Abstract

본 발명은 터치 센서에 관한 것이다. 상세하게는, 본 발명은 Tx 전극셀과 Rx 전극셀을 동일 평면에 형성한 단층 구조의 도전성 금속나노와이어 전극셀을 갖는 터치 센서에 관한 것이다.
터치 센서는 다수의 전극셀을 포함하는 감지부를 구비한다. 전극셀은 제1 방향(예: X축)으로 배열 연결되는 제1 방향 전극셀(예: Tx 전극셀)과 제2 방향(예: Y축)으로 연결 배열되는 제2 방향 전극셀(예: Rx 전극셀)로 구분할 수 있다. 제1 방향 전극셀과 제2 방향 전극셀은 각각 제1 배선부와 제2 배선부로 연결된다. 제1,2 배선부는 투명 기재의 측방 가장자리를 따라 연장되어 투명 기재의 가장자리, 즉 베젤 영역에 형성되는 전극 패드부와 연결될 수 있다. 전극 패드부는 이방성 도전 필름(Anisotropic Conductive Film:ACF) 등을 매개로 FPC, COF, TCP 등의 인쇄회로기판과 접속할 수 있다.
터치 센서는 Tx 전극셀과 Rx 전극셀을 상하로 적층하고 그 사이에 절연층(층간 절연층)을 삽입하여 2층 구조로 구성할 수 있다. 이 경우, 터치 센서는 층간 절연층의 간격으로 인해 빛샘이 발생하고 그 결과 모아레를 비롯한 시인성 악화가 발생할 수 있다.
또한, 터치 센서는 전극셀을 도전성 산화물, 금속 등으로 구성한다. 그런데, 도전성 산화물은 굴곡성(Flexibility)과 저저항 구현에서 약점이 있고, 금속은 투명성과 시인성에서 약점이 있다.
본 발명은, 종래기술의 이러한 문제점을 해결하기 위한 것으로, 터치 센서에서 빛샘을 차단 내지 최소화하여 시인성 문제를 개선하는 것을 목적으로 한다.
본 발명은 터치 센서에서 전극셀 저항을 최소화하여 대면적 구현을 용이하게 하는 것을 목적으로 한다.
본 발명은 터치 센서에서 굴곡성을 높이는 것을 목적으로 한다.
본 발명은 터치 센서에서 투과율 저하를 차단 내지 최소화하는 것을 목적으로 한다.
또한, 본 발명은 터치 센서에서 브릿지를 사용하는 경우에 콘택 저항비를 낮게 유지하는 것을 목적으로 한다.
이러한 목적을 달성하기 위한 본 발명의 도전성 금속나노와이어 전극셀을 갖는 터치 센서는 기재층, 전극층, 절연층, 브릿지, 패시베이션층 등을 포함한다.
기재층은 기재(base)로서, 유리, 투명 플라스틱, 투명 고분자 필름 등으로 구성할 수 있다.
전극층은 제1 방향으로 연결 배열되는 다수의 Tx 전극셀들과 Tx 전극셀들과 이격되면서 제1 방향과 수직되는 제2 방향으로 이격 배열되는 Rx 전극셀들을 기재층에 동일 평면으로 형성하는 단층 구조일 수 있다. Tx 전극셀들과 Rx 전극셀들은 기재층에 형성되는 제1 오버코트층에 제1 도전성 금속나노와이어를 일부 상방으로 돌출시키면서 매립하는 형태로 구성할 수 있다. 이 경우, Tx 전극셀들과 Rx 전극셀들의 이격 공간에는 제1 도전성 금속나노와이어어를 구비하지 않고 제1 오버코트층만 구비할 수 있다.
절연층은 Rx 전극셀들을 연결하는 브릿지 비아홀을 구비하면서 전극층에 형성한다.
브릿지는 절연층의 상면 일부와 브릿지 비아홀에 형성되어 Rx 전극셀들을 제2 방향으로 연결한다.
패시베이션층은 절연층 및 브릿지에 형성한다.
