Definitions
- the present invention relates to a pants-type absorbent article.
- the crotch area of an absorbent article equipped with such crotch elastic members has seams in the material or if the crotch elastic members, which are not normally found in underwear, are visible, the user (wearer) will be more likely to notice the difference from underwear, which could cause discomfort. Furthermore, the wearer will be more likely to realize that they are wearing a diaper rather than underwear, which could cause psychological stress.
- the present invention was made in consideration of the above-mentioned problems, and its purpose is to provide a pants-type absorbent article that has crotch elastic members but looks like underwear.
- the main invention for achieving the above object is a pants-type absorbent article having, in an unfolded and stretched state, longitudinal, left-right, and thickness directions that intersect with one another, an absorbent main body having an absorbent core, and a waistband member having a front waistband and a rear waistband, the front waistband and the rear waistband being joined to each other at both ends in the left-right direction by a pair of side joining parts, the article having crotch elastic members that are located closer to the skin than the absorbent core and stretch along the longitudinal direction, the waistband member having waist elastic members that stretch in the left-right direction, covering the crotch elastic members from the far side and positioned closest to the skin at a central position in the longitudinal direction, a crotch sheet that is continuous in the longitudinal direction between the rear end of the side joint provided in the front waistline portion and the front end of the side joint provided in the rear waistline portion, and a crotch layer that contacts the crotch elastic member from the non-skin side in the thickness direction and
- the present invention makes it possible to provide a pants-type absorbent article that has crotch elastic members and looks like underwear.
- FIG. 1 is a front view of a pants-type disposable diaper 1 as seen from the ventral side.
- 1 is a plan view of a pants-type disposable diaper 1 in an unfolded and stretched state.
- 3 is a schematic cross-sectional view of the pants-type disposable diaper 1 taken along the line CC in FIG. 2.
- FIG. Fig. 4A is a plan view of the absorbent main body 10 as seen from the skin side.
- Fig. 4B is a schematic cross-sectional view of the absorbent main body 10 at a central position CL in the longitudinal direction.
- 1 is a diagram schematically illustrating a cross-sectional state of a pants-type diaper 1 as viewed from one side in the left-right direction.
- a crotch layer that contacts the crotch elastic member from the non-skin side in the thickness direction and constitutes at least a part of the non-skin side of the pants-type absorbent article
- a waist layer that contacts the waist elastic member from the non-skin side in the thickness direction and constitutes at least a part of the non-skin side of the pants-type absorbent article
- the crotch sheet is continuous in the longitudinal direction between the rear end of the side joint portion provided in the front waist portion and the front end of the side joint portion provided in the rear waist portion
- the pants-type absorbent article has a waist layer that contacts the waist elastic member from the non-skin side in the thickness direction and constitutes at least a part of the non-skin side of the pants-type absorbent article
- a pants-type absorbent article according to aspect 1 or 2 which has a crotch elastic region defined by the crotch elastic member, and the width of the crotch elastic region in the left-right direction is smaller than the distance between the most one end of the crotch elastic region and the most one end of the absorbent core.
- the crotch sheet located closest to the skin of the crotch layer and the color of the crotch elastic member are similar, when the two are stacked in the thickness direction and viewed from the non-skin side, it is difficult to distinguish the difference between the color of the crotch elastic member and the color of the crotch sheet, making it difficult for the user to recognize the crotch elastic member located closer to the skin than the crotch sheet. This makes the crotch elastic member less noticeable, giving the article an appearance that resembles underwear.
- gaps in the adhesive applied linearly in an ⁇ pattern or spiral pattern at the main body joint that joins the absorbent main body and the waistband member may form areas where no adhesive is applied.
- the sheet members stacked in the thickness direction are less likely to adhere to each other, and the light transmittance is likely to be lower than when they are in close contact. Therefore, the crotch elastic members are less visible, making the appearance more likely to resemble underwear.
- a pants-type absorbent article according to any one of Aspects 1 to 5, wherein the sheet member arranged on the furthest side of the absorbent main body away from the skin is discontinuous between a central portion and both side portions in the left-right direction.
- a pants-type absorbent article according to any one of aspects 1 to 6, wherein the width of the sheet member that is arranged closest to the skin side of the absorbent main body and that overlaps with the crotch elastic member at the central portion in the left-right direction is smaller than the maximum width of the absorbent core.
- wrinkles may form in the central sheet (elastic member cover sheet) due to contraction of the crotch elastic members, and the wider the central sheet, the more likely it is that larger wrinkles will form.
