본 출원은 2023년 10월 5일자로 출원된 대한민국 특허출원 제10-2023-0132850 호에 기초한 우선권의 이익을 주장하며, 해당 특허출원의 문헌에 개시된 모든 내용을 본 명세서의 일부로서 포함한다.

본 문서에 개시된 실시예들은 데이터 처리 장치 및 그것의 동작 방법에 관한 것이다.
최근 이차 전지에 대한 연구 개발이 활발히 이루어지고 있다. 여기서 이차 전지는 충방전이 가능한 전지로서, 종래의 Ni/Cd 배터리, Ni/MH 배터리 등과 최근의 리튬 이온 배터리를 모두 포함하는 의미이다. 이차 전지 중 리튬 이온 배터리는 종래의 Ni/Cd 배터리, Ni/MH 배터리 등에 비하여 에너지 밀도가 훨씬 높다는 장점이 있다, 또한, 리튬 이온 배터리는 소형, 경량으로 제작할 수 있어 이동 기기의 전원으로 사용되며, 최근에는 전기 자동차의 전원으로 사용 범위가 확장되어 차세대 에너지 저장 매체로 주목을 받고 있다.
또한, 최근 이차 전지 기술의 개발과 함께, 이차 전지 설비의 운용 효율을 높이고, 공정 불량없이 배터리 제품을 생산하기 위한 배터리 설비 관리 시스템의 개발이 꾸준하게 진행되고 있다.
따라서, 배터리 팩으로부터 수집되는 다양한 데이터 또는 배터리 설비 관리 시스템으로부터 수집되는 다양한 데이터를 수집하는 데이터 처리 장치를 모니터링하고 관리할 필요성이 부각된다. 데이터 처리 장치는 IO-Link 프로토콜을 이용해 데이터를 수집하고 처리할 수 있다. 여기서, IO-Link 시스템은 IO-Link 마스터와 하나 이상의 IO-Link 장치(예: 센서 또는 액추에이터)를 포함하며, IO-Link 프로토콜을 이용해 통신을 수행할 수 있다. 또한, IO-Link 마스터는 상위 컨트롤러(PLC)에 대한 인터페이스를 제공하고 연결된 IO-Link 장치와의 통신을 제어할 수 있다.

실시예에 따르면, 상위 제어기(400)는 정상 상태의 데이터 처리 장치(예: 100)로부터 다른 데이터 처리 장치(예: 200, 300)의 고장 여부를 수신할 수 있다. 예를 들어, 제2 데이터 처리 장치(200)가 고장 상태인 경우 제2 데이터 처리 장치(200)의 제2 컨트롤러(220)는 정상적으로 동작하지 못하므로 제2 컨트롤러(220)는 상위 제어기(400)에 자신의 고장 상태 및 제2 배터리 데이터(D2)를 송신하지 못할 수 있다. 이 경우, 정상 상태의 제1 데이터 처리 장치(100)의 컨트롤러(120)는 제2 컨트롤러(220) 대신 제2 데이터 처리 장치(200)의 고장 여부 및 제2 배터리 데이터(D2)를 상위 제어기(400)로 송신할 수 있다. 따라서, 상위 제어기(400)는 정상 상태의 제1 데이터 처리 장치(100)로부터 제2 데이터 처리 장치(200)의 고장 여부를 수신하고, 제2 데이터 처리 장치(200)가 고장 상태임을 확인할 수 있다.
실시예에 따르면, 상위 제어기(400)는 고장 상태의 데이터 처리 장치를 확인하고, 사용자에게 안내할 수 있다. 예를 들어, 상위 제어기(400)는 고장이 발생한 데이터 처리 장치의 식별 번호를 기초로 어떤 데이터 처리 장치가 고장 상태인지 확인할 수 있다. 상위 제어기(400)는, 식별 번호를 통해 데이터 처리 장치의 위치 정보, 고장 유형 정보 및 스펙 정보 등과 관련된 정보를 확인할 수 있다.
실시예에 따르면, 상위 제어기(400)는 고장 상태의 데이터 처리 장치에 대한 정보를 사용자에게 제공할 수 있다. 예를 들어, 상위 제어기(400)는 고장이 발생한 데이터 처리 장치의 식별 번호, 데이터 처리 장치의 위치 정보, 고장 유형 정보 및 스펙 정보 중 적어도 하나를 사용자에게 안내할 수 있다. 실시예에 따르면, 상위 제어기(400)는 통신부(미도시)를 통해 사용자 기기(단말, PC 등)로 비정상 데이터 처리 장치에 대한 정보를 제공할 수 있음은 물론, 차량 또는 충전기 등에 구비된 디스플레이를 통해 비정상 데이터 처리 장치에 대한 정보를 제공할 수 있을 것이다.