본 발명의 도전성 금속나노와이어 전극셀을 갖는 터치 센서에서, 브릿지는 브릿지 비아홀 및 절연층에 형성되는 제2 오버코트층에 제2 도전성 금속나노와이어를 매립하는 형태로 구성하여 제2 도전성 금속나노와이어를 브릿지 비아홀에서 제1 도전성 금속나노와이어와 접속하게 한다.
본 발명의 도전성 금속나노와이어 전극셀을 갖는 터치 센서에서, 제2 오버코트층은 절연층의 상면 전체에 형성할 수 있다.
본 발명의 도전성 금속나노와이어 전극셀을 갖는 터치 센서에서, 제1,2 도전성 금속나노와이어는 은나노와이어(AgNW)일 수 있다.
본 발명의 도전성 금속나노와이어 전극셀을 갖는 터치 센서에서, 브릿지는 도전성 투명산화물로 구성할 수 있다. 도전성 투명산화물은 인듐주석산화물(ITO), 인듐아연산화물(IZO), 및 알루미늄징크옥사이드(AZO) 중에서 선택되는 하나로 구성할 수 있다.
본 발명의 도전성 금속나노와이어 전극셀을 갖는 터치 센서는 기재층과 전극층 사이에 리프트오프층을 포함할 수 있다. 리프트오프층은 기재층에 형성되는 분리층과 분리층에 형성되는 보호층을 포함할 수 있다.
본 발명의 도전성 금속나노와이어 전극셀을 갖는 터치 센서에서, 브릿지 비아홀은 면적이 5000 ㎛2 이상이고 한변 길이가 50㎛ 이상인 사각 형태를 가질 수 있다.
본 발명에 따른 디스플레이 장치는 위에서 설명한 도전성 금속나노와이어 전극셀을 갖는 터치 센서를 포함할 수 있다.
이러한 구성을 갖는 본 발명의 터치 센서는, 오버코트층에 매립되는 도전성 금속나노와이어로 전극을 형성하고, 나아가 전극층을 적층 구조가 아닌 단층 구조로 구성함으로써, 층간 절연층으로 인해 발생할 수 있는 빛샘을 차단 내지 최소화할 수 있다. 이를 통해, 본 발명은 모아레 등의 시인성 문제를 해소(즉, 차단 내지 최소화)할 수 있다.
본 발명의 터치 센서는, 오버코트층에 매립되는 도전성 금속나노와이어로 전극을 구성함으로써, 전극셀 저항을 최소화할 수 있다. 이를 통해, 본 발명은 대면적 구현을 용이하게 할 수 있다.
본 발명의 터치 센서는, 전극셀과 브릿지를 동일 재질의 금속나노와이어로 구성함으로써, 공정을 단순화할 뿐만 아니라 두께를 줄일 수 있다. 이를 통해, 본 발명은 터치 센서의 굴곡성(Flexibility)를 높일 수 있다.
본 발명의 터치 센서는, 브릿지를 오버코트층에 매립되는 도전성 금속나노와이어 또는 투명산화물로 구성함으로써, 투과율 저하를 차단 내지 최소화할 수 있다.
또한, 본 발명의 터치 센서는, 브릿지 비아홀의 면적을 5000㎛2 이상, 한변 길이를 50㎛ 이상의 사각 형태로 구성하여 최적화함으로써, 콘택 저항비를 최소화(예: 0.04 Ω/□ 이하로 유지)할 수 있다.

이하, 첨부도면을 참조하여 본 발명을 상세히 설명한다.
도 1은 본 발명에 따른 터치 센서의 구성도이다.
도 1에 도시한 바와 같이, 본 발명의 터치 센서는 감지부(S), 배선부(T), 패드부(P) 등을 포함할 수 있다.