- the width of the central sheet narrower than at least the maximum width of the absorbent core, it is possible to prevent excessively large wrinkles from forming in the central sheet. Therefore, wrinkles that form in the crotch area when worn are less noticeable, making the article appear more like underwear.
- a pants-type absorbent article according to any one of aspects 1 to 7, wherein the width of the sheet member that is arranged closest to the skin side of the absorbent main body and that overlaps with the crotch elastic member at the central portion in the left-right direction is smaller than the minimum width of the absorbent core.
- a pants-type absorbent article according to any one of aspects 1 to 8, wherein, of the sheet members arranged on the farthest side of the absorbent main body, the sheet member overlapping with the crotch elastic member in the central portion in the left-right direction has portions at both ends in the left-right direction where no adhesive is provided.
- the dry edges on both sides prevent the effects of the wrinkles from being transmitted outward in the lateral direction. This prevents the range of wrinkles formed in the waistband member from spreading laterally, making the wrinkles less noticeable in the crotch area. This makes the product appear more like underwear when worn.
- the stretching force of the crotch elastic members in the longitudinal direction and the stretching force of the waist elastic members in the left-right direction are less likely to interfere with each other, making it easier for the stretching force of the crotch elastic members to act in the crotch area.
- This makes it easier for the absorbent main body to deform convexly toward the skin, further improving the fit when worn.
- the stretching force in the longitudinal direction and the stretching force in the left-right direction are less likely to interfere with each other in the crotch area, irregular wrinkles are less likely to form, making the article more likely to look like underwear.
- a pants-type absorbent article according to any one of Aspects 1 to 10, wherein the absorbent core does not have a low basis weight region in the central portion in the left-right direction, the low basis weight region having a basis weight lower than that of other regions.
- the absorbent core does not have a low basis weight region in the left-right central portion, which makes it easier for the stretching force of the crotch elastic members to act uniformly, and the absorbent core is more likely to undergo a clean convex deformation. This further improves the fit when worn.
- a pants-type absorbent article according to any one of aspects 1 to 11, wherein the sheet member arranged adjacent to the skin side of the crotch elastic member and the sheet member arranged furthest from the skin side have a portion that is not joined in the thickness direction.
- the sheet (back sheet) arranged adjacent to the skin side of the crotch elastic member in the thickness direction and the sheet (inner layer sheet) arranged on the non-skin side have portions that are not joined to each other, which prevents wrinkles formed in the skin side sheet from being transmitted to the non-skin side sheet. This makes it less likely for wrinkles to form in the sheet arranged on the non-skin side (waist member).
- a pants-type absorbent article according to any one of aspects 1 to 12, wherein the average basis weight of a first sheet member provided on the non-skin side of the crotch elastic member in the thickness direction is different from the average basis weight of a second sheet member provided on the non-skin side of the first sheet member.
- sheet members with different basis weights often have different stiffness and thickness, and are likely to have different susceptibility to wrinkle formation. Therefore, by stacking a first sheet member and a second sheet member with different basis weights in the thickness direction, it is possible to easily prevent wrinkles formed in the first sheet member from being directly transmitted to the second sheet member. Furthermore, when a sheet member with a larger basis weight is provided on the non-skin side, the crotch elastic member provided on the skin side becomes less visible when viewed from the non-skin side. This makes it easier to make the appearance look like underwear.
- Aspect 14 The pants-type absorbent article according to any one of Aspects 1 to 13, wherein the fiber orientation direction of the first sheet member and the fiber orientation direction of the second sheet member intersect with each other.
- the stretchability of the first sheet member along the longitudinal direction is likely to differ from the stretchability of the second sheet member along the longitudinal direction, and even if wrinkles form in the first sheet member, the likelihood of the formed wrinkles being transmitted directly to the second sheet member can be reduced. Furthermore, since the light transmittance tends to be lower in areas where multiple fibers intersect compared to when the fibers are arranged parallel to each other, it becomes difficult to see the crotch elastic members through the first and second sheet members, making the crotch elastic members less noticeable. This makes it easier for the article to appear more like underwear.
- a pair of longitudinally extending leakage prevention walls 60 are provided on both left and right sides of the absorbent body 10. As shown in Figure 4B, portions of the side sheets 16 extending from both left and right sides of the non-skin side of the back sheet 13 are folded at multiple locations and provided on both left and right sides of the skin side of the top sheet 12 to form the leakage prevention walls 60.
