Abstract

A method for modernizing the experience of the big screen, television, and/or the experience of associated, and streaming electronics and devices via telecommunication technologies is disclosed. Within the big screen, television itself, and/or within unique large screen associated/streaming device embodiments, this method utilizes cellular telecommunication hardware, and/or software, networks, and phone numbers to reshape the experience of big screen, and/or television media. The present method allows a user to make use of cellular telecommunication regarding cellular hardware and/or software resulting in seamless interaction between modern sources of media through the experience of television. The implementation of telecommunication technologies, regarding cellular hardware, software, phone numbers, Data plans, Smartphone personal assistant/smart speaker options, Sim-cards (Mini, Micro, Nano, and eSim, etc.) and cellular networks, provide a wider variety of entertainment, media, and two-way communication options that provide seamless access and interaction to advanced modern media through the experience of the big screen/television, and all associated devices to both.

CROSS-REFERENCE TO RELATED APPLICATIONS

[0001] The current application is a PCT application which claims priority to U.S. Provisional Application number 63441283 filed on January 26, 2023, and to continuation U.S. Provisional Application number 63527949 filed on July 20, 2023, to U.S. Patent Application number 17/402,954 filed on August 16, 2021, to continuation application number 16/741,573, fled on January 13, 2020, to U.S. Patent Application Ser. No. 12/869,430, field on August 26, 2010, which claims the benefit of priority to U.S. Provisional patent Application Ser. No. 61/237,007 filed on August 26, 2009.

FIELD OF THE PRESENT INVENTION

[0002] The present invention utilizes the unique method, and/or use of telecommunication technologies regarding the method of two-way, seamless interaction with Smartphones through the television, via the television itself, and/or all associated television electronics, and television streaming devices. More specifically, the present invention merges telecommunication features and functions within the experience of television through the television itself, interactive television electronics and associated television devices. Associated television devices consist of anything from vehicle screens to in-home televisions, remotes, safety detectors/devices, surround sound bars, media sticks, game consoles, portable game console, set-top-boxes, Blu-ray players, cable/satellite/DVR boxes, projectors, and television associated/streaming devices. This unique fusion of telecommunication functions in connection to the television in any way, that also results in the television being used in ways similar to phones, and/or in place of a phone/Smartphone, is the teaching of our telecommunication television method.

BACKGROUND OF THE PRESENT INVENTION

[0003] The present invention introduces the method of incorporating a telecommunication infrastructure within television itself, and or big screen, additional screens, and television associated electronics and devices. Said additional devices may consist of any combination regarding Sim-card(s), phone number(s), phone network(s), cellular hardware, software, and additional telecommunication technologies within any television, television electronic, and/or device (Media sticks, remotes, set-top-boxes, speaker systems, game consoles, safety devices, projectors, cable/satellite boxes and devices, Blu-ray players, and any other in-home electronic television streaming/devices) that connects to the television resulting in a television, remote, and/or television/big screen experience providing phone functions. The digital age has ushered in a new era of media consumption.

In addition to everything we have grown to love via the big screen, this unique platform will deliver additional fun, futuristic, and essential ways to keep your entire family connected to help, each other and all of your favorite sources of media in new ways that are truly limitless.

[0005] The unique method, or implementation of telecommunication technology within televisions, big screens, speaker systems, remotes, and television streaming/associated devices makes use of any, and/or all Smartphone software, hardware, networks, phone numbers, functions, and telecommunication technologies in the form-factor of a phone, and/or Smartphone television, projectors, remote, television speaker systems, surround sound media bars, cable/DVR/satellite box, advanced media detectors, Blu-ray players, and/or any television associated device(s).

Together, PC/desktop software (Windows) and, fire, smoke, and carbon monoxide modules, software, hardware, and oversized power on, off logo button (cellular hardware) within, Data Plan accessible (Elite) widescreen Smartphone television displays, and devices provide a specific, and universal way to merge the world of Smartphones and television for advanced media, and two-way telecommunication functions of the future.

[0009] The present invention is a whole-home entertainment system, centered on a novel concept of a television which is equipped with internet connectivity via a SIM card providing access to a mobile device communication network. Said network facilitates seamless integration between a smartphone of a user, a remote of the system, and other devices and peripherals in the home, including computers, game consoles, tablets, fire/smoke detectors, carbon monoxide detectors, thermostats, and the like via an loT infrastructure. Smoke and carbon monoxide detectors are also preferably present within a housing of the television. The television is configured to be a smartphone-forward device, displaying an interface similar in scope and functionality to a smartphone or tablet, complete with a unique phone number to facilitate data transfer, cellular calls, texts, and other similar telecommunication features.

This method of a Smartphone interfacing television is designed to seamlessly merge the world of Smartphones, and television through Smartphone design, hardware, software, features, and functions within the television, and/or through the big screen, and/or television associated devices. Different variations may utilize a flat and panoramic style television displays with multiple interactive television screens, Smartphone screens, and Smartphone bezels, within said Smartphone designed televisions, surround sound bars, theatre screens/devices, Blu-ray players, “all-in-one projectors, streaming devices, media sticks, and remotes. These devices may also come with interactive live television screensavers with personalized college style media options merged within a cellular television interface.