감지부(S)는 다수의 전극셀을 포함하여 액티브 영역을 구성할 수 있다. 전극셀은 섬(island) 형태로 구성하여 배열할 수 있다. 도 1에 도시한 바와 같이, 제1 방향(도 1에서 X축)으로 연결 배열되는 Tx 전극셀들(131), 그리고 제2 방향(도 1에서 Y축)으로 이격 배열되고 Tx 전극셀들(131)과도 이격되는 Rx 전극셀들(133-1,133-2)을 포함할 수 있다. 이격되는 Rx 전극셀들(133-1,133-2)은 상부에 형성되는 Rx 브릿지(151))로 연결될 수 있다.
감지부(S)는 Tx 전극셀들(131)과 Rx 전극셀들(133-1,133-2)을 동일 평면에 형성하는, 즉 단층 구조로 구성할 수 있다.
감지부(S)는 Tx 전극셀들(131)과 Rx 전극셀들(133-1,133-2)을 도전성 금속나노와이어로 구성할 수 있다. 도전성 금속나노와이어는 도전 금속을 나노 단위의 와이어 형태로 구성한 것으로, 예를 들어 은(Ag), 금(Au), 구리(Cu), 니켈(Ni), 백금(Pt), 팔라듐(Pd), 또는 알루미늄(Al) 나노 와이어일 수 있고, 이들의 조합으로 이루어진 코어쉘 와이어(core-shell wire)일 수 있다. 나노 와이어는 서로 연결되어 전극으로 작용할 수 있다. 나노 와이어는 나노 크기여서 투명할 수 있다. 예를 들어, 은나노와이어는 직경 5~100nm, 길이 1~500㎛를 가질 수 있는데, 이들은 랜덤하게 또는 특정 방향으로 배열될 수 있다.
감지부(S)는 도전성 금속나노와이어의 일부가 상부로 돌출되면서 오버코트층에 매립되는 형태로 Tx 전극셀들(131)과 Rx 전극셀들(133-1,133-2)을 구성할 수 있다. 여기서, 오버코트층은 페놀작용기를 갖는 고분자 수지, 금속산화물 전구체, 및 산촉매를 포함하는 조성물을 사용할 수 있다. 예를 들어, 오버코트층은 고분자 수지 0.5 내지 3 wt%, 금속산화물 전구체 0.2~20 wt%, 그리고 산촉매 0.1 내지 10 wt%를 포함하고, 나머지는 용매로 구성할 수 있다. 이러한 오버코트층 조성물은 고분자 수지를 용매에 녹인 후 고분자 수지 용액에 금속산화물 전구체와 산촉매를 첨가하여 제조할 수 있다.
고분자 수지는 폴리비닐페놀 또는 폴리비닐페놀 공중합체를 포함할 수 있다. 폴리비닐페놀 공중합체로는 폴리비닐페놀-폴리메틸메타크릴레이트 공중합체를 사용할 수 있다.
산촉매는 고분자 수지의 페놀기와 금속산화물 전구체 반응에서 침전 방지와 촉매 역할을 하는 것으로, 아세트산, 포름산, 염산, 황산 등을 사용할 수 있다.
금속산화물 전구체는 마그네슘메톡사이드, 티타늄 에톡사이드, 티타늄 프로폭사이드, 티타늄 부톡사이드, 지르코늄 에톡사이드, 지르코늄 프로톡사이드, 지르코늄 부톡사이드, 지르코늄 아세테이트 등을 사용할 수 있다.
배선부(T)는 감지부(S)의 감지 신호를 패드부(P)로 전달하는 것으로, 다수의 배선을 포함할 수 있다.
배선부(T)는, 도 1과 같이, 전체 방향에 배치할 수 있고, 한쪽 측방 또는 2개 방향에만 배치할 수 있다.
배선부(T)는 니켈, 코발트, 은, 구리, 금, 팔라듐 등의 도전 금속으로 구성할 수 있다.
패드부(P)는 배선부(T)를 통해 수신하는 감지 신호를 외부, 즉 인쇄회로기판(FCB)로 전달하는 것으로, 배선부(T)의 다수 배선과 1:1로 연결되는 전극 패드를 다수 포함할 수 있다.
패드부(P)는 폭을 10㎛ 내지 40㎛, 길이를 0.5㎜ 내지 2.0㎜, 높이를 0.2㎛ 내지 0.5㎛의 사이즈로 구성할 수 있다.