- a leakage prevention wall elastic member 61 e.g., rubber thread
- the absorbent body 10 also has a longitudinally stretchable crotch elastic member 40 in the left-right center and on the non-skin side of the absorbent core 11 in the thickness direction.
- the crotch elastic member 40 in this embodiment is attached in a stretched state along the longitudinal direction between the back sheet 13, which is provided on the non-skin side of the absorbent core 11 in the thickness direction, and the elastic member cover sheet 17, which is provided on the non-skin side of the back sheet 13.
- the crotch elastic member 40 only needs to be provided on the non-skin side of the absorbent core 11; for example, it may be provided between the core wrap sheet 18 (absorbent core 11) and the back sheet 13 on the non-skin side of the absorbent core 11.
- crotch elastic members 41-45 are arranged longitudinally at intervals in the left-right direction in the center of the absorbent body 10 (absorbent core 11).
- the area defined by these five crotch elastic members 40 (41-45) will also be referred to as the "crotch elastic region ER.”
- the area surrounded by the crotch elastic member 41 arranged on the extreme left-right side and the crotch elastic member 45 arranged on the extreme other side is the crotch elastic region ER.
- the number and arrangement of the crotch elastic members 40 are not limited to this.
- the waistband member 20 (outer member 20) is a sheet member having a shape in which the longitudinal center portion is constricted inward in the left-right direction. As shown in Figures 2 and 3, the waistband member 20 has a ventral outer layer sheet 21, a dorsal outer layer sheet 22, an inner layer sheet 23, waistband elastic members 24 and 25, and a buttocks elastic member 26.
- the ventral outer layer sheet 21, the back outer layer sheet 22, and the inner layer sheet 23 can be exemplified by flexible sheet materials such as nonwoven fabrics.
- the inner layer sheet 23 forms the outer shape of the waistband member 20 and is a continuous sheet member from the front side (ventral side) to the back side (dorsal side) in the longitudinal direction.
- the ventral outer layer sheet 21 is located closer to the skin than the inner layer sheet 23 and in part of the front waistband portion 20f.
- the ventral outer layer sheet 21 overlaps with the side joint portion 5 in the longitudinal direction and has the same longitudinal length as the side joint portion 5 (see Figure 2).
- the back outer layer sheet 22 is located closer to the skin than the inner layer sheet 23 and in part of the rear waistband portion 20b.
- the waist elastic members 24, 25 and buttocks elastic member 26 are elastic members that stretch in the left-right direction, and examples thereof include rubber thread. As shown in FIG. 2, the waist elastic members 24, 25 overlap the side joints 5 in the longitudinal direction.
- the waist elastic member located in the front waistline portion 20f may also be referred to as the ventral waistline elastic member 24, and the waist elastic member 25 located in the rear waistline portion 20b may also be referred to as the dorsal waistline elastic member 25.
- the buttocks elastic member 26 is located on the crotch side in the longitudinal direction (lower in the up-down direction) than the side joints 5. In this embodiment, there are two buttocks elastic members 26, but this number is not particularly limited.
- the buttocks elastic members 26 are cut in the center in the left-right direction and are positioned so as not to overlap with the absorbent core 11. This prevents the absorbent core 11 from contracting in the left-right direction due to the stretchability of the buttocks elastic members 26. Therefore, when the diaper 1 is worn, the absorbent core 11 can be brought into contact with the wearer's buttocks over a wide area, making it easier to achieve good fit and absorbency.
- the buttocks elastic members 26 do not necessarily have to be cut in the center, and may be provided continuously from one end to the other in the left-right direction.
- the diaper 1 of this embodiment improves the fit around the crotch area of the wearer by providing the crotch elastic member 40 (crotch elastic region ER) in the left-right central portion of the absorbent main body 10. That is, when the stretching force of the crotch elastic member 40 (crotch elastic region ER) in the longitudinal direction acts on the absorbent core 11, the left-right central portion of the absorbent core 11 is lifted toward the skin and deformed into a convex shape, which is pushed up against the wearer's crotch area (excretory opening such as the vagina) and improves the fit.
- crotch elastic member 40 crotch elastic region ER
- FIG. 5 is a schematic diagram showing the cross section of the diaper 1 in a pants-type state when viewed from one side in the left-right direction.
- the diaper 1 has a structure in which the waistline member 20 is layered on the non-skin side of the absorbent main body 10.
