報に基づいて、運転態様を設定すると共に、当該設定した運転態様を用いて当該混焼エンジン発電機21に係る発電制御を行う制御部と、を備え、前記制御部は、前記判定部により前記統合発電電力量が前記電力需給調整用の要求発電電力量を超える旨の判定が下された場合に、前記算出した前記統合発電電力量に基づいて、利用する燃料種、混焼比率Rq2、及び発電出力を含む電力需給調整用の運転態様を設定すると共に、当該設定した電力需給調整用の運転態様を用いて当該混焼エンジン発電機21に係る発電制御を行う。
 本発明の実施形態に係る発電システム11によれば、2種以上の燃料を用いて発電可能な混焼エンジン発電機21を備える発電システム11において、電力需給調整用を除く特定用途(例えば停電時等の非常用)に専ら用いられる混焼エンジン発電機21を、本来の特定用途での運転を待機している期間に、本来の特定用途とは異なる電力需給調整用途に活用することにより、インフラ資源の有効活用を具現化することができる。
 詳しく述べると、本発明の実施形態に係る発電システム11は、図1A~図1Cに示すように、混焼制御管理装置13、及び混焼発電装置15を備えて構成されている。
 混焼制御管理装置13及び混焼発電装置15の間は、有線通信媒体又は無線通信媒体を介して、リアルタイムの情報通信が可能に構成されている。
 混焼制御管理装置13は、混焼発電装置15から第1燃料残量T1及び第2燃料残量T2、第1燃料備蓄量TE1及び第2燃料備蓄量TE2、運転実績データ等を取得する一方、利用する燃料種、混焼比率Rq2、発電出力を含む運転態様データを混焼発電装置15に出力することにより、混焼発電装置15による発電制御を管理する役割を果たす。
 また、混焼制御管理装置13は、電力グリッド19の電圧を監視することで停電検知を行う機能を有する。
 さらに、混焼制御管理装置13は、第1燃料残量T1及び第2燃料残量T2、並びに、第1燃料備蓄量TE1及び第2燃料備蓄量TE2を用いて算出(式1、式2参照)される第1燃料余剰量TS1及び第2燃料余剰量TS2に基づいて、燃料調達計画を策定すると共に、策定した計画に従って混焼発電装置15に燃料を供給する機能を有する。
 混焼制御管理装置13の内部構成について、詳しくは後記する。
 混焼制御管理装置13には、上位のシステムとして、需給調整管理システム17が電気的に接続されている。
 需給調整管理システム17は、電力の安定供給に必要な需要と供給のバランス、計画書作成、発電状況の監視に関するシステム全般を管理する役割を果たす。
 本実施形態では、需給調整管理システム17は、需給調整要求(下げDR:需要抑制要求)を混焼制御管理装置13宛に送る一方、混焼制御管理装置13は、電力需給調整可能量(下げDR可能量)を需給調整管理システム17に返すように動作する。
 混焼発電装置15は、混焼制御管理装置13から送られてきた運転態様データに基づいて、混焼エンジン発電機21に係る発電制御を行うことにより、混焼エンジン発電機21を運転する役割を果たす。
 詳しく述べると、混焼発電装置15は、混焼エンジン発電機21、混焼制御部23、第1燃料タンク25、及び第2燃料タンク27を備えて構成されている。
 混焼エンジン発電機21は、第1燃料F1及び第2燃料F2を含む2種以上の燃料を予め混合しておき、該混合した燃料をシリンダ41の燃焼室43(図2参照)内で燃焼させることで回転駆動力を発生させ、発生した回転駆動力を電力に変換することで発電可能なエンジン発電機である。
 本実施形態では、第1燃料F1及び第2燃料F2を含む2種以上の燃料を予め混合しておき、該混合した燃料をシリンダ41の燃焼室43内で燃焼させることを、「混焼」と呼んでいる。
 混焼発電装置15に備わる混焼エンジン発電機21について、詳しくは図2を参照して後記する。
 混焼制御部23は、例えば、需給調整用の要求発電電力量、要求発電電力量に関する発電に利用可能な第1燃料F1の余剰量である第1燃料余剰量TS1、要求発電電力量に関する発電に利用可能な第2燃料F2の余剰量である第2燃料余剰量TS2、及び、混焼エンジン発電機21の運転実績を含む各種情報に基づいて、運転態様を設定すると共に、当該設定した運転態様を用いて混焼エンジン発電機21に係る発電制御を行う。
〔用語の定義〕
 ここで、本発明の実施形態に係る発電システム11の説明で用いる用語を定義する。
 混焼とは、第1燃料F1及び第2燃料F2を含む2種以上の燃料を予め混合しておき、該混合した燃料をシリンダ41の燃焼室43(図2参照)内で燃焼させることをいう。
 第1燃料残量T1とは、第1燃料タンク25に貯留されている第1燃料F1に係る実残量である。
 第1燃料備蓄量TE1とは、第1燃料F1を特定用途(例えば非常用)に専ら用いるために設定された第1燃料F1の備蓄量である。
 第1燃料余剰量TS1とは、例えば、電力需給調整用の要求発電電力量に関する発電に利用可能な第1燃料F1の余剰量である。第1燃料余剰量TS1は、下記(式1)により算出することができる。

 第2燃料残量T2とは、第2燃料タンク27に貯留されている第2燃料F2に係る実残量である。
 第2燃料備蓄量TE2とは、第2燃料F2を特定用途(例えば非常用)に専ら用いるために設定された第2燃料F2の備蓄量である。
 第2燃料余剰量TS2とは、例えば、電力需給調整用の要求発電電力量に関する発電に利用可能な第2燃料F2の余剰量である。第2燃料余剰量TS2は、下記(式2)により算出することができる。

 ただし、第2燃料余剰量TS2は、これを省略しても構わない。
 混焼比率とは、ある燃料に注目した際の、全体量に対して当該ある燃料が占める割合を意味する。例えば、第2燃料F2に注目した際の、全体量に対して当該第2燃料F2が占める割合である混焼比率Rq2は、下記(式3)により算出することができる。

 なお、例えば、停電等の非常時に第1燃料F1のみを用いて混焼エンジン発電機21が単焼運転を行うケースでは、混焼比率Rq2はゼロである。
 第1燃料タンク25は、第1燃料F1を貯留するためのタンクである。ここで、第1燃料F1とは、例えば、軽油などの炭化水素燃料である。ただし、第1燃料F1は、メタンやプロパンなどのガス燃料であってもよい。
 第1燃料タンク25には、第1燃料残量T1を検出する第1燃料残量センサ25a(図2参照)が設けられている。第1燃料残量センサ25aにより検出された第1燃料残量T1は、混焼発電装置15に備わる混焼制御部23に送られる。また、第1燃料タンク25に貯留された第1燃料F1は、燃料配管等を介して混焼エンジン発電機21に送られる。
 第2燃料タンク27は、第2燃料F2を貯留するためのタンクである。ここで、第2燃料F2とは、例えば、水素を含むガス燃料である。具体的には、第2燃料F2としては、例えば、水素リッチガス、水素が一部含まれる天然ガス・バイオガス・合成ガス、アンモニア、改質ガス等を例示することができる。改質ガスとは、例えば天然ガス、バイオガス、エタノールなどのバイオ燃料、アンモニア、合成燃料を改質したガスである。
