Abstract

Briefly, systems and methods for securely updating an loT system are presented, the methods including: providing the loT system, the loT system including: loT devices operable by a user; an loT hub for electronically coupling the loT devices to the user; a dashboard graphical user interfaces (GUIs) for enabling communication between the loT vendors and the loT user devices, where the dashboard GUIs includes a user dashboard for retrieving loT user device information and for enabling secure data sharing with the loT vendors; receiving a regulatory update requirement by the loT vendor; determining a current status for each of the loT user devices by the loT vendor.