패드부(P)는 니켈, 코발트, 은, 구리, 금, 팔라듐 등의 도전 금속으로 구성할 수 있다.
도 2a는 본 발명에 따른 터치 센서를 X 방향으로 절단한 일부 단면도이다.
도 2a에 도시한 바와 같이, 본 발명에 따른 터치 센서를 X 방향으로 절단하면(도 1에서 A-A' 영역), 기재층(110), 리프트오프층(120), Tx 전극층(131), 절연층(140), Rx 브릿지(151), 패시베이션층(160)의 적층 구조를 가질 수 있다.
기재층(110)은 기재(base)로서, 유리, 투명 플라스틱, 투명 고분자 필름 등으로 구성할 수 있다.
리프트오프층(120)은 제조 공정에서 캐리어 기판으로부터 분리되는 층으로, 필요에 따라 추가로 형성할 수 있다. 리프트오프층(120)은 분리층, 보호층 등을 포함할 수 있다.
분리층은 제조 공정에서 박리를 위한 것으로, 예를 들어 폴리이미드계 고분자, 폴리비닐알코올계 고분자, 폴리아믹산계 고분자, 폴리아미드계 고분자, 폴리에틸렌계 고분자, 폴리스타일렌계 고분자, 폴리노보넨계 고분자, 페닐말레이미드 공중합체계 고분자, 폴리아조벤젠계 고분자 등으로 구성할 수 있다.
보호층은 분리층과 상부의 Tx 전극층(131) 사이에 선택적으로 형성하여 분리층과 함께 Tx 전극층(131)을 보호한다. 또한, 보호층은 Tx 전극층(131)을 형성하는 제조 공정에서 에칭액이 분리층에 영향을 미치는 것을 차단할 수 있다. 보호층은 유기 절연막 또는 무기 절연막으로 구성할 수 있다.
Tx 전극층(131)은 X축 방향으로 연결 배열되는 전극층으로, 일체형으로 구성할 수 있다.
Tx 전극층(131)은 기재층(110) 또는 리프트오프층(120)에 형성되는 제1 오버코트층(132)에 일부가 상방으로 돌출하면서 매립되는 제1 은나노와이어(AgNW1)로 구성할 수 있다. 이 경우, 제1 은나노와이어(AgNW1)는 서로 연결되면서 전기적으로 연결(접속)될 수 있다.
Tx 전극층(131)은 제1 은나노와이어(AgNW1)를 기재층(110) 또는 리프트오프층(120)에 먼저 형성하고, 이어서 제1 오버코트층(132)을 형성하는 방법으로 구성할 수 있다.
제1 은나노와이어(AgNW1)의 형성은 은나노와이어층의 형성, 은나노와이어층에 포토레지스트의 형성, 포토레지스트의 패터닝 및 현상, 은나노와이어층의 에칭, 포토레지스트의 제거 등의 단계를 거칠 수 있다. 은(Ag)은 은염(AgNO3)을 물에 녹인 뒤 촉매를 넣어 환원시키면 얻을 수 있는데, 이때 일정 굵기와 길이의 가느다란 실선 모양의 나노사이즈 와이어, 즉 은나노와이어를 얻을 수 있다. 은나노와이어를 잉크 형태로 만들어 기재층(110) 또는 리프트오프층(120)에 코팅하면, 은나노와이어가 기재층(110) 또는 리프트오프층(120) 표면에 붙으면서 형성된다. 형성된 은나노와이어는 선택적 에칭을 통해 은나노와이어가 보호된 영역(도전 영역)과 은나노와이어가 제거된 영역(비도전/절연 영역)으로 분리될 수 있다.