 第2燃料タンク27には、第2燃料残量T2を検出する第2燃料残量センサ27a(図2参照)が設けられている。第2燃料残量センサ27aにより検出された第2燃料残量T2は、混焼発電装置15に備わる混焼制御部23に送られる。また、第2燃料タンク27に貯留された第2燃料F2は、燃料配管等を介して混焼エンジン発電機21に送られる。
 混焼発電装置15には、第1発電切替開閉器31及び第2発電切替開閉器33がそれぞれ電気的に接続されている。第2発電切替開閉器33には、電力需要家35の負荷(不図示)が電気的に接続されている。
 第1発電切替開閉器31は、停電モード時等の非常時に作動する一方、第2発電切替開閉器33は、需給調整モード時に作動する。これにより、第1発電切替開閉器31及び第2発電切替開閉器33は、電力需要家35への電力供給安定化を担保する役割を果たす。
 本実施形態の説明において、第1発電切替開閉器31及び第2発電切替開閉器33を総称する場合、単に「発電切替開閉器32」と呼ぶ場合がある。
〔混焼発電装置15に備わる混焼エンジン発電機21の周辺構成〕
 次に、混焼発電装置15に備わる混焼エンジン発電機21の周辺部を含む構成について、図2を参照して説明する。
 図2は、混焼発電装置15に備わるに備わる混焼エンジン発電機21の周辺部を含む概略構成図である。
 図2に示すように、混焼発電装置15に備わる混焼エンジン発電機21は、円筒状のシリンダ41、シリンダ41内に設けられる燃焼室43、吸気弁44、ピストン45、排気弁46、クランク軸47、及びインジェクタ49を備えて構成されている。インジェクタ49は、第1燃料配管25b及び燃料ポンプ(不図示)を介して第1燃料タンク25に連通接続されている。
 第1燃料F1のみを用いて混焼エンジン発電機21を運転するケース(例えば、停電等の非常時)では、インジェクタ49は、エンジン制御ユニット(ECU)37の制御指令に従って、吸気弁44及び排気弁46を閉止した状態の燃焼室43内に第1燃料F1を直接噴射する。
 燃焼室43内に供給された第1燃料F1は、ピストン45で圧縮されて高温・高圧になる。その状態で第1燃料F1が自己着火燃焼することでピストン45にトルクが発生する。発生したトルクによるピストン45の往復運動はクランク軸47の回転運動に変換される。クランク軸47には発電機(不図示)が接続されている。この発電機は、クランク軸47の回転駆動力を電力に変換することで発電するように動作する。
 クランク軸47には、クランク軸47の回転位置及び回転速度を検出するクランク角センサ48が設けられている。
 燃焼室43の吸気側には吸気管51が連通接続される一方、燃焼室43の排気側には排気管53が連通接続されている。
 吸気管51には、スロットルバルブ55が設けられている。スロットルバルブ55の開度に基づく吸気量は、エンジン制御コントローラ(ECU:Engine Control Unit)37の制御指令に従って調整される。これより、吸気管51を介して燃焼室43内に吸気される空気の量が変化する。スロットルバルブ55の開度は、開度センサ(不図示)により検出され、ECU37に送られる。
 吸気管51のうちスロットルバルブ55の上流側には、吸気温度センサ57が設けられている。また、シリンダ41の近傍に備わる冷却系(不図示)には、冷却水温センサ58が設けられている。吸気温度センサ57及び冷却水温センサ58の各検出値はECU37に送られる。
 ECU37は、開度センサによる吸気量の検出値、吸気温度センサ57による吸気温度の検出値、冷却水温センサ58による冷却水温の検出値等に基づいて、混焼エンジン発電機21の各種制御を行う。
 さらに、吸気管51には、連通配管62に備わる第2燃料供給装置61及び第2燃料流量調整装置63をそれぞれ介して、第2燃料タンク27が連通接続されている。これにより、第2燃料F2(例えば、水素等のガス燃料)は、空気と混合された状態で燃焼室43に供給される。燃焼室43内では、第1燃料F1(例えば軽油)の自己着火燃焼により第2燃料F2と空気の予混合気は加熱され、燃焼(混焼)するように構成されている。
 排気管53には、排気中の酸素濃度を検出する酸素濃度センサ59が設けられている。酸素濃度センサ59による排気中の酸素濃度検出値は、ECU37に送られる。
 ECU37は、クランク角センサ48によるクランク軸47の回転位置及び回転速度、エンジントルク、酸素濃度センサ59による排気中の酸素濃度検出値等に基づいて、インジェクタ49による第1燃料F1の噴射タイミングを制御する。
 第2燃料F2は水素を含むため、第2燃料F2と空気の予混合気は、量論比率よりも空気過剰な割合、すなわち、高空気過剰率条件においても、混焼が成立する。そのため、混焼エンジン発電機21では、従来のディーゼル燃焼用のエンジンの吸気に第2燃料F2を追加することにより、混焼が成立する。
 混焼制御部23は、第1燃料残量センサ25aにより検出された第1燃料残量T1、第1燃料備蓄量TE1に基づいて(式1参照)、需給調整用の要求発電電力量を発電可能な第1燃料余剰量TS1を算出する。同様に、混焼制御部23は、第2燃料残量センサ27aにより検出された第2燃料残量T2、第2燃料備蓄量TE2に基づいて(式2参照)、需給調整用の要求発電電力量を発電可能な第2燃料余剰量TS2を算出する。
 また、混焼制御部23は、クランク角センサ48によるクランク軸47の回転位置及び回転速度に基づき、エンジンの燃焼タイミングを設定する。混焼制御部23は、前記設定したエンジンの燃焼タイミングに基づいて、第2燃料供給装置61及び流量調整装置63の動作を制御することにより、燃焼室43に供給される第2燃料F2の流量を制御する。
 なお、混焼制御部23は、ECU37内部に実装する構成を採用しても構わない。
 混焼制御管理装置13は、混焼発電装置15に備わる混焼制御部23との間で、イーサネット等の有線通信媒体又は無線通信媒体(不図示)を介してデータ交換可能に接続されている。
〔混焼制御管理装置13の構成〕
 次に、混焼制御管理装置13の構成について、図3を参照して説明する。
 図3は、本発明の実施形態に係る発電システム11に備わる混焼制御管理装置13の機能ブロック図である。
 図3に示すように、混焼制御管理装置13は、燃料管理部301、需給調整要求管理部303、停電判定部305、混焼運転管理部307、及び運転実績管理部309を備えて構成されている。
 燃料管理部301は、混焼発電装置15に備わる混焼制御部23から第1燃料余剰量TS1及び第2燃料余剰量TS2を取得すると共に、当該取得した第1燃料余剰量TS1及び第2燃料余剰量TS2の情報を管理する。
 需給調整要求管理部303は、上位の需給調整管理システム17からの需給調整要求(下げDR)を取得すると共に、当該取得した需給調整要求の情報を管理する。