And finally, this design also introduces additional interactive television screens, and safety/media devices to provide seamless interaction between traditional television media and the home phone, home answering machine, whole-home alarm clock, Whole home hot spot, whole-home whiteboard, and in-home intercom system accessible through the entire home, via the Smartphone/television personal assistant, and on-board smart speakers via the television, and/or different television screens, and additional screen devices such as projectors, remote(s), Blu-ray players, and Media Detectors. All these aspects come together to create a Smartphone touch screen television, and/or Smartphone interfacing Smart television, in its entirety. Pieced apart, and/or together the specific aspects of two-way interaction via telecommunication functions are critical to the design, function, and method of this big screen/Smartphone television, and/or Smartphone Interfacing television method. Smartphone Interfacing televisions (all-in-one television’s) are designed to provide the whole-home alarm clock, intercom, and Smartphone function to, and/or through the big screen, television, remote, Media detector, and/or via television associated/streaming device, in an organized, intuitive, and interactive way that does not interfere with traditional media consumption.

The method of a Smartphone Interfacing/all-in-one television is to provide a seamless way to provide any, and/or every function of a Smartphone, and television media within every room of the home via the big screen, and television itself, and/or through television associated devices, such as... media sticks, media displays, projectors, game consoles, portable game consoles, portable game consoles, cable, DVR, and satellite boxes, surround sound systems/bars, streaming devices, remotes, Blu-ray players, Smart vehicles/electronic, and more.

[0037] The Collage Style Media Interface/interactive/live television screensavers, provide PCs, and televisions with additional wallpapers, and floating media windows - This Smartphone interfacing option is a customizable collage style media interface that splits Smartphone functions, answering service interface/functions, widgets, virtual reality interface options/media windows, and notification functions between the remote and any of the multi-curved screens on the television, television legs, and interactive Panoramic solid, or transparent style television media bezel screens (everything listed above regarding the collage style media interface is also illustrated). The collage style media interface allows users to customize the television just as you would customize any Smartphone. This customizable option starts with the option of choosing one, or more live/interactive/standard wallpapers, screensavers, videos, and/or photos for one or all panoramic style television/bezel screens, and the Panoramic/wide style television bezel (this function is also available on the remote(s) as well). These screensavers/overlays, or live/interactive wallpapers, etc., can span across two, three, or more television/remote screens, just as you would find on a tablet and/or can be customized per user, and/or customized as media overlays for different types of uses, and media.

This function will allow users to use customized family vacation videos, video/text messages, and photos etc., to their Clear Water Beach, Live television, PC, and remote Wallpapers and screensavers. This interface comes with Smartphone back-up, and all Smartphone options through a television interface. Additional functions allow users to graffiti any and/or all screens, post emojis, and Smartphone television Day, and Night/on and off television notification, widgets/icons on the television, remote, fridge, PC’s, media detectors, and/or through additional cellular devices. This function provides the user with visual icons with numbers to see the amount of phone calls, text messages, emails, house messages, notifications, and more, when the television, remote, media detectors, associated television device, and/or cellular device are on, or off. (1.) Personalized photos and videos are set as screen savers with oversized television/phone icons. These television icons/apps/messages, media widgets and floating media windows may also be present as a media overlay on any of the television, and remote main screen(s), over all media, and/or on the Google-like glass/transparent remote. The television’s edge-light may also be presented on the Smartphone bezel when the television/PC/remote is on and off to notify the user of many Smartphone functions regarding calls, and messages etc. All post- it notes, advertisements, videos, games, devices, photos, movies, date, time, and notes etc. within 1-7 may also be available on both multi-curved panoramic style television screens, and Panoramic style Smartphone television bezel at any time. The Smartphone bezel is. .. The aluminum/metal edge of a Smartphone that houses the power/volume buttons, mic, speakers, Sim-card trays, antennas, and charging/memory ports, and more. This Smartphone bezel is present on the television, around the speakers, the television bezel, remote, and media detectors. 2. Is the Photo and video gallery through the remote, and all cellular devices. 3. Is the Game Console (Game Console hardware software within the television) Xbox, PS5, Nintendo media window(s). Comes with access to many USB, and HDMI ports to customize many devices via many media and graffiti windows and pages. All media pages/windows support all ports on the television.