따라서, 사용자는 고장 상태의 데이터 처리 장치를 신속하게 파악하고 수리할 수 있다. 이를 통해, 사용자는 데이터 처리 시스템(1000)을 신속하게 유지 및 보수할 수 있다.
도 4는 본 문서에 개시된 일 실시예에 따른 데이터 처리 장치의 동작 흐름도이다.
도 4를 참조하면, 제1 데이터 처리 장치(100)의 동작은 제1 통신회로로부터 제1 데이터를 수신하는 단계(S101), 상기 제1 데이터를 상위 제어기로 송신하는 단계(S102), 및 다른 데이터 처리 장치에 포함된 제2 컨트롤러로부터 건전성 확인 데이터가 수신되는지 여부에 기초하여, 상기 다른 데이터 처리 장치에 포함된 제2 통신회로로부터 제2 데이터를 수신하여 상기 제2 데이터를 상기 상위 제어기로 송신할지 여부를 결정하는 단계(S103)를 포함할 수 있다.
S101 단계에서, 제1 데이터 처리 장치(100)의 제1 컨트롤러(120)는 제1 통신회로(110)로부터 제1 데이터(D1)를 수신할 수 있다(S101).
S102 단계에서, 제1 컨트롤러(120)는 상기 제1 데이터(D1)를 상위 제어기(400)로 송신할 수 있다(S102).
S103 단계에서, 제1 컨트롤러(120)는 다른 데이터 처리 장치(예: 200)에 포함된 제2 컨트롤러(220)로부터 건전성 확인 데이터(H2)가 수신되는지 여부에 기초하여, 상기 다른 데이터 처리 장치(200)에 포함된 제2 통신회로(210)로부터 제2 데이터(D2)를 수신하여 상기 제2 데이터(D2)를 상기 상위 제어기(400)로 송신할지 여부를 결정할 수 있다(S103). 여기서, 제1 컨트롤러(120)는 제2 통신회로(210)로부터 직접 제2 데이터(D2)를 수신할 수 있다.

S201 단계에서, 제1 데이터 처리 장치(100)의 제1 컨트롤러(120)는 다른 데이터 처리 장치(예: 200)의 제2 컨트롤러(220)로부터 상기 건전성 확인 데이터(H2)의 수신 여부를 확인할 수 있다(S201). 실시예에 따르면, 제1 컨트롤러(120)가 상기 건전성 확인 데이터(H2)를 수신한 경우, 제1 컨트롤러(120)는 상기 다른 데이터 처리 장치(200)가 정상 상태인 것으로 판단할 수 있다. 따라서, 제1 컨트롤러(120)는 제2 컨트롤러(220)로부터 건전성 확인 데이터(H2)의 수신 여부를 미리 정해진 시간 간격으로 확인할 수 있다.
S202 단계에서, 제1 컨트롤러(120)는 상기 제2 컨트롤러(220)로부터 상기 건전성 확인 데이터(H2)를 수신하지 못한 경우, 상기 다른 데이터 처리 장치(200)를 고장 상태로 판단할 수 있다(S202).
S203 단계에서, 제1 컨트롤러(120)는 다른 데이터 처리 장치(200)의 제2 통신회로(210)로부터 상기 제2 데이터(D2)를 수신할 수 있다(S203).
S204 단계에서, 제1 컨트롤러(120)는 제2 통신회로(210)로부터 상기 제2 컨트롤러(220)의 식별 번호를 수신할 수 있다(S204). 실시예에 따르면, 제1 컨트롤러(120)는 S203 단계와 S204 단계를 동시에 수행할 수 있고, 순서를 바꿔서 수행할 수 있다.
도 6은 본 문서에 개시된 일 실시예에 따른 데이터 처리 장치의 동작 방법을 수행하기 위한 컴퓨팅 시스템의 하드웨어 구성을 나타내는 블록도이다.
도 6을 참조하면, 본 문서에 개시된 일 실시예에 따른 컴퓨팅 시스템(2000)은 MCU(2010), 메모리(2020), 입출력 I/F(2030) 및 통신 I/F(2040)를 포함할 수 있다.