 詳しく述べると、需給調整要求管理部303は、需給調整管理システム17からの需給調整要求(下げDR)を受信すると、当該需給調整要求に対し、混焼発電装置15の運転が可能か否かを判定する。混焼発電装置15がメンテナンス中等の事情により運転不可の場合、需給調整要求に応えることができない。この場合、需給調整要求管理部303は、需給調整可能量をゼロとして、需給調整管理システム17に応答する。混焼発電装置15の運転が可能な場合、需給調整要求管理部303は、混焼運転管理部307宛に需給調整要求の情報を出力する。
 停電判定部305は、電力需要家35(例えば図1A参照)が接続している電力グリッド(電力系統)の電圧を監視することにより、当該電力系統に係る停電有無を判定する。
 混焼運転管理部307は、燃料管理部301により管理される第1燃料余剰量TS1及び第2燃料余剰量TS2の情報、需給調整要求管理部303により管理される需給調整要求の情報、停電判定部305による判定結果である電力系統の停電有無の情報、並びに、運転実績管理部309により管理される混焼エンジン発電機21に係る運転実績データの情報に基づいて、混焼発電装置15に備わる混焼エンジン発電機21に係る運転全般を管理する。
 運転実績管理部309は、混焼発電装置15に備わる混焼制御部23から混焼エンジン発電機21に係る運転実績データを取得すると共に、当該取得した運転実績データの情報を管理する。
 運転点設定部311は、混焼エンジン発電機21の発電出力、混焼比率Rq2を含む運転点を設定する。ここで、運転点とは、混焼エンジン発電機21の発電出力、混焼比率Rq2を含む混焼エンジン発電機21の運転態様を意味する。
 燃料消費量予測部313は、運転点設定部311により設定された運転点(運転態様)の情報に基づいて、第1燃料F1及び第2燃料F2に係る各燃料消費量を予測する。
 燃料コスト算出部315は、燃料消費量予測部313による第1燃料F1及び第2燃料F2に係る各燃料消費量の予測結果、並びに、第1燃料F1及び第2燃料F2に係る単位容量当たりの各燃料単価に基づいて、燃料コストの予測値を算出する。
 CO2排出量算出部317は、燃料消費量予測部313による第1燃料F1及び第2燃料F2に係る各燃料消費量の予測結果、並びに、第1燃料F1及び第2燃料F2に係る単位当たりの各CO2排出量に基づいて、CO2排出量の予測値を算出する。なお、単位当たりについて、燃料の、単位質量当たり、単位容積当たり、単位熱量当たり、などがあるが、適宜選択してCO2排出量の予測値を算出すればよい。
 最小値算出部319は、燃料コスト算出部315により算出された燃料コストの予測値、CO2排出量算出部317により算出されたCO2排出量の予測値に基づいて、燃料コスト・CO2排出量に関する最小値を算出する。
 電力需給調整判定部321は、燃料管理部301により管理される第1燃料余剰量TS1及び第2燃料余剰量TS2の情報、需給調整要求管理部303により管理される需給調整要求の情報、停電判定部305による判定結果である電力系統の停電有無の情報等に基づいて、電力需給調整に係る実施可否を判定する。
 発電電力切替制御部323は、停電判定部305による判定結果、又は、電力需給調整判定部321による電力需給調整に係る実施可否判定結果等に基づいて、第1電源切替開閉器31及び第2電源切替開閉器33を開閉制御する。
 運転実績管理部309は、混焼エンジン発電機21に係る運転実績データとして、運転時の環境条件331、運転条件・計画333、燃料供給条件・計画335、制御パラメータ337,履歴情報339、混焼エンジン発電機21に係る諸元情報341を含む各種の情報を管理する。
 混焼エンジン発電機21は、外気温度や湿度を含む運転時の環境条件331によって異なる運転特性を示す。例えば、第2燃料F2として水素を活用する場合、外気温度が高いほど燃焼速度が速くなる。そのため、異常燃焼を抑制する目的で、第2燃料F2である水素の供給速度(燃料供給条件・計画335)に制限をかける必要がある。
 また、混焼エンジン発電機21の発電出力が低い場合、燃焼室43に供給する空気に対する第2燃料F2(水素)の割合が小さくなるため、第2燃料F2(水素)の混焼比率〔=第2燃料量/(第1燃料量+第2燃料量)〕が小さくなる。そのため、第2燃料F2(水素)の供給速度(燃料供給条件・計画335)を調整(供給停止を含む)する必要がある。
 こうした混焼エンジン発電機21に係る運転特性は、サイズ等によって異なる。そのため、混焼エンジン発電機21毎の諸元情報318に対応付けて、個々の運転実績データが取得・管理されている。
〔発電システム11の動作〕
 次に、本発明の実施形態に係る発電システム11の動作について、図4A、図4B、図5A、図5B、図6を適宜参照して説明する。
 図4A、図4Bは、本発明の実施形態に係る発電システム11に備わる混焼制御管理装置13の動作説明に供するフローチャート図である。図5A、図5Bは、運転点設定処理の詳細を表すフローチャート図である。図6は、異なる運転モード毎の第1電源切替開閉器・第2電源切替開閉器の各スイッチ位置を表す説明図である。
 図4Aに示すステップS401において、発電システム11に備わる混焼制御管理装置13の停電判定部305は、電力需要家35(例えば図1A参照)が接続している電力系統の電圧を監視することにより、当該電力系統に係る停電有無を判定する。
 ステップS401の判定の結果、当該電力系統に係る停電有りの判定が下された場合、混焼制御管理装置13は、処理の流れを次のステップS402に進ませる。
 一方、ステップS401の判定の結果、当該電力系統に係る停電無しの判定が下された場合、混焼制御管理装置13は、処理の流れをステップS404へとジャンプさせる。
 ステップS402において、発電システム11に備わる混焼制御管理装置13の発電電力切替制御部323は、第1電源切替開閉器31及び第2電源切替開閉器33を停電モードに係る開閉態様(図1A、図6の停電モード参照)に制御する。停電モードでは、電力グリッド19に代えて、混焼エンジン発電機21に係る発電電力が電力需要家35に供給される。
 ステップS403において、発電システム11に備わる混焼制御管理装置13は、非常時である停電モードに相応しい混焼エンジン発電機21の運転態様である、第1燃料F1(例えば軽油)のみを用いた単焼運転を、混焼発電装置15に備わる混焼エンジン発電機21に行わせる。
 その後、混焼制御管理装置13は、処理の流れをステップS401に戻し、以降の処理を順次行わせる。
 ここで、第1燃料F1(例えば軽油:純正燃料)のみを用いた単焼運転は、異常燃焼等の事態が起こり難い信頼性、燃料調達の容易性の点で優れている。そのため、電力の安定供給が優先される停電モード時(非常時)の混焼エンジン発電機21の運転態様として、第1燃料F1(例えば軽油:純正燃料)のみを用いた単焼運転が相応しいと考えられる。
 ステップS404において、発電システム11に備わる混焼制御管理装置13の需給調整要求管理部303は、上位の需給調整管理システム17から需給調整要求(下げDR)を取得したか否かを判定する。
