Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a cured material for a lithium ion secondary battery, a negative electrode for a lithium ion secondary battery, and a lithium ion secondary battery.
  • Lithium-ion secondary batteries are also widely used as a power source for mobile devices such as mobile phones and laptops, as well as hybrid cars.
  • the capacity of a lithium-ion secondary battery depends primarily on the active material of the electrodes.
  • Graphite is generally used as the negative electrode active material, but there is a demand for negative electrode active materials with higher capacities. For this reason, silicon (Si), which has a theoretical capacity far greater than that of graphite (372 mAh/g), is attracting attention.
  • Negative electrode active materials containing Si undergo significant volume expansion during charging. This volume expansion of the negative electrode active material can cause a decrease in the battery's cycle characteristics. When the negative electrode active material expands in volume, it can cause, for example, cracks to form in the negative electrode active material, peeling at the interface between the negative electrode active material layer and the current collector, or cracks to form in the SEI (Solid Electrolyte Interphase) film (SEI coating, SEI film), leading to decomposition of the electrolyte. These can reduce the battery's cycle characteristics.

  • Whether a polymer is "water-soluble” can be determined by the following procedure. First, a mixture is prepared by adding 1 part by weight of polymer (equivalent to solids) to 100 parts by weight of ion-exchanged water and stirring. This mixture is adjusted to a temperature of 20°C to 95°C and a pH of 3 to 12 (pH is adjusted using aqueous NaOH and/or HCl). Next, this mixture is passed through a 250-mesh screen. Note that even if the mixture of the polymer and water is in an emulsion state that separates into two phases when left to stand, the polymer is still water-soluble if it meets the above definition.

Description

<正極>
<負極>
この混合物を、温度20℃~95℃、pH3~pH12(pH調整にはNaOH水溶液及び/又はHCl水溶液を使用する)の範囲内の一条件に調整する。
<電解液>
電解塩は、例えば、LiPF6、LiClO4、LiBF4、LiCF3SO3、LiCF3CF2SO3、LiC(CF3SO2)3、LiN(CF3SO2)2、LiN(CF3CF2SO2)2、LiN(CF3SO2)(C4F9SO2)、LiN(CF3CF2CO)2、LiBOB、LiN(FSO2)2等である。
<外装体>
<端子>