제1 오버코트층(132)은 폴리비닐페놀(PVP)과 폴리메틸메타아크릴레이트(PMMA)의 공중합체(PVP-co-PMMA)의 고분자 용액, 에틸렌디아민테트라아세틱 디안하이드라이드(Ethylenediaminetetraacetic dianhydride, EAD)의 경화제 등을 포함하는 오버코트층 조성물을 사용하여 형성할 수 있다. 여기서, 고분자 용액은 용매로 메틸에틸케톤(MEK)을 포함할 수 있다. 이러한 고분자 오버코트 조성물을 제1 은나노와이어(AgNW1)가 패턴 형성된 기재층(110) 또는 리프트오프층(120)에 도포하고, 열처리 또는 UV를 조사하여 경화하면, 제1 은나노와이어(AgNW1)를 지지하는 제1 오버코트층(132)을 형성할 수 있다. 형성된 Tx 전극층(131)을 평면상으로 보면, 제1 은나노와이어(AgNW1)가 존재하는 Tx 전극셀 영역과 제1 은나노와이어(AgNW1)가 없이 제1 오버코트층(132)만 존재하는 영역(예: Rx 전극셀과 이격 공간)으로 분리될 수 있다.
절연층(140)은 상부에 형성되는 Rx 브릿지(151)와 하부의 Tx 전극층(131)을 전기적으로 분리(즉, 절연)하는 것으로, Tx 전극층(131)에 형성할 수 있다.
절연층(140)은 전기적 절연 물질이면 특별히 제한하지 않으며, 예를 들어 열경화성 또는 UV 경화성 유기 고분자 등으로 구성할 수 있다.
Rx 브릿지(151)는 Y축 방향으로 이격 배열되는 Rx 전극셀(133-1,133-2)을 전기적으로 연결하는 것으로, 위에서 설명한 Tx 전극층(131)과 동일한 구성, 즉, 오버코트층에 은나노와이어를 매립한 형태로 구성할 수 있다. Rx 브릿지(151)에 대해서는 아래에서 도 2b를 참조하여 상세히 설명한다.
패시베이션층(160)은 하부에 형성되는 구성요소들을 보호하는 것으로, 절연층(140) 및 Rx 브릿지(151)에 형성할 수 있다.
패시베이션층(160)은 일반 절연체인 경화성 프리폴리머, 경화성 폴리머, 가소성 폴리머에서 선택되는 하나 이상의 물질로 구성할 수 있다.
패시베이션층(160)은 필름화가 가능한 바니쉬(varnish) 타입의 재료를 사용할 수 있다. 바니쉬 타입의 재료로는 폴리다이메틸실록산(PDMS: polydimethylsiloxane), 폴리오가노실록산(POS: polyorganosiloxane) 등의 폴리실리콘계, 스판덱스 등의 폴리우레탄계 등이 있다. 바니쉬 타입의 재료들은 연성 절연물로서 터치 센서의 연신성을 높이고 다이나믹 폴딩 능력을 높일 수 있다.
도 2b는 본 발명에 따른 터치 센서를 Y 방향으로 절단한 일부 단면도이다.
도 2b에 도시한 바와 같이, 본 발명에 따른 터치 센서를 Y 방향으로 절단하면(도 1에서 B-B' 영역), 기재층(110), 리프트오프층(120), Tx/Rx 전극층(131/133-1,133-2), 절연층(140), Rx 브릿지(151), 패시베이션층(160)의 적층 구조를 이룰 수 있다.
기재층(110), 리프트오프층(120)은 위의 도 2a에서 설명한 기재층(110), 리프트오프층(120)과 동일하므로, 이들에 대한 상세 설명은 위의 관련 설명으로 갈음한다.
Tx/Rx 전극층(131/133-1,133-2)은 Tx 전극층(131)과 Rx 전극층(133-1,133-2)을 동일 평면에 형성할 수 있다.
Tx/Rx 전극층(131/133-1,133-2)은 기재층(110) 또는 리프트오프층(120)에 형성되는 제1 오버코트층(132)에 일부가 상방으로 돌출하면서 매립되는 제1 은나노와이어(AgNW1)로 구성할 수 있다. 위에서 설명한 바와 같이, 선택적 에칭을 통해 제1 은나노와이어(AgNW1)가 보호된 영역(도전 영역:Tx,Rx 전극층)과 은나노와이어가 제거된 영역(절연 영역: Tx,Rx 전극셀의 이격 공간)으로 분리할 수 있다. 이를 통해 제1 은나노와이어(AgNW1)가 제거된 영역을 기준으로 중앙의 제1 은나노와이어 영역은 Tx 전극층(131)을 구성하고, 양쪽 측방의 제1 은나노와이어 영역은 Rx 전극층(133-1,133-2)을 구성할 수 있다.