 ステップS404の判定の結果、上位の需給調整管理システム17から需給調整要求(下げDR)を取得した旨の判定が下された場合、混焼制御管理装置13は、処理の流れを次のステップS405に進ませる。
 一方、ステップS404の判定の結果、上位の需給調整管理システム17から需給調整要求(下げDR)を取得していない旨の判定が下された場合、混焼制御管理装置13は、処理の流れをステップS415へとジャンプさせる。
 ステップS405において、発電システム11に備わる混焼制御管理装置13の燃料管理部301は、混焼発電装置15に備わる混焼制御部23から第1燃料余剰量TS1及び第2燃料余剰量TS2の情報を取得する。また、混焼制御管理装置13の運転実績管理部309は、混焼発電装置15に備わる混焼制御部23から混焼エンジン発電機21に係る運転実績データを取得する。
 ステップS406において、発電システム11に備わる混焼制御管理装置13の運転点設定部311は、混焼エンジン発電機21の発電出力、第1燃料F1及び第2燃料F2に係る混焼比率を含む運転点(運転態様)を設定する。
 ステップS407において、発電システム11に備わる混焼制御管理装置13の燃料消費量予測部313は、ステップS406で運転点設定部311により設定された運転点(運転態様)の情報に基づいて、第1燃料F1及び第2燃料F2に係る各燃料消費量を予測する。
 なお、ステップS406の運転点設定処理は、実際には、複数の運転点(N通りの運転態様:ただし、Nは2以上の整数)にわたる処理が繰り返される。そこで、ステップS406の運転点設定処理について、図5A、図5Bを参照しながら、後でさらに詳しく説明することとする。
 図4Bに示すステップS408において、発電システム11に備わる混焼制御管理装置13の燃料コスト算出部315は、燃料消費量予測部313による第1燃料F1及び第2燃料F2に係る各燃料消費量の予測結果、並びに、第1燃料F1及び第2燃料F2に係る単位容量当たりの各燃料単価に基づいて、燃料総コスト(の予測値)を算出する。
 具体的には、例えば、第1燃料F1の単位発電量当たりの消費量をQ1〔L/kwh〕とし、第2燃料F2の単位発電量当たりの消費量をQ2〔L/kwh〕とし、第1燃料F1の単位容積当たりの燃料単価をP1[円/L]とし、第2燃料F2の単位容積当たりの燃料単価をP2[円/L]としたとき、単位発電量当たりの燃料総コストPt〔円/kwh〕は次の(式Y)により算出することができる。

 ステップS409において、発電システム11に備わる混焼制御管理装置13のCO2排出量算出部317は、燃料消費量予測部313による第1燃料F1及び第2燃料F2に係る各燃料消費量の予測結果、並びに、第1燃料F1及び第2燃料F2に係る単位当たりの各CO2排出量に基づいて、CO2総排出量(の予測値)を算出する。
 具体的には、例えば、第1燃料F1の単位容積当たりのCO2排出量単価をC1[円/L]とし、第2燃料F2の単位容積当たりのCO2排出量単価をC2[円/L]とすると、単位発電量当たりのCO2総排出量のコスト換算値Ct〔円/kwh〕は次の(式5)により算出することができる。

 ステップS410において、発電システム11に備わる混焼制御管理装置13の最小値算出部319は、燃料コスト算出部315により算出された燃料コストの予測値、CO2排出量算出部317により算出されたCO2排出量の予測値に基づいて、燃料総コスト・CO2総排出量に関する最小値を算出する。
 具体的には、例えば、前記(式4)により算出した燃料総コストPt〔円/kwh〕、前記(式5)により算出したCO2総排出量のコスト換算値Ct〔円/kwh〕の合計を最小化した合計最小化値をXとしたとき、合計最小化値Xは次の(式6)により算出することができる。なお、a1は燃料総コストPtに関する重みづけ第1係数、a2はCO2総排出量のコスト換算値Ctに関する重みづけ第2係数である。第1係数a1、第2係数a2は適宜の値を定数として与えればよい。
 ステップS411において、発電システム11に備わる混焼制御管理装置13の電力需給調整判定部321は、燃料管理部301により管理される第1燃料余剰量TS1及び第2燃料余剰量TS2の情報、需給調整要求管理部303により管理される需給調整要求の情報、停電判定部305による判定結果である電力系統の停電有無の情報等に基づいて、電力需給調整に係る実施可否を判定する。
 ステップS411の判定の結果、電力需給調整に係る実施可能の判定が下された場合、混焼制御管理装置13は、処理の流れを次のステップS412に進ませる。
 一方、ステップS411の判定の結果、電力需給調整に係る実施不可の判定が下された場合、混焼制御管理装置13は、処理の流れをステップS414へとジャンプさせる。
 ステップS412において、発電システム11に備わる混焼制御管理装置13の発電電力切替制御部323は、第1電源切替開閉器31及び第2電源切替開閉器33を需給調整モードに係る開閉態様(図1B、図6の需給調整モード参照)に制御する。
 需給調整モードでは、停電モード時と同様に、電力グリッド19に代えて、混焼エンジン発電機21に係る発電電力が電力需要家35に供給される。
 ただし、需給調整モードでは、第1燃料F1のみを用いた単焼運転により安定性を重視した発電制御を行う停電モード時と比べて、第1燃料F1及び第2燃料F2を用いた混焼運転に関する適切な運転点(運転態様)を探索し、当該探索を通じて抽出した適切な運転点(運転態様)を用いて高効率な発電制御を行う点で相違している。
 ステップS413において、発電システム11に備わる混焼制御管理装置13は、需給調整モードに相応しい混焼エンジン発電機21の運転態様である、第1燃料F1(例えば軽油)及び第2燃料F2(例えば水素)を用いた混焼運転を、混焼発電装置15に備わる混焼エンジン発電機21に行わせる。
 その後、混焼制御管理装置13は、処理の流れをステップS401に戻し、以降の処理を順次行わせる。
 ステップS414において、発電システム11に備わる混焼制御管理装置13の発電電力切替制御部323は、第1電源切替開閉器31及び第2電源切替開閉器33を運転待機モードに係る開閉態様(図1C、図6の需給調整モード参照)に制御する。
 運転待機モードでは、停電モード時、需給調整モード時とは異なり、混焼発電装置15に備わる混焼エンジン発電機21は運転待機しているため、電力グリッド19に係る発電電力が電力需要家35に供給される。
 その後、混焼制御管理装置13は、処理の流れをステップS401に戻し、以降の処理を順次行わせる。
 図4Aに示すステップS415において、発電システム11に備わる混焼制御管理装置13の発電電力切替制御部323は、ステップS414と同様に、第1電源切替開閉器31及び第2電源切替開閉器33を待機モードに係る開閉態様(図1C、図6の待機モード参照)に制御する。
 その後、混焼制御管理装置13は、処理の流れをステップS401に戻し、以降の処理を順次行わせる。
〔ステップS406の運転点設定処理の詳細〕
 次に、ステップS406の運転点設定処理の詳細について、図5A、図5Bを適宜参照して説明する。
