Definitions

  • This disclosure relates to an air conditioning system equipped with multiple air conditioners.
  • Patent Document 1 Conventionally, in an air conditioning system equipped with multiple air conditioners, when some kind of communication failure occurs in an air conditioner, a method is known in which the air conditioner in which the failure has occurred is isolated from the air conditioning system in order to prevent the failure from spreading to the other air conditioners (for example, Patent Document 1). As a result, the air conditioning system of Patent Document 1 maintains a normal communication state on the communication path and continues to operate.
  • the spare air conditioner when performing maintenance on an air conditioner, the spare air conditioner may be started up and operated. However, if the address of the spare air conditioner is mistakenly set to the same address as another air conditioner that is to continue to operate, this may cause an abnormality in the operation of the air conditioner that is to continue to operate, which may cause problems in the operation of the air conditioning system.
  • the air conditioning system may contain air conditioners with incorrectly set addresses and air conditioners with duplicated addresses. When disconnecting a faulty air conditioner from the air conditioning system, as in the air conditioning system of Patent Document 1, both the air conditioner with the incorrectly set address and the air conditioner with the duplicated address are disconnected from the air conditioning system. Therefore, the air conditioning system of Patent Document 1 may not be able to maintain the required air conditioning capacity.
  • This disclosure has been made to solve the above problems, and aims to prevent a decrease in the air conditioning capacity of an air conditioning system when air conditioner unit addresses are defined in duplicate.
  • the air conditioning system comprises a first air conditioner having a first outdoor unit and a first indoor unit, and a second air conditioner having a second outdoor unit and a second indoor unit and connected to the first air conditioner by a centralized control line, the first outdoor unit has a first repeater that switches between an ON state that allows the first air conditioner to be connected to the centralized control line and an OFF state that blocks the connection between the first air conditioner and the centralized control line, and a first control device that controls the first repeater, and when the first control device detects an address overlap in which the address of the first outdoor unit or the first indoor unit overlaps with an incorrectly set address of the second outdoor unit or the second indoor unit, it switches the first repeater to the OFF state.
  • the first control device when the first control device detects an address duplication, it switches the repeater to the OFF state. This resolves the address duplication in the first air conditioner, allowing the first air conditioner to continue operating. Therefore, the air conditioning system can suppress a decrease in air conditioning capacity when the addresses of the air conditioner units are defined in a duplicated manner.

Description

処理回路61は、例えば、単一回路、複合回路、プログラム化したプロセッサ、並列プログラム化したプロセッサ、ASIC(Application Specific Integrated Circuit)、FPGA(Field-Programmable Gate Array)、または、これらを組み合わせたものに該当する。
 メモリ63として、例えば、ROM(Read Only Memory)、フラッシュメモリ、EPROM(Erasable and Programmable ROM)およびEEPROM(Electrically Erasable and Programmable ROM)等の不揮発性の半導体メモリが用いられる。また、メモリ63として、RAM(Random Access Memory)の揮発性の半導体メモリが用いられてもよい。さらに、メモリ63として、磁気ディスク、フレキシブルディスク、光ディスク、CD(Compact Disc)、MD(Mini Disc)およびDVD(Digital Versatile Disc)等の着脱可能な記録媒体が用いられてもよい。