Tx/Rx 전극층(131/133-1,133-2)의 형성 방법은, 도 2a에서 설명한 방법과 동일하므로, 위의 도 2a에서 설명한 Tx 전극층(131)의 관련 설명으로 갈음한다.
절연층(140)은 상부에 형성되는 Rx 브릿지(151)와 하부의 Tx/Rx 전극층(131/133-1,133-2)을 전기적으로 절연하는 것으로, Tx/Rx 전극층(131,133-1,133-2)에 형성할 수 있다.
절연층(140)은 이격된 인접 Rx 전극셀(133-1,133-2)을 연결하기 위한 브릿지 비아홀(VH)을 구비할 수 있다.
절연층(140)은 전기적 절연 물질, 예를 들어 열경화성 또는 UV 경화성 유기 고분자 등으로 구성할 수 있다.
Rx 브릿지(151)는 이격된 인접 Rx 전극셀(133-1,133-2)을 전기적으로 연결(접속)하는 것으로, 절연층(140)의 상면 일부와 브릿지 비아홀(VH)에 형성되어 이격된 인접 Rx 전극셀(133-1,133-2)을 Y축 방향으로 연결할 수 있다.
Rx 브릿지(151)는 위에서 설명한 Tx 전극층(131)과 동일한 방법, 즉 제2 은나노와이어(AgNW2)를 브릿지 형태로 패턴 형성하는 단계, 형성된 제2 은나노와이어 브릿지를 제2 오버코트층(152)으로 지지하는 단계를 거칠 수 있다. 제2 은나노와이어(AgNW2)는 선택적 에칭을 통해 절연층(140)의 일부 상면과 브릿지 비아홀(VH)에 연결된 형태로 구성할 수 있다. 이후, 고분자 오버코트 조성물을 제2 은나노와이어(AgNW2)가 패턴 형성된 절연층(140)에 도포하고, 열처리 또는 UV를 조사하여 경화하면, 제2 은나노와이어(AgNW2)를 지지하는 제2 오버코트층(152)을 절연층(140) 상면 전체와 브릿지 비아홀(VH)에 형성할 수 있다. 브릿지 비아홀(VH)에 삽입된 제2 은나노와이어(AgNW2)는 Rx 전극셀(133-1,133-2)의 제1 은나노와이어(AgNW1)와 연결되어 이격된 인접 Rx 전극셀(133-1,133-2)을 Y축 방향으로 연결할 수 있다. 제2 오버코트층(152)은, 제1 오버코트층(132)과 동일하게, 유기 고분자로 형성할 수 있다.
아래의 표 1은 브릿지 비아홀(VH)에서 제1 은나노와이어(AgNW1)와 제2 은나노와이어(AgNW2)의 접촉 사이즈(면적)에 따른 콘택 저항비를 보여주고 있다. 여기서, 브릿지 비아홀(VH)은 사각 형태로 구성하였다.

10 인치 이상의 대면적에서는 Rx 브릿지(151)의 콘택 저항비를 0.03% 이하로 유지할 필요가 있다. 위의 표 1에서 이러한 조건을 만족하는 브릿지 비아홀(VH)의 사이즈(가로X세로)는 100㎛ X 50㎛(=5000㎛2) 이상임을 확인할 수 있다. 한편, 브릿지 비아홀(VH)의 사이즈 중 한변(가로 또는 세로)의 길이가 50㎛에 이르지 않으면, 콘택 저항비가 급격히 증가하는 것도 확인할 수 있다. 이러한 현상은 지나치게 좁은 영역에서는 은나노와이어(AgNW)가 연결을 유지하지 못하기 때문으로 분석된다. 따라서, 본 발명에서는 브릿지 비아홀(VH)의 면적 사이즈(가로X세로)를 5000㎛2 이상으로 하되, 브릿지 비아홀(VH)의 한변(가로 또는 세로) 길이를 50㎛ 이상으로 구성하는 것이 바람직할 수 있다.