 図5Aに示すステップS501において、発電システム11に備わる混焼制御管理装置13の運転点設定部311は、需給調整要求に従う電力需給調整量、第1燃料余剰量TS1及び第2燃料余剰量TS2、混焼エンジン発電機21に係る特性データ、並びに運転実績データに基づいて、混焼エンジン発電機21の発電出力、第2燃料F2に注目した混焼比率Rq2を含む運転点を設定する。
 運転点設定部311は、第2燃料F2に注目した混焼比率Rq2の初期値Rq2(0)を下記(式7)により算出する。

 なお、混焼比率Rq2の値(初期値及びn回目の値の両者を含む)が運転条件の設定範囲を外れるケースでは、運転条件の設定範囲内に収束するように混焼比率Rq2の値を適宜調整(ただし、調整代は小さい方が好ましい)すればよい。
 図5Aに示すステップS501において、初期の運転点が設定されると、複数パターンにわたる混焼比率Rq2に対する発電出力の関係が対応付けられた発電効率ηeマップ(図5A参照)を参照することにより、発電効率ηeが一意に決まる。なお、混焼比率Rq2及び発電出力のいずれも、時間の関数として取り扱うことができる。
 ステップS502において、発電システム11に備わる混焼制御管理装置13の燃料消費量予測部313は、ステップS502で設定された運転点(運転態様)の情報に基づいて、第1燃料消費量TC1及び第2燃料消費量TC2をそれぞれ算出する。
 ここで、電力需給調整の時間変化をGp(t)と定義すると、第1燃料消費量TC1及び第2燃料消費量TC2は、下記(式8)、(式9)によりそれぞれ表すことができる。

 図5Bに示すステップS503において、発電システム11に備わる混焼制御管理装置13は、ステップS502で(式8)を用いて算出した第1燃料消費量TC1と、(式1)を用いて算出した第1燃料余剰量TS1との大小関係を比較すると共に、ステップS502で(式9)を用いて算出した第2燃料消費量TC2と、(式2)を用いて算出した第2燃料余剰量TS2との大小関係を比較する判定を行う。
 ステップS503の比較判定の結果、(第1燃料消費量TC1<第1燃料余剰量TS1)及び(第2燃料消費量TC2<第2燃料余剰量TS2)の両者又はいずれか一方が成立しない旨の判定が下された場合(ステップS503のNo)、発電システム11に備わる混焼制御管理装置13は、処理の流れを次のステップS504へ進ませる。
 一方、ステップS503の比較判定の結果、(第1燃料消費量TC1<第1燃料余剰量TS1)及び(第2燃料消費量TC2<第2燃料余剰量TS2)の両者が成立する旨の判定が下された場合(ステップS503のYES)、需給調整モードでの混焼運転による発電制御が現状では可能であるとみなして、発電システム11に備わる混焼制御管理装置13は、処理の流れをステップS506へとジャンプさせる。
 ステップS504において、(第1燃料消費量TC1<第1燃料余剰量TS1)及び(第2燃料消費量TC2>第2燃料余剰量TS2)の両者が成立するか否かの判定を行う。
 ステップS504の判定の結果、(第1燃料消費量TC1<第1燃料余剰量TS1)及び(第2燃料消費量TC2>第2燃料余剰量TS2)の両者又はいずれか一方が成立しない旨の判定が下された場合(ステップS504のNo)、発電システム11に備わる混焼制御管理装置13は、処理の流れを次のステップS505へ進ませる。
 一方、ステップS504の判定の結果、(第1燃料消費量TC1<第1燃料余剰量TS1)及び(第2燃料消費量TC2>第2燃料余剰量TS2)の両者が成立する旨の判定が下された場合(ステップS504のYES)、需給調整モードでの第1燃料F1のみを用いた単焼運転による発電制御が現状では可能であるとみなして、発電システム11に備わる混焼制御管理装置13は、処理の流れをステップS508へとジャンプさせる。
 ステップS505において、(第1燃料消費量TC1>第1燃料余剰量TS1)及び(第2燃料消費量TC2<第2燃料余剰量TS2)の両者が成立するか否かの判定を行う。
 ステップS505の判定の結果、(第1燃料消費量TC1>第1燃料余剰量TS1)及び(第2燃料消費量TC2<第2燃料余剰量TS2)の両者又はいずれか一方が成立しない旨の判定が下された場合(ステップS505のNo)、発電システム11に備わる混焼制御管理装置13は、需給調整モードでの発電制御が現状では困難であるとみなして、処理の流れをステップS510へとジャンプさせる。
 一方、ステップS505の判定の結果、(第1燃料消費量TC1>第1燃料余剰量TS1)及び(第2燃料消費量TC2<第2燃料余剰量TS2)の両者が成立する旨の判定が下された場合(ステップS505のYES)、需給調整モードでの第2燃料F2のみを用いた単焼運転による発電制御が現状では可能であるとみなして、発電システム11に備わる混焼制御管理装置13は、処理の流れをステップS509へとジャンプさせる。
 ステップS506において、発電システム11に備わる混焼制御管理装置13は、需給調整モードでの混焼運転による発電制御が現状では可能であるため、当該運転点(運転態様)を運転成立点として運転実績管理部312に記憶させる。
 ステップS507において、発電システム11に備わる混焼制御管理装置13は、ステップS501に係る運転点設定処理の繰り返し回数nが所定の設定回数Nに達したか(n<N?)否かを判定する。
 ステップS507の判定の結果、運転点設定処理の繰り返し回数nが所定の設定回数Nに達していない旨の判定が下された場合(ステップS507のYes)、発電システム11に備わる混焼制御管理装置13は、処理の流れをステップS501の運転点設定処理へ戻し、当該運転点とは別の周辺運転点を探索する。
 一方、ステップS507の判定の結果、運転点設定処理の繰り返し回数nが所定の設定回数Nに達した旨の判定が下された場合(ステップS507のNo)、発電システム11に備わる混焼制御管理装置13は、高発電効率を狙った周辺運転点の探索を終了させる。
 ステップS508において、発電システム11に備わる混焼制御管理装置13は、ステップS501に係る運転点設定処理の繰り返し回数nが所定の設定回数Nに達したか(n<N?)否かを判定する。
 ステップS508の判定の結果、運転点設定処理の繰り返し回数nが所定の設定回数Nに達していない旨の判定が下された場合(ステップS508のYes)、発電システム11に備わる混焼制御管理装置13は、処理の流れをステップS501の運転点設定処理へ戻し、直近の運転点とは異なる、高発電効率を狙ったその他の周辺運転点を探索する。この場合、発電システム11に備わる混焼制御管理装置13は、第2燃料F2の割合を減少させる(第2燃料F2に注目した混焼比率Rq2を低減させる)ことにより、高発電効率を狙ったその他の周辺運転点を探索すればよい。
 ここで、第2燃料F2に注目した混焼比率Rq2を低減させるには、第2燃料消費量TC2を減らすアプローチ、第1燃料消費量TC1を増やすアプローチ、これらの組み合わせ係るアプローチ、のいずれかを適宜採用すればよい。