The transparent television bezel/television, and gaming monitors with LED lights, and liquid cooled, colorful fans etc., may also be inspiration for next generation remotes and flat and curved multi-screen televisions and PC monitors (the edge-lit Smartphone function may also be available on laptops). 4. Is the Movie//Netflix/Cable/Satellite services with a media preview window above. The apps and logos, with access to the television phone interface, and toolbar/settings are also present. 5. Is the second television channel, and/or Search engine/YouTube media window. 6. Represents the area for the Date/Time, and cellular provider etc., 7. Is the second media/ Advertisements window, for Sports Center, Xbox, PS5, News, etc., search engine access and more. This television also makes use of ultra-wide equipped Smartphone television screens, and television stand screens that are designed to provide additional Smartphone, intercom, (VR), and media function, in addition to the primary screen, and/or traditional media. The ultra-wide displays are designed to replace the wide screen media option with an updated, unique and immersive physical design. The use of all of the disclosed above media redefines how users use and interact with the television, touch screen functions, Smartphone inspired media, people within the home, and out in the world. If the television is off. .. you can still activate the Smartphone television functions and use different media functions regarding the phone, answering machine, photos, cable/satellite, security cameras, text messages, massive television apps, search engines, and different plugged-in electronic devices appear as floating media windows/apps, and more by interacting with the television through the television widgets, remote sensors, the edge-lit Smartphone/whole-home personal assistant via the smart speaker(s), Media detectors, and interactive day and night television notifications. The edge-lit television, and remote function can also be customized to be activated when home cameras (front/back door) sense motion that also makes use of individual television windows and interactive functions.

This new idea of media interaction encourages and allows users to engage, interact, and give feedback on television shows, media, commercials, and advertisements that also puts the user in the driver seat. The unique use of cellular software via multiple screens also will users to customize and interact with interactive commercials options in the way that best fits their media needs. If a user likes a commercial and wishes to save it, save it as a screensaver, request additional information, and give feedback on that product and/or service (interactive advertisements).

This function is obviously designed to be customizable, and work with both the digital remote and/or smart speaker settings. In addition to standard phone/Smartphone functions, the software and hardware within said devices processes all media, calls, and messages from all landlines, cell numbers, and Wi-Fi etc., in a way that also interacts with the crazy alarm function, with text, video, phone, vocal sticky-note messaging, time/date, weather, news, calendar updates, answering service/phone messages/options, icons, app, phone book, bedtime songs/noises, reminder notepad for meds, kid pickups and more, can be presented on the Smartphone television, Smartphone remote, and through the television’s intercom function via the media detectors, and additional devices.

[0042] This new Smartphone in the form of a television, and in-home intercom function work together to provide day, and nighttime notifications, interactive digital media remote overlay widget(s), post-it note and voice/home messages, envelopes, crazy alarm functions, calls, voicemails, emails, emojis, saved facetime messages, two-way Smartphone communication/edge-lit device options and more, on the television, remote, media detectors(tel evision devices with phone numbers) within the on and off/voice/visual edge-lit Smartphone television and media bezel interface, and the collage style media interface (This can be an option on PCs, desktops, and laptops with the transparent edge-lit Smartphone media bezel media option, via media devices with or without phone numbers). Sim-cards within two-way communication televisions, and/or theatre devices will ultimately create the first talking traditional, and/or multi-screen and curved/panoramic/ultra-wide multi-screen Smartphones in the form of large screen devices, televisions/television devices, and remotes. A method of recreating how users interact with modern media within the home via a telecommunication technology comprising: connecting a smart television to a telecommunication technology; accessing the telecommunication technology to control the smart television; the smart television providing an interface disposed in communication with the telecommunication technology, the interface comprising at least one screen operable by cellular software, exhibiting a mobile operating system, facilitating remote control of the smart television over the telecommunication technology via other devices disposed in communication with the telecommunication technology; the smart television providing telecommunication functions via a computer in communication with a display of the smart television; wherein the smart television is equipped with a unique phone number, assigned by the telecommunication technology in association with at least one SIM card; and the smart television interfacing with associated devices.

2. The method of claim 1, wherein the smart television interfaces with the telecommunication technology via a 5G radio disposed in communication with the least one sim-card.

3. The method of claim 1, wherein the smart television provides a personal assistant that interfaces with fire, smoke, and/or carbon monoxide detectors via an loT protocol.

4. The method of claim 3, wherein the smart television is equipped with a transparent media bezel; and wherein the transparent media bezel is equipped with at least one display screen capable of displaying virtual notes.

5. The method of claim 1, wherein the smart television is assigned at least one phone number via a SIM card.

6. The method of claim 1, wherein the smart television associated devices comprise of phone numbers.

7. The method of claim 1, wherein fire, smoke, and/or carbon monoxide detectors are television media detectors.

8. The method of claim 1, wherein the smart television comprises phone hardware; wherein the smart television is equipped with a transparent media bezel; and wherein the transparent media bezel is equipped with at least one display screen capable of displaying virtual notes.

9. The method of claim 1, wherein the smart television is equipped with a Panoramic style television bezel.

10. The method of claim 1, wherein the smart television is an in-home intercom system facilitated by at least one speaker and at least one microphone.

11. The method of claim 1, wherein the smart television has multiple screens.

12. The method of claim 1, wherein the smart television is a smart speaker.

13. The method of claim 1, wherein the smart television design comprises a widescreen/panoramic display.

14. The method of claim 1, wherein the smart television comprises of an interactive bezel.