- the absorbent main body 10 and waistline member 20 are folded in half at the center position CL in the longitudinal direction, and the front waistline portion 20f and the rear waistline portion 20b, which are folded in the thickness direction (the front-to-back direction in Figure 5), are joined at both left-to-right ends by a pair of side joining portions 5 to form the pants-type state.
- the step formed by the laminated sheet members is minimized, making the step less noticeable when viewed from the outside (non-skin side). This results in a more underwear-like appearance.
- the width Wa of the crotch elastic region ER is preferably smaller than the distance Wb between one end of the crotch elastic region ER and one end of the absorbent core 11 (see Figure 4A).
- the distance Wb were smaller than the width Wa of the crotch elastic region ER, the left-right central portion of the absorbent core 11 (the region where the crotch elastic region ER is provided) would be less likely to stand up sufficiently toward the skin, which could result in a poor fit around the excretory opening.
- the color of the sheet member (the sheet member corresponding to the crotch sheet described above) provided closest to the skin of the crotch layer CA and the color of the crotch elastic member 40 are similar colors.
- similar colors simply mean that the sheet member and crotch elastic member 40 being compared can be judged to be the same color when visually inspected by a user.
- similar colors refer to a range where the color difference ⁇ E is less than 13 when measured using a Konica Minolta color difference meter CR-300 or equivalent, or a range where the deviation on a 24-color color chart classified according to the Ostwald color wheel is 1 or less.
- the main body joint 70 is provided over almost the entire area of the absorbent main body 10 (absorbent core 11). Meanwhile, in the area inside the outline of the main body joint 70 shown by the diagonal lines in Figure 6, and on both sides of the crotch elastic region ER, blank areas where no adhesive is provided are formed. These areas where no adhesive is provided are referred to as non-existent areas 75. In other words, the diaper 1 has areas where the absorbent main body 10 and the waist member 20 are not joined to each other (non-existent areas 75).
- the sheet member (inner layer sheet 23) closest to the skin has the non-existent area 75.
- the inner layer sheet 23, which constitutes the layer closest to the skin of the waistband member 20, and the absorbent main body 10, which is provided adjacent to that layer on the skin side, are not joined to each other at the non-existent portion 75.
- the side sheet 16 and the elastic member cover sheet 17, which are located closest to the skin among the sheet components constituting the absorbent main body 10, are independent sheet components.
- the sheet component located closest to the skin of the absorbent main body 10 is discontinuous between the elastic member cover sheet 17 located in the left-right center and the side sheets 16 located on both sides.
- the crotch elastic region ER crotch elastic member 40
- wrinkles may form in the elastic member cover sheet 17, which is laminated on the non-skin side of the crotch elastic member 40 in the left-right center.
- the side sheets 16 located on both left-right sides of the elastic member cover sheet 17 are discontinuous with the elastic member cover sheet 17, even if wrinkles form in the elastic member cover sheet 17, the effect of the wrinkles is less likely to be transmitted from the elastic member cover sheet 17 to the side sheets 16.
- wrinkles that occur in the crotch area when the diaper 1 is worn are less noticeable, making the appearance of the diaper 1 more likely to resemble underwear.
- the width W17 of the elastic member cover sheet 17 is preferably smaller than the maximum width W11m of the absorbent core 11 (see Figure 4A).
- wrinkles may form in the elastic member cover sheet 17 due to contraction of the crotch elastic region ER (crotch elastic member 40), and the larger the width W17 of the elastic member cover sheet 17, the more likely it is that larger wrinkles will form. Therefore, by making the width W17 of the elastic member cover sheet 17 narrower than at least the maximum width W11m of the absorbent core 11, it is possible to prevent excessively large wrinkles from forming in the elastic member cover sheet 17. This makes wrinkles that form in the crotch area when the diaper 1 is worn less noticeable, making the appearance of the diaper 1 more likely to resemble underwear.
- the width W17 of the elastic member cover sheet 17 narrower than the minimum width W11s of the absorbent core 11, it is possible to more easily prevent large wrinkles from forming in the elastic member cover sheet 17. This makes wrinkles that occur in the crotch area when the diaper 1 is worn less noticeable, making the diaper 1 appear more like underwear.
- the backsheet 13 and the elastic member cover sheet 17 are bonded to each other via an adhesive applied to the surface of the crotch elastic member 40. Therefore, when the crotch elastic region ER contracts along the longitudinal direction, wrinkles are likely to form not only on the non-skin-side elastic member cover sheet 17 but also on the skin-side backsheet 13. Meanwhile, the backsheet 13 and the inner layer sheet 23 on the non-skin-side have portions (absent portions 75) where they are not bonded to each other in the thickness direction, which prevents wrinkles formed in the backsheet 13 from being transmitted to the non-skin-side inner layer sheet 23. This makes it difficult for wrinkles to form in the waistband member 20 (inner layer sheet 23), at least at the longitudinal center position CL.