 一方、ステップS508の判定の結果、運転点設定処理の繰り返し回数nが所定の設定回数Nに達した旨の判定が下された場合(ステップS508のNo)、発電システム11に備わる混焼制御管理装置13は、高発電効率を狙った周辺運転点の探索を終了させる。
 ステップS509において、発電システム11に備わる混焼制御管理装置13は、ステップS501に係る運転点設定処理の繰り返し回数nが所定の設定回数Nに達したか(n<N?)否かを判定する。
 ステップS509の判定の結果、運転点設定処理の繰り返し回数nが所定の設定回数Nに達していない旨の判定が下された場合(ステップS509のYes)、発電システム11に備わる混焼制御管理装置13は、処理の流れをステップS501の運転点設定処理へ戻し、直近の運転点とは異なる、高発電効率を狙ったその他の周辺運転点を探索する。この場合、発電システム11に備わる混焼制御管理装置13は、第2燃料F2の割合を増加させる(第2燃料F2に注目した混焼比率Rq2を増大させる)ことにより、高発電効率を狙ったその他の周辺運転点を探索すればよい。
 ここで、第2燃料F2に注目した混焼比率Rq2を増大させるには、第2燃料消費量TC2を増やすアプローチ、第1燃料消費量TC1を減らすアプローチ、これらの組み合わせ係るアプローチ、のいずれかを適宜採用すればよい。
 一方、ステップS509の判定の結果、運転点設定処理の繰り返し回数nが所定の設定回数Nに達した旨の判定が下された場合(ステップS509のNo)、発電システム11に備わる混焼制御管理装置13は、高発電効率を狙った周辺運転点の探索を終了させる。
 ステップS510において、発電システム11に備わる混焼制御管理装置13は、ステップS501に係る運転点設定処理の繰り返し回数nが所定の設定回数Nに達したか(n<N?)否かを判定する。
 ステップS510の判定の結果、運転点設定処理の繰り返し回数nが所定の設定回数Nに達していない旨の判定が下された場合(ステップS510のYes)、発電システム11に備わる混焼制御管理装置13は、処理の流れをステップS501の運転点設定処理へ戻し、直近の運転点とは異なる、その他の周辺運転点を探索する。
 一方、ステップS510の判定の結果、運転点設定処理の繰り返し回数nが所定の設定回数Nに達した旨の判定が下された場合(ステップS510のNo)、発電システム11に備わる混焼制御管理装置13は、需給調整モードでの混焼発電装置15の運転は不可であるとみなして、周辺運転点の探索を終了させる。
〔本発明に係る発電システム11の構成・作用効果〕
 第1の観点に基づく発電システム11は、
 第1燃料F1及び第2燃料F2を含む2種以上の燃料を用いて発電可能なエンジン発電機21を備える発電システム11であって、
 電力需給調整用の要求発電電力量、当該要求発電電力量に関する発電に利用可能な第1燃料F1の余剰量である第1燃料余剰量TS1、当該要求発電電力量に関する発電に利用可能な第2燃料F2の余剰量である第2燃料余剰量TS2、及び、前記エンジン発電機21の運転実績を含む各種情報を取得する情報取得部13、15と、
 前記第1燃料余剰量TS1に基づく第1発電電力量、及び前記第2燃料余剰量TS2に基づく第2発電電力量をそれぞれ算出すると共に、前記第1発電電力量及び前記第2発電電力量を統合した統合発電電力量を算出する算出部13と、
 前記算出部13により算出した前記統合発電電力量と、前記情報取得部13、15により取得した前記電力需給調整用の要求発電電力量との大小関係を判定する判定部13と、
 前記情報取得部13、15により取得した前記各種情報に基づいて、当該エンジン発電機21の運転態様を設定すると共に、当該設定した運転態様を用いて当該エンジン発電機21に係る発電制御を行う制御部13、15、23と、を備え、
 前記制御部13、15、23は、前記判定部13により前記統合発電電力量が前記電力需給調整用の要求発電電力量を超える旨の判定が下された場合に、前記算出した前記統合発電電力量に基づいて、利用する燃料種の混焼比率Rq2、及び発電出力を含む電力需給調整用の運転態様を設定すると共に、当該設定した電力需給調整用の運転態様を用いて当該エンジン発電機21に係る発電制御を行う。
 第1の観点に基づく発電システム11によれば、2種以上の燃料を用いて発電可能なエンジン発電機21を備える発電システム11において、インフラ資源の有効活用を具現化することができる。
 また、第1燃料F1を用いる既設の非常用エンジン発電機21に再エネ由来の第2燃料F2を供給することで、エンジン発電機21を電力需給調整用に活用することができる。
 これにより、電力需給調整用のエンジン発電機を新たに追加する必要がないため、設備投資を小さくできる。また、再エネ由来の第2燃料F2を活用することにより、燃料総コストPtを低減すると共に、エンジン発電機から排出されるCO2排出量を低減する効果を期待することができる。
 さらに、既設の非常用エンジン発電機21を電力需給調整用に併用するすることにより、稼働率を高くすることが可能となる結果、年度毎の定期メンテナンスが不要となり(ただし、定常的なメンテナンスは必要)、燃料の劣化を抑制するという副次的な効果を期待することもできる。
 第2の観点に基づく発電システム11は、第1の観点に基づく発電システム11であって、
 前記情報取得部13、15は、前記電力需給調整用の要求発電電力量に関する発電に利用可能な第1燃料F1の余剰量である第1燃料余剰量TS1を、前記第1燃料F1に係る実残量である第1燃料残量T1から、前記電力需給調整用を除く特定用途に係る第1燃料備蓄量TE1を減算することで取得する構成を採用しても構わない。
 第2の観点に基づく発電システム11によれば、第1の観点に基づく発電システム11の作用効果に加えて、電力需給調整用を除く特定用途(例えば、停電時等の非常用)での第1燃料備蓄量TE1を用いた運転を確保しながら、電力需給調整用のエンジン発電機21の運転を遂行することができる。
 第3の観点に基づく発電システム11は、第1の観点に基づく発電システム11であって、
 前記情報取得部13、15は、前記電力需給調整用の要求発電電力量に関する発電に利用可能な第2燃料F2の余剰量である第2燃料余剰量TS2を、前記第2燃料F2に係る実残量である第2燃料残量T1から、前記電力需給調整用を除く特定用途に係る第2燃料備蓄量TE2を減算することで取得する構成を採用しても構わない。
 第3の観点に基づく発電システム11によれば、第2の観点に基づく発電システム11の作用効果に加えて、電力需給調整用を除く特定用途(例えば、停電時等の非常用)での第2燃料備蓄量TE2を用いた運転を確保しながら、電力需給調整用のエンジン発電機21の運転を遂行することができる。
 第4の観点に基づく発電システム11は、第3の観点に基づく発電システム11であって、
 前記エンジン発電機21は、複数の電源切替開閉器31、(32)、33に接続され、
 前記判定部13(305)、は、電力系統19に停電が生じたか否かをさらに判定し、