패시베이션층(160)은 하부에 형성되는 구성요소들을 보호하는 것으로, Rx 브릿지(151) 및 제2 오버코트층(152)에 형성할 수 있다.
패시베이션층(160)은, 위에서 설명한 바와 같이, 일반 절연체인 경화성 프리폴리머, 경화성 폴리머, 가소성 폴리머에서 선택되는 하나 이상의 물질로 형성할 수 있고, 필름화가 가능한 바니쉬(varnish) 타입의 재료를 사용하여 터치 센서의 연신성과 다이나믹 폴딩 능력을 높일 수 있다.
도 3a는 본 발명에 따른 터치 센서의 변형예를 X 방향으로 절단한 일부 단면도이다.
도 3a에 도시한 바와 같이, 본 발명에 따른 터치 센서의 변형례를 X 방향으로 절단하면(도 1에서 A-A' 영역), 위에서 설명한 도 2a의 터치 센서와 동일하게, 기재층(110), 리프트오프층(120), Tx 전극층(131), 절연층(140), Rx 브릿지(151), 패시베이션층(160)의 적층 구조를 가질 수 있다.
다만, 도 3a의 변형례에서는 Rx 브릿지(151)를 도전성 투명산화물로 구성할 수 있다. 도전성 투명산화물은 금속 산화물, 예를 들어 인듐주석산화물(ITO), 인듐아연산화물(IZO), 알루미늄징크옥사이드(AZO), 아연산화물(ZnOx), 티타늄산화물(TiO2), 산화알루미늄(Al2O3) 등의 도전성 산화물로 구성할 수 있고, 그 밖에 인듐아연주석산화물(IZTO), 인듐 산화물(InOx), 주석 산화물(SnOx), 카드뮴 주석 산화물(CTO), 갈륨-도핑 아연 산화물(GZO), 아연주석산화물(ZTO), 인듐갈륨산화물(IGO) 등이나 이들의 2 이상 조합 등의 재질로 구성할 수 있다.
도 3a의 변형례에서 다른 구성 요소, 즉 기재층(110), 리프트오프층(120), Tx 전극층(131), 절연층(140), 패시베이션층(160)은 도 2a의 실시예와 동일하므로, 이들에 대한 상세 설명은 도 2a의 관련 설명으로 갈음한다.
도 3b는 본 발명에 따른 터치 센서의 변형예를 Y 방향으로 절단한 일부 단면도이다.
도 3b에 도시한 바와 같이, 본 발명에 따른 터치 센서의 변형례를 Y 방향으로 절단하면(도 1에서 B-B' 영역), 기재층(110), 리프트오프층(120), Tx/Rx 전극층(131/133-1,133-2), 절연층(140), Rx 브릿지(151), 패시베이션층(160)의 적층 구조를 이룰 수 있다.
다만, 도 3b의 변형례에서는 Rx 브릿지(151)를 도전성 투명산화물로 구성할 수 있다. 도전성 투명산화물은 위에서 설명한 인듐주석산화물(ITO), 인듐아연산화물(IZO) 등의 금속 산화물일 수 있다.
도 3b의 변형례에서 다른 구성 요소, 즉 기재층(110), 리프트오프층(120), Tx/Rx 전극층(131/133-1,133-2), 절연층(140), 패시베이션층(160)은 도 3b의 실시예와 동일하므로, 이들에 대한 상세 설명은 도 3b의 관련 설명으로 갈음한다.
위에서 설명한 단층 구조의 도전성 금속나노와이어 전극셀을 갖는 터치 센서는 디스플레이 패널과 결합하여 디스플레이 장치를 구성할 수 있다. 여기서, 디스플레이 패널은 정보나 화상을 표시하는 디바이스로서, 액정표시 패널, 플라즈마 패널, 전계발광 패널, 유기발광다이오드 패널 등을 포함할 수 있다.