- the two are less likely to come into close contact with each other in the thickness direction. Therefore, compared to when the back sheet 13 and the inner sheet 23 are in close contact in the thickness direction, the crotch elastic members 40 sandwiched between the two sheet members are less noticeable. This allows the diaper 1 to look like underwear when worn.
- the diaper 1 also has at least two sheet members on the non-skin side of the crotch elastic member 40 (crotch elastic region ER) in the thickness direction.
- an elastic member cover sheet 17 (referred to as the first sheet member) is provided adjacent to the non-skin side of the crotch elastic member 40, and an inner layer sheet 23 (referred to as the second sheet member) is further provided on the non-skin side of the elastic member cover sheet 17.
- Basis weight (g/ m2 ) is an index indicating weight per unit area.
- Sheet members with different basis weights often have different stiffnesses and thicknesses, and are therefore likely to wrinkle differently. Therefore, by stacking a first sheet member (skin side) and a second sheet member (non-skin side) with different basis weights in the thickness direction, it is possible to more easily prevent wrinkles formed in the first sheet member from being directly transmitted to the second sheet member. For example, even if wrinkles are formed in the skin-side elastic member cover sheet 17 (first sheet member) when the crotch elastic member 40 of the diaper 1 contracts, it is possible to reduce the likelihood of the formed wrinkles being directly transmitted to the non-skin-side inner layer sheet 23 (second sheet member). This makes wrinkles less noticeable in the crotch area, making the appearance of the diaper 1 more likely to resemble underwear.
- the basis weight of the second sheet member on the non-skin side is greater than the basis weight of the first sheet member on the skin side.
- sheet members with a higher basis weight tend to be more rigid than sheet members with a lower basis weight, so by placing a sheet member with a higher basis weight on the non-skin side, it becomes easier to prevent large wrinkles from forming on the non-skin side.
- the crotch elastic member 40 on the skin side becomes less visible when the diaper 1 is viewed from the non-skin side. This makes it easier for the appearance of the diaper 1 to resemble underwear.
- the fiber orientation direction of the first sheet member (elastic member cover sheet 17) and the fiber orientation direction of the second sheet member (inner layer sheet 23) intersect with each other.
- the fiber orientation direction of the first sheet member (elastic member cover sheet 17) is along the longitudinal direction
- the fiber orientation direction of the second sheet member (inner layer sheet 23) is along the left-right direction, so they intersect with each other.
- the stretchability of the first sheet member along the longitudinal direction is likely to differ from the stretchability of the second sheet member along the longitudinal direction, and the likelihood of wrinkle formation when the crotch elastic region ER contracts along the longitudinal direction is also likely to differ.
- the diaper 1 when viewed in the thickness direction, the diaper 1 may have a portion of the main body joint 70 where it overlaps with the crotch elastic member 40 where no adhesive is provided.
- the main body joint 70 is provided in the region overlapping with the crotch elastic member 40.
- the main body joint 70 is formed by applying an adhesive such as a hot melt adhesive in an ⁇ pattern or a spiral pattern.
- portions where no adhesive is provided may be formed in the gaps between the linearly applied adhesive.
- the sheet members (the elastic member cover sheet 17 and the inner layer sheet 23) stacked in the thickness direction are less likely to adhere to each other, and therefore the light transmittance is likely to be lower than when they are in close contact. Therefore, the crotch elastic member 40 is less visible, making the appearance of the diaper 1 more likely to resemble underwear.
- the diaper 1 when the diaper 1 is viewed in the thickness direction, there are no intersections between the waist elastic members 24, 25 and buttocks elastic members 26 (left-right elastic members) and the crotch elastic member 40.
- the longitudinal stretching force of the crotch elastic member 40 and the lateral stretching force of the waist elastic members 24, 25 and buttocks elastic member 26 are less likely to interfere with each other, making it easier for the stretching force of the crotch elastic member 40 to act in the crotch area. This makes it easier for the absorbent body 10 to deform convexly against the skin, further improving the fit of the diaper 1 when worn.
- the longitudinal stretching force and the lateral stretching force are less likely to interfere with each other in the crotch area, irregular wrinkles are less likely to form, making the diaper 1 appear more like underwear.