 前記制御部13、15、23は、前記判定部13(305)により前記電力系統19に停電が生じた旨の判定が下された場合に、前記複数の電源切替開閉器31、(32)、33の動作モードを停電モードに切り替えることにより、前記第1燃料備蓄量TE1及び前記第2燃料備蓄量TE1の少なくともいずれかを用いた前記エンジン発電機21の運転に基づく発電電力を電力需要家35に供給する構成を採用しても構わない。
 第4の観点に基づく発電システム11によれば、第3の観点に基づく発電システム11の作用効果に加えて、電力系統19に停電が生じた場合であっても、第1燃料備蓄量TE1及び第2燃料備蓄量TE1の少なくともいずれかを用いたエンジン発電機21の運転に基づく発電電力を電力需要家35に供給するため、停電時の盤石な電力供給体制を構築することができる。
 第5の観点に基づく発電システム11は、第3の観点に基づく発電システム11であって、
 前記エンジン発電機21は、複数の電源切替開閉器31、(32)、33に接続され、
 前記制御部13、15、23は、前記判定部13により前記統合発電電力量が前記電力需給調整用の要求発電電力量を超える旨の判定が下された場合に、前記複数の電源切替開閉器31、(32)、33の動作モードを需給調整モードに切り替えることにより、前記第1燃料余剰量TS1及び前記第2燃料余剰量TS2の少なくともいずれかを用いた前記エンジン発電機21の混焼運転に基づく発電電力を電力需要家35に供給する構成を採用しても構わない。
 第5の観点に基づく発電システム11によれば、第3の観点に基づく発電システム11の作用効果に加えて、判定部13により前記統合発電電力量が前記電力需給調整用の要求発電電力量を超える旨の判定が下された場合に、第1燃料余剰量TS1及び第2燃料余剰量TS2の少なくともいずれかを用いたエンジン発電機21の混焼運転に基づく発電電力を電力需要家35に供給するため、電力需給調整時の盤石な電力供給体制を構築することができる。
 第6の観点に基づく発電システム11は、第3の観点に基づく発電システム11であって、
 前記エンジン発電機21は、複数の電源切替開閉器31、(32)、33に接続され、
 前記制御部13、15、23は、前記判定部13により前記統合発電電力量が前記電力需給調整用の要求発電電力量を超える旨の判定が下された場合に、前記複数の電源切替開閉器31、(32)、33の動作モードを需給調整モードに切り替えることにより、前記第1燃料余剰量TS1及び前記第2燃料余剰量TS2の両者を用いた前記エンジン発電機21の混焼運転に基づく発電電力を電力需要家35に供給する構成を採用しても構わない。
 第6の観点に基づく発電システム11によれば、第3の観点に基づく発電システム11の作用効果に加えて、判定部13により前記統合発電電力量が前記電力需給調整用の要求発電電力量を超える旨の判定が下された場合に、第1燃料余剰量TS1及び第2燃料余剰量TS2の両者を用いたエンジン発電機21の混焼運転に基づく発電電力を電力需要家35に供給するため、第5の観点に基づく発電システム11と同様に、電力需給調整時の盤石な電力供給体制を構築することができる。
 ところで、電力需給調整用の要求発電電力量を賄う目的でエンジン発電機21の混焼運転を遂行するに際し、そこで用いる燃料種は、CO2排出量の低減要請に応じることが好ましい。また、電力需給調整に際し、余裕をもった電力量を発電することが好ましい。
 そこで、第7の観点に基づく発電システム11は、第6の観点に基づく発電システム11であって、
 前記制御部13、15、23は、前記電力需給調整用の運転態様を設定するに際し、前記第1燃料F1及び前記第2燃料F2に関する燃料総コストPt・CO2総排出量の少なくともいずれかが最小となるように、利用する燃料種の混焼比率Rq2、及び発電出力を含む電力需給調整用の運転態様を設定する構成を採用しても構わない。
 第7の観点に基づく発電システム11によれば、第6の観点に基づく発電システム11の作用効果に加えて、CO2排出量抑制及び発電電力量確保の両者を一挙に実現することができる。
 第8の観点に基づく発電システム11は、第6の観点に基づく発電システム11であって、
 前記制御部13、15、23は、前記電力需給調整用の運転態様を設定するに際し、前記第1燃料F1及び前記第2燃料F2に関する燃料総コストPtに所定の第1係数a1を積算した第1積算値、及び、前記第1燃料F1及び前記第2燃料F2に関するCO2総排出量に所定の第2係数a2を積算した第2積算値を統合した統合値が最小となるように、利用する燃料種の混焼比率、及び発電出力を含む電力需給調整用の運転態様を設定する構成を採用しても構わない。
 第8の観点に基づく発電システム11によれば、第7の観点に基づく発電システム11の作用効果に加えて、第1係数a1、第2係数a2を適宜の値に設定することにより、CO2排出量抑制及び発電電力量確保のレベルを適宜調整することができる。
 第9の観点に基づく発電システム11は、第3の観点に基づく発電システム11であって、
 前記エンジン発電機21は、第1電源切替開閉器31及び第2電源切替開閉器33にそれぞれ接続され、
 前記判定部13(305)、は、電力系統19に停電が生じたか否かをさらに判定し、
 前記制御部13、15、23は、前記判定部13(305)により前記電力系統19に停電が生じた旨の判定が下された場合に、当該エンジン発電機21及び前記電力系統19間の接続を遮断すると共に、当該エンジン発電機21及び電力需要家35間を接続するように、前記第1電源切替開閉器31を動作させる一方、
 前記判定部13(305)により前記電力系統19に停電が生じた旨の判定が下された場合であって、前記第1電源切替開閉器31が前記電力系統19に接続されている場合に、当該電力系統19の接続を遮断すると共に、当該エンジン発電機21及び前記電力需要家35間を接続するように、前記第2電源切替開閉器33を動作させる(図1A参照)構成を採用しても構わない。
 第9の観点に基づく発電システム11によれば、第3の観点に基づく発電システム11の作用効果に加えて、電力系統19に停電が生じた場合であっても、第1電源切替開閉器31及び第2電源切替開閉器33を適切に切替え動作させるため、停電時の盤石な電力供給体制を構築することができる。
〔その他の実施形態〕
 以上説明した実施形態及び変形例は、本発明の具現化例を示したものである。従って、これらの記載事項によって本発明の技術的範囲が限定的に解釈されることがあってはならない。本発明はその要旨又はその主要な特徴から逸脱することなく、様々な形態で実施することができるからである。
 また、ここで説明した実施形態の構成の一部を他の実施形態の構成に置き換えることは可能であり、さらには、ある実施形態の構成に他の実施形態の構成を加えることも可能である。また、各実施形態の構成の一部について、他の構成の追加、削除、置換をすることも可能である。
