Abstract
Provided in the embodiments of the present disclosure is a location service authorization method. The method is executed by means of a first network device, and comprises: sending authorization request information to a second network device, wherein the authorization request information indicates information of a client terminal and information of a measured terminal in SL location, and the authorization request information is used for requesting the acquisition of a location measurement result of the measured terminal, which result the client terminal is authorized to obtain. In this way, authorization response information can be obtained from the second network device, and on the basis of the authorization response information, it can be determined whether or not the client terminal is authorized to obtain the location measurement result of the measured terminal. Compared with a manner in which a location measurement result is not obtained on the basis of an authorization mechanism, the method can improve the security of wireless communication.