MCU(2010)는 메모리(2020)에 저장되어 있는 각종 프로그램(예를 들면, 데이터 수집 프로그램, 건전성 확인 데이터 생성 및 확인 프로그램, 통신 프로그램 등)을 실행시킬 수 있다. 또한, 이러한 프로그램들을 통해 수집된 데이터 및 데이터 처리 장치의 상태 정보를 포함한 각종 정보를 처리하며, 전술한 도 1 내지 5에 나타낸 데이터 처리 장치(100, 200, 300)에 포함된 컨트롤러(120, 220, 320)의 기능들을 수행하도록 하는 프로세서일 수 있다.
메모리(2020)는 데이터 수집 프로그램, 건전성 확인 데이터 생성 및 확인 프로그램, 통신 프로그램 등 각종 프로그램을 저장할 수 있다. 또한, 메모리(2020)는 수집된 데이터 및 데이터 처리 장치의 상태 정보 등을 포함한 각종 정보를 저장할 수 있다.
이러한 메모리(2020)는 필요에 따라서 복수 개 마련될 수도 있을 것이다. 메모리(2020)는 휘발성 메모리일 수도 있으며 비휘발성 메모리일 수 있다. 휘발성 메모리로서의 메모리(2020)는 RAM, DRAM, SRAM 등이 사용될 수 있다. 비휘발성 메모리로서의 메모리(2020)는 ROM, PROM, EAROM, EPROM, EEPROM, 플래시 메모리 등이 사용될 수 있다. 상기 열거한 메모리(2020)들의 예를 단지 예시일 뿐이며 이들 예로 한정되는 것은 아니다.
입출력 I/F(2030)는, 키보드, 마우스, 터치 패널 등의 입력 장치(미도시)와 디스플레이(미도시) 등의 출력 장치와 MCU(2010) 사이를 연결하여 데이터를 송수신할 수 있도록 하는 인터페이스를 제공할 수 있다.
통신 I/F(2040)는 서버와 각종 데이터를 송수신할 수 있는 구성으로서, 유선 또는 무선 통신을 지원할 수 있는 각종 장치일 수 있다. 예를 들면, 데이터 처리 장치(100, 200, 300)는 통신 I/F(2040)를 통해 별도로 마련된 외부 서버로부터 배터리 셀의 SOC, OCV, 파라미터 등을 포함한 각종 정보를 송수신할 수 있다.
이와 같이, 본 문서에 개시된 일 실시예에 따른 컴퓨터 프로그램은 메모리(2020)에 기록되고, MCU(2010)에 의해 처리됨으로써, 예를 들면 도 3에서 도시한 각 기능들을 수행하는 모듈로서 구현될 수도 있다.
이상에서, 본 문서에 개시된 실시예를 구성하는 모든 구성 요소들이 하나로 결합하거나 결합하여 동작하는 것으로 설명되었다고 해서, 본 문서에 개시된 실시예들이 반드시 이러한 실시예에 한정되는 것은 아니다. 즉, 본 문서에 개시된 실시예들의 목적 범위 안에서라면, 그 모든 구성 요소들이 하나 이상으로 선택적으로 결합하여 동작할 수도 있다.

Claims (16)

  1. 제1 데이터를 수신하는 제1 통신회로; 및
    상기 제1 통신회로로부터 상기 제1 데이터를 수신하고,
    상기 제1 데이터를 상위 제어기로 송신하고,
    다른 데이터 처리 장치에 포함된 제2 컨트롤러로부터 건전성 확인 데이터가 수신되는지 여부에 기초하여, 상기 다른 데이터 처리 장치에 포함된 제2 통신회로로부터 제2 데이터를 수신하여 상기 제2 데이터를 상기 상위 제어기로 송신할지 여부를 결정하는 제1 컨트롤러를 포함하는 데이터 처리 장치.
  2. 청구항 1에 있어서,
    상기 제1 컨트롤러는,
    상기 제2 컨트롤러로부터 상기 건전성 확인 데이터를 수신하지 못한 경우, 상기 다른 데이터 처리 장치를 고장 상태로 판단하는 데이터 처리 장치.
  3. 청구항 2에 있어서,
    상기 제1 컨트롤러는,
    상기 제2 통신회로로부터 상기 제2 데이터를 수신하고,
    수신된 제2 데이터를 상기 상위 제어기로 송신하는 데이터 처리 장치.