 さらに、制御線や情報線は説明上必要と考えられるものを示しており、製品上必ずしも全ての制御線や情報線を示しているとは限らない。実際にはほとんど全ての構成が相互に接続されていると考えても良い。
 例えば、本発明の実施形態に係る発電システム11において、第1燃料F1として、例えば、メタンやプロパンなどのガス燃料を用いる場合、第1燃料F1を第2燃料F2と予め混合しておき、インジェクタ49に代えて点火プラグを採用することにより、点火プラグによって混合気に着火すればよい。
 最後に、本発明の実施形態に係る発電システム11に備わる各構成要素、機能、処理部等は、それらの一部又は全部を、例えば集積回路で設計する等によりハードウェアで実現してもよい。また、上記の各構成要素、機能、処理部等は、プロセッサがそれぞれの機能を実現するプログラムを解釈し、実行することによりソフトウェアで実現してもよい。各機能を実現するプログラム、テーブル、ファイル等の情報は、メモリ、ハードディスク、SSD(Solid State Drive)等の記録装置、又は、ICカード、SDカード、DVD(Digital Versatile Disk)等の記録媒体に置くことができる。

Claims (9)

  1.  第1燃料及び第2燃料を含む2種以上の燃料を用いて発電可能なエンジン発電機を備える発電システムであって、
     電力需給調整用の要求発電電力量、当該要求発電電力量に関する発電に利用可能な第1燃料の余剰量である第1燃料余剰量、当該要求発電電力量に関する発電に利用可能な第2燃料の余剰量である第2燃料余剰量、及び、前記エンジン発電機の運転実績を含む各種情報を取得する情報取得部と、
     前記第1燃料余剰量に基づく第1発電電力量、及び前記第2燃料余剰量に基づく第2発電電力量をそれぞれ算出すると共に、前記第1発電電力量及び前記第2発電電力量を統合した統合発電電力量を算出する算出部と、
     前記算出部により算出した前記統合発電電力量と、前記情報取得部により取得した前記電力需給調整用の要求発電電力量との大小関係を判定する判定部と、
     前記情報取得部により取得した前記各種情報に基づいて、当該エンジン発電機の運転態様を設定すると共に、当該設定した運転態様を用いて当該エンジン発電機に係る発電制御を行う制御部と、を備え、
     前記制御部は、前記判定部により前記統合発電電力量が前記電力需給調整用の要求発電電力量を超える旨の判定が下された場合に、前記算出した前記統合発電電力量に基づいて、利用する燃料種の混焼比率、及び発電出力を含む電力需給調整用の運転態様を設定すると共に、当該設定した電力需給調整用の運転態様を用いて当該エンジン発電機に係る発電制御を行う
     ことを特徴とする発電システム。
  2.  請求項1に記載の発電システムであって、
     前記情報取得部は、前記電力需給調整用の要求発電電力量に関する発電に利用可能な第1燃料の余剰量である第1燃料余剰量を、前記第1燃料に係る実残量である第1燃料残量から、前記電力需給調整用を除く特定用途に係る第1燃料備蓄量を減算することで取得する
     ことを特徴とする発電システム。
  3.  請求項2に記載の発電システムであって、
     前記情報取得部は、前記電力需給調整用の要求発電電力量に関する発電に利用可能な第2燃料の余剰量である第2燃料余剰量を、前記第2燃料に係る実残量である第2燃料残量から、前記電力需給調整用を除く特定用途に係る第2燃料備蓄量を減算することで取得する
     ことを特徴とする発電システム。
  4.  請求項3に記載の発電システムであって、
     前記エンジン発電機は、複数の電源切替開閉器に接続され、
     前記判定部は、電力系統に停電が生じたか否かをさらに判定し、
     前記制御部は、前記判定部により前記電力系統に停電が生じた旨の判定が下された場合に、前記複数の電源切替開閉器の動作モードを停電モードに切り替えることにより、前記第1燃料備蓄量及び前記第2燃料備蓄量の少なくともいずれかを用いた前記エンジン発電機の運転に基づく発電電力を電力需要家に供給する
     ことを特徴とする発電システム。
  5.  請求項3に記載の発電システムであって、
     前記エンジン発電機は、複数の電源切替開閉器に接続され、
     前記制御部は、前記判定部により前記統合発電電力量が前記電力需給調整用の要求発電電力量を超える旨の判定が下された場合に、前記複数の電源切替開閉器の動作モードを需給調整モードに切り替えることにより、前記第1燃料余剰量及び前記第2燃料余剰量の少なくともいずれかを用いた前記エンジン発電機の混焼運転に基づく発電電力を電力需要家に供給する
     ことを特徴とする発電システム。
  6.  請求項3に記載の発電システムであって、
     前記エンジン発電機は、複数の電源切替開閉器に接続され、
     前記制御部は、前記判定部により前記統合発電電力量が前記電力需給調整用の要求発電電力量を超える旨の判定が下された場合に、前記複数の電源切替開閉器の動作モードを需給調整モードに切り替えることにより、前記第1燃料余剰量及び前記第2燃料余剰量の両者を用いた前記エンジン発電機の混焼運転に基づく発電電力を電力需要家に供給する
     ことを特徴とする発電システム。
  7.  請求項6に記載の発電システムであって、
     前記制御部は、前記電力需給調整用の運転態様を設定するに際し、前記第1燃料及び前記第2燃料に関する燃料総コスト・CO2総排出量の少なくともいずれかが最小となるように、利用する燃料種の混焼比率、及び発電出力を含む電力需給調整用の運転態様を設定する
     ことを特徴とする発電システム。
  8.  請求項6に記載の発電システムであって、
     前記制御部は、前記電力需給調整用の運転態様を設定するに際し、前記第1燃料及び前記第2燃料に関する燃料総コストに所定の第1係数を積算した第1積算値、及び、前記第1燃料及び前記第2燃料に関するCO2排出量に所定の第2係数を積算した第2積算値を統合した統合値が最小となるように、利用する燃料種の混焼比率、及び発電出力を含む電力需給調整用の運転態様を設定する
     ことを特徴とする発電システム。
  9.  請求項3に記載の発電システムであって、
     前記エンジン発電機は、第1電源切替開閉器及び第2電源切替開閉器にそれぞれ接続され、
     前記判定部は、電力系統に停電が生じたか否かをさらに判定し、
     前記制御部は、
     前記判定部により前記電力系統に停電が生じた旨の判定が下された場合に、当該エンジン発電機及び前記電力系統間の接続を遮断すると共に、当該エンジン発電機及び電力需要家間を接続するように、前記第1電源切替開閉器を動作させる一方、
     前記判定部により前記電力系統に停電が生じた旨の判定が下された場合であって、前記第1電源切替開閉器が前記電力系統に接続されている場合に、当該電力系統の接続を遮断すると共に、当該エンジン発電機及び前記電力需要家間を接続するように、前記第2電源切替開閉器を動作させる
     ことを特徴とする発電システム。