이상, 본 발명을 여러 실시예로서 설명하였는데, 이들은 본 발명을 예증하기 위한 것이다. 통상의 기술자라면 이러한 실시예를 다른 형태로 변형하거나 수정할 수 있을 것이다. 그러나, 본 발명의 권리범위는 아래의 특허청구범위에 의해 정해지므로, 그러한 변형이나 수정이 본 발명의 권리범위에 포함되는 것으로 해석될 수 있다.

Claims (10)

  1. 기재층;
    제1 방향으로 연결 배열되는 다수의 Tx 전극셀들과 상기 Tx 전극셀들과 이격되면서 제1 방향과 수직되는 제2 방향으로 이격 배열되는 Rx 전극셀들을 상기 기재층에 동일 평면으로 형성하되, 상기 Tx 전극셀들과 Rx 전극셀들은 상기 기재층에 형성되는 제1 오버코트층에 제1 도전성 금속나노와이어를 일부 상방으로 돌출시키면서 매립하는 형태로 구성하는 전극층;
    상기 Rx 전극셀들을 연결하는 브릿지 비아홀을 구비하면서 상기 전극층에 형성되는 절연층;
    상기 절연층의 상면 일부와 상기 브릿지 비아홀에 형성되어 상기 Rx 전극셀들을 상기 제2 방향으로 연결하는 브릿지;
    상기 절연층 및 브릿지에 형성되는 패시베이션층을 포함하는, 단층 구조의 도전성 금속나노와이어 전극셀을 갖는 터치 센서.
  2. 제1항에 있어서,
    상기 브릿지는 상기 브릿지 비아홀 및 절연층에 형성되는 제2 오버코트층에 제2 도전성 금속나노와이어를 매립하는 형태로 구성하여 상기 제2 도전성 금속나노와이어가 상기 브릿지 비아홀에서 상기 제1 도전성 금속나노와이어와 접속하는, 단층 구조의 도전성 금속나노와이어 전극셀을 갖는 터치 센서.
  3. 제2항에 있어서, 상기 제2 오버코트층은
    상기 절연층의 상면 전체에 형성되는, 단층 구조의 도전성 금속나노와이어 전극셀을 갖는 터치 센서.
  4. 제2항에 있어서, 상기 제1,2 도전성 금속나노와이어는
    은나노와이어(AgNW)인, 단층 구조의 도전성 금속나노와이어 전극셀을 갖는 터치 센서.
  5. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 브릿지는
    도전성 투명산화물로 구성하는, 단층 구조의 도전성 금속나노와이어 전극셀을 갖는 터치 센서.
  6. 제5항에 있어서, 상기 도전성 투명산화물은
    인듐주석산화물(ITO), 인듐아연산화물(IZO), 및 알루미늄징크옥사이드(AZO) 중에서 선택되는 하나로 구성하는, 단층 구조의 도전성 금속나노와이어 전극셀을 갖는 터치 센서.
  7. 제1항에 있어서,
    상기 기재층과 상기 전극층 사이에 리프트오프층을 포함하는, 단층 구조의 도전성 금속나노와이어 전극셀을 갖는 터치 센서.
  8. 제7항에 있어서, 상기 리프트오프층은
    상기 기재층에 형성되는 분리층;
    상기 분리층에 형성되는 보호층을 포함하는, 단층 구조의 도전성 금속나노와이어 전극셀을 갖는 터치 센서.
  9. 제1항 내지 제8항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 브릿지 비아홀은
    면적이 5000 ㎛2 이상이고 한변 길이가 50㎛ 이상인 사각 형태를 갖는, 단층 구조의 도전성 금속나노와이어 전극셀을 갖는 터치 센서.
  10. 제9항에 따른 단층 구조의 도전성 금속나노와이어 전극셀을 갖는 터치 센서를 포함하는, 디스플레이 장치.