  4. 청구항 3에 있어서,
    상기 제1 컨트롤러는,
    상기 제2 통신회로로부터 상기 제2 컨트롤러의 식별 번호를 수신하고,
    상기 제2 컨트롤러의 식별 번호를 상기 상위 제어기로 송신하는 데이터 처리 장치.
  5. 청구항 4에 있어서,
    상기 제1 컨트롤러는,
    상기 제2 통신회로로부터 상기 제2 데이터 및 상기 식별 번호를 UART 통신을 통해 수신하는 데이터 처리 장치.
  6. 제1 통신회로로부터 제1 데이터를 수신하는 단계;
    상기 제1 데이터를 상위 제어기로 송신하는 단계;
    다른 데이터 처리 장치에 포함된 제2 컨트롤러로부터 건전성 확인 데이터가 수신되는지 여부에 기초하여, 상기 다른 데이터 처리 장치에 포함된 제2 통신회로로부터 제2 데이터를 수신하여 상기 제2 데이터를 상기 상위 제어기로 송신할지 여부를 결정하는 단계를 포함하는 데이터 처리 방법.
  7. 청구항 6에 있어서,
    상기 제2 컨트롤러로부터 상기 건전성 확인 데이터를 수신하지 못한 경우, 상기 다른 데이터 처리 장치를 고장 상태로 판단하는 단계를 포함하는 데이터 처리 방법.
  8. 청구항 7에 있어서,
    상기 제2 통신회로로부터 상기 제2 데이터를 수신하는 단계; 및
    수신된 제2 데이터를 상기 상위 제어기로 송신하는 단계를 포함하는 데이터 처리 방법.
  9. 청구항 8에 있어서,
    상기 제2 통신회로로부터 상기 제2 컨트롤러의 식별 번호를 수신하는 단계; 및
    상기 제2 컨트롤러의 식별 번호를 상기 상위 제어기로 송신하는 단계를 포함하는 데이터 처리 방법.
  10. 청구항 9에 있어서,
    상기 제2 통신회로로부터 상기 제2 데이터 및 상기 식별 번호를 UART 통신을 통해 수신하는 데이터 처리 방법.
  11. 제1 데이터를 수신하는 제1 통신회로, 및 상기 제1 통신회로로부터 상기 제1 데이터를 수신하는 제1 컨트롤러를 포함하는 제1 데이터 처리 장치;
    제2 데이터를 수신하는 제2 통신회로, 및 상기 제2 통신회로로부터 상기 제2 데이터를 수신하는 제2 컨트롤러를 포함하는 제2 데이터 처리 장치; 및
    상기 제1 컨트롤러 및 상기 제2 컨트롤러로부터 데이터를 수신하는 상위 제어기를 포함하고,
    상기 제1 컨트롤러 및 상기 제2 컨트롤러는 서로 건전성 확인 데이터를 송수신하고,
    상기 제1 컨트롤러는 상기 제2 컨트롤러로부터 건전성 확인 데이터가 수신되는지 여부에 기초하여, 상기 제2 통신회로로부터 제2 데이터를 수신하여 상기 제2 데이터를 상기 상위 제어기로 송신할지 여부를 결정하는 데이터 처리 시스템.
  12. 청구항 11에 있어서,
    상기 제1 컨트롤러는,
    상기 제2 컨트롤러로부터 상기 건전성 확인 데이터를 수신하지 못한 경우, 상기 제2 데이터 처리 장치를 고장 상태로 판단하는 데이터 처리 시스템.
  13. 청구항 12에 있어서,
    상기 제1 컨트롤러는,
    상기 제2 통신회로로부터 상기 제2 데이터를 수신하고,
    수신된 제2 데이터를 상기 상위 제어기에 송신하는 데이터 처리 시스템.
  14. 청구항 13에 있어서,
    상기 제1 컨트롤러는,
    상기 제2 통신회로로부터 상기 제2 컨트롤러의 식별 번호를 수신하고,
    수신된 상기 제2 컨트롤러의 식별 번호를 상기 상위 제어기에 송신하는 데이터 처리 시스템.
  15. 청구항 12에 있어서,
    상기 상위 제어기는,
    상기 제1 컨트롤러로부터 상기 제2 데이터 처리 장치의 고장 여부를 수신하는 데이터 처리 시스템.
  16. 청구항 12에 있어서,
    상기 상위 제어기는,
    고장 상태의 데이터 처리 장치를 확인하고, 사용자에게 안내하는 데이터 처리 시스템.
