Description

WINDING MACHINE REEL TRANSFER SYSTEM
Field of the Invention
The invention relates to a reel transfer system for conveying an empty reel for winding in a reel winding machine, while advancing the wound reel.
In particular, the invention relates to a reel transfer system which, in a winding machine for winding a cable-like winding material onto a reel, enables an empty reel without winding material to be transported for winding and, during transport, enables the wound reel with winding material to be advanced onto a conveyor belt.
State of the Art
Before packaging winding materials such as cables, the winding process is carried out on the reel. In automatic cable packaging/reel winding machines, after the cable winding process is carried out on the reel, the wrapped reel is transferred to the conveyor belt and then the winding process of the new empty reel is started. In current applications, the second reel, which is empty, is not placed on the winding head until the winding process of the first reel is completed and removed on the winding head. Due to this waiting during the process, the total processing time and production speed slow down.
In a patent document CN105836533A, which is in the known state of the art, a cable winding machine is disclosed which enables the winding of the finished cables on a tray for the convenience of transporting and transporting electrical cables. Said machine is a multi-purpose cable winding machine comprising a base, a winding disc mounted on the base and multiple drive mechanisms for rotating the winding disc to wind the cables. Multiple universal wheels are mounted under the base. The multi-purpose cable winding machine contains drive mechanisms and when a motor fails, the winding disc is manually rotated to manually eliminate the production defect and perform maintenance. In the said document, there is no mention of a solution for advancing the wound reel while at the same time ensuring that the empty reel is carried for the winding process on the reel winding machine. As a result, there is a need for the development of a reel transfer system that enables the empty reel without winding material to be transported for winding in the reel winding machine, and during the transport, the wound reel with the winding material on it is advanced on the conveyor belt, the winding and packaging process continues uninterruptedly, and the moving elements in the system, energy consumption, process errors and time are reduced.
Object of the Invention
The present invention is related to a reel transfer system which fulfils the abovementioned requirements, eliminates all disadvantages and brings some additional advantages.
The main object of the reel transfer system subject to the invention is to obtain a reel transfer system that enables the empty reel to be transported in the reel winding machine, on which the winding process will be applied, and during the transport, the wound reel, whose winding process is completed, to be transferred to the conveyor belt.
Another object of the invention is to obtain a practical reel transfer system that allows the winding and/or packaging process to continue uninterruptedly by preventing waiting during the reel transfer.
Another object of the invention is to obtain a functional reel transfer system that reduces the number of moving elements that enable the rollers to be carried within the system and the energy consumption during the process.
Another object of the invention is to obtain an efficient reel transfer system that reduces process errors and total process time.
Reel transfer system suitable for use in at least one reel winding machine, including at least one winding head for winding at least one winding material onto the empty reel, at least one conveyor belt for removing the wound reel from the system that winding process is completed,, at least one feeding unit for conveying and/or storing the empty reel to the machine, fortransporting the empty reel and transferring the wound reel without waiting during transport, in order to achieve the above purposes in the most general form, which comprises the following; at least one body that allows carrying the elements attached to it; at least one transport element that enables the body to be moved along a first axis between the feeding unit and the winding head; at least one gripping element that enables the empty reel to be taken from the feeding unit and positioned on the winding head; at least one drive element that enables the body and/or carrying member to be rotated around a second axis; at least one transfer element that enables the wrapped reel to be pushed and transferred onto the conveyor belt.
The structural and characteristic features of the present invention will be understood clearly by the following drawings and the detailed description made with reference to these drawings and therefore the evaluation shall be made by taking these figures and the detailed description into consideration.

Detailed Description of the Invention
In this detailed description, the preferred embodiments of the inventive reel transfer system are described only for clarifying the subject matter in a manner such that no limiting effect is created.
A reel transfer system, the exemplary view of which is given in figure 1 , developed by the present invention, comprising at least one winding head (K) for winding at least one winding material preferably a cable, preferably made of cardboard, plastic and/or wood material, preferably in the form of a cylinder, onto an empty reel (1) on which the winding process is to be performed, the winding process being completed, a reel transfer system, preferably made of cardboard, plastic and/or wood, preferably in the form of a cylinder, comprising at least one conveyor belt (T) for removing the wound reel (2) from the system, and comprising at least one feeding unit (B) for conveying the empty reel (1 ) to the machine and/or storing it for conveying, which is suitable for use in at least one reel winding machine that enables the winding material to be wrapped and made suitable for packaging and I or storage, which enables the empty reel (1) to be transported to the winding head (K) and the wrapped reel (2) to be transferred from the winding head (K) to the conveyor belt (T) without waiting during transport, comprises the following; at least one body (3), preferably in the form of a table, which has a structure suitable for fastening the elements of the system onto it and which allows the elements attached to it to be carried; at least one transport element (4) in connection with the reel winding machine, preferably of a movable rail or belt construction, preferably comprising at least one travelling element, preferably including at least one travelling element for obtaining the travelling force, suitable for carrying the body (3) thereon and enabling the body (3) to be moved along a first axis between the feeding unit (B) and the winding head (K); comprising at least one gripping element (5) connected to the body (3) and suitable for gripping the empty reel (1 ), which enables the empty reel (1) to be taken from the feeding unit (B) and positioned on the winding head (K), preferably with a lever or clamp structure suitable for holding the empty reel (1 ); at least one drive element (6), preferably of motorized construction, connected to the body (3), for rotating the body (3) and/or the transport element (4) about a second axis perpendicular to the first axis; comprising at least one transfer element (7), preferably in the form of an arm or extension, which is fixedly positioned on the body (1 ) close to the winding head (K), and which enables the wound reel (2) to be pushed and transferred onto the conveyor belt (T) by moving the gripping element (5) to position the empty reel (1) on the winding head (K).
In an exemplary embodiment of the reel transfer system developed with the present invention, the gripping element (5) is rotated around the second axis by means of the drive element (6) and moved in such a way that it approaches the feeding unit (B). Afterwards, the empty reel (1) is removed from the feeding unit (B) by means of the gripping element (5) and the body (3) and the gripping element (5) carrying the empty reel (1 ) on the body (3) are moved towards the winding head (K) by means of the transport element (4). After the body (3) approaches the winding head (K), the gripping element (5) is rotated around the second axis by means of the drive element (6) and the empty reel (1) is moved so that it is placed on the winding head (K). During this rotational movement, the transfer element (7) contacts the wound reel (2) positioned on the winding head (K) and pushes the wound reel (2) and transfers it onto the conveyor belt (T). Afterwards, the gripping element (5) removes the wound reel (2) from the winding head (K) and leaves the empty reel (1) in the vacant place, and the new winding process begins without wasting time. Uninterrupted reel replacement is achieved by repeating the entire process. By means of the reel transfer system developed by the present invention, the empty reel (1) in the feeding unit (B) of the reel winding machine is transported for winding, and at the same time, during the transport, the wound reel (2), which has finished winding on the winding head (K), is transferred to the conveyor belt (T). Thus, a reel transfer system is obtained which enables the new empty reel (1) to be placed on the empty place on the winding head (K) quickly without waiting, the winding and packaging process to continue uninterruptedly, and the moving elements in the system, energy consumption, process errors and time to be reduced.