- the absorbent core 11 of the diaper 1 does not have a region (low basis weight region) in the left-right center where the basis weight is lower than other regions.
- low basis weight regions such as slits are sometimes provided to partially weaken the rigidity of the absorbent core so that it is easier for the absorbent core to undergo three-dimensional deformation in accordance with the contours of the wearer's body.
- any of the multiple sheet members constituting the crotch layer CA may have letters or images in the area overlapping with the crotch elastic member 40 when viewed in the thickness direction.
- images include designs, patterns, etc.
- Figure 8A is a diagram showing an example of a diaper 1 having letters on the crotch layer CA.
- Figure 8B is a diagram showing an example of a diaper 1 having an image on the crotch layer CA.
- letters 91 are printed on the crotch sheet (inner layer sheet 23) in a position overlapping with the crotch elastic member 40.
- FIG. 9 shows a plan view and a cross-sectional view of a modified diaper 1 in an unfolded and stretched state.
- the arrangement of the multiple crotch elastic members 40 (41-45) constituting the crotch elastic region ER differs from that of the above-described embodiment.
- the multiple crotch elastic members 40 (41-45) are located closer to the skin than the absorbent core 11 (core wrap sheet 18, not shown in FIG. 9 ) and closer to the skin than the backsheet 13 in the thickness direction.
- the modified diaper 1 does not include an elastic member cover sheet 17. The rest of the configuration is the same as that of the diaper 1 described above.
- the seams of the materials and the crotch elastic members 40 are less visible in the crotch area, making it possible to achieve an underwear-like appearance while improving the fit in the crotch area.
- the crotch layer CA is composed of three sheet layers: an elastic member cover sheet 17 located closer to the skin than the crotch elastic member 40, an inner layer sheet 23, and an outer layer sheet 27.
- the crotch sheet (outer layer sheet 27) located closest to the skin of the crotch layer CA is continuous in the longitudinal direction from the lower end 5feb of the front side joint 5 to the lower end 5beb of the rear side joint 5, and does not have any unnecessary seams.
- the light transmittance of the crotch layer CA is lower than that of the waist layer WA. Therefore, the seams of the materials and the crotch elastic member 40 are less visible in the crotch area of the diaper 2, improving the fit in the crotch area while achieving an underwear-like appearance.
- the absorbent main body 10 of diaper 3 has multiple crotch elastic members 40 stretched in the longitudinal direction on the non-skin side of the absorbent core 11 in the thickness direction and on the skin side of the backsheet 13, and these multiple crotch elastic members 40 define a crotch elastic region ER.
- the side sheet 16 is continuous from one side to the other in the left-right direction (see the A3-A3 cross-sectional view of Figure 11), and a single side sheet 16 forms the leakage prevention wall portions 60 on both the left and right sides.
- the rest of the configuration is substantially the same as that of the absorbent main body 10 of diaper 1.
- the front waistband portion 20f of the diaper 3 comprises a ventral outer layer sheet 21, a ventral inner layer sheet 23f disposed on the skin side of the ventral outer layer sheet 21 and having substantially the same shape as the ventral outer layer sheet 21, and a plurality of waistband elastic members 24 disposed between the ventral outer layer sheet 21 and the ventral inner layer sheet 23f.
- the rear waistband portion 20b of the diaper 3 comprises a dorsal outer layer sheet 22, a dorsal inner layer sheet 23b disposed on the skin side of the dorsal outer layer sheet 22 and having substantially the same shape as the dorsal outer layer sheet 22, and a plurality of waistband elastic members 25 and buttocks elastic members 26 disposed between the dorsal outer layer sheet 22 and the dorsal inner layer sheet 23b.
- the crotch layer CA is composed of two sheet layers: a back sheet 13, which is located closer to the skin than the crotch elastic member 40, and a side sheet 16.
- the crotch sheet (side sheet 16) which is located closest to the skin of the crotch layer CA, is continuous in the longitudinal direction from the lower end 5feb of the side joint 5 in the front waistline 20f to the lower end 5beb of the side joint 5 in the rear waistline 20b, and does not have any unnecessary seams.
- the light transmittance of the crotch layer CA is lower than that of the waistline layer WA. Therefore, the seams of the materials and the crotch elastic member 40 are less visible in the crotch area of the diaper 3, making it possible to achieve an underwear-like appearance while improving fit in the crotch area.

Description

Abs
Medium
