Description

A DISHWASHER COMPRISING A CUSTOMIZED SPRAYING MEMBER
The present invention relates to a dishwasher comprising a customized spraying member.
In dishwashers, the washing process is realized by spraying the water received from the water delivery line onto the dishes by means of spray arms. Water is sprayed onto the items placed in the rack by means of the spray arms. In order to spray water homogeneously onto all the items in the dishwasher, the spray arms rotate around themselves at different rpms and speeds. Thus, the water is enabled to be delivered onto the items at an angle. Water can reach a larger area as the density and the speed thereof increase. Thus, the washing performance is increased. The form of the spray arms and the nozzles thereon changes the geometry of the water transmission. The spray arms which are generally used in dishwashers enable the water to be transmitted to the washing tub in a circular geometry. Therefore, it is observed that the washing efficiency of the dishes in the corners of the rack is lower than the dishes in the middle. In the state of the art, various spray arm geometries are used to ensure the washing of corners. However, the spray arms used enable the water to be transmitted in a single blocking geometry and do not increase the scattering of the water.
In the state of the art United States Patent Document No. US2015000708, a dishwasher is disclosed, comprising a spraying member which improves the washing of comers.
The dishwasher realized in order to attain the aim of the present invention, explicated in the first claim and the respective claims thereof, comprises a body; a washing tub which is disposed in the body, wherein the washing process is performed; at least one rack which is disposed in the washing tub; and a spraying member which sprays water onto the rack. The kitchen items are placed onto the rack. The water is delivered by means of the spraying member to the racks so as to perform the cleaning process.
The dishwasher of the present invention comprises a connection chamber which is the part where the spraying member is attached to the washing tub, and a plurality of spraying arms with different lengths connected to the connection chamber. Water enters the spraying member for the first time through the connection chamber. The water entering the connection chamber is transmitted to the spraying arms. By means of the different lengths of the spraying arms, the water is transmitted to the washing tub from various zones and at various flow rates. Thus, the water is enabled to be transmitted onto the kitchen items in multiple geometries.
In an embodiment of the present invention, the dishwasher comprises a spray arm which is provided on each spraying arm and the spraying member where each spray arm is positioned at a different distance from the connection chamber. The spray arms are provided on the spraying arms. A spray arm is provided on each spraying arm. The distance of each spray arm to the connection chamber is different. Thus, the water is transmitted to each spray arm at a different flow rate. Consequently, the impact area of water increases while being transmitted onto the kitchen items in different geometries.
In an embodiment of the present invention, the dishwasher comprises a circular member which is provided on each spraying member. The circular member is positioned around the spray arm so as to surround the surface formed by the spray arm during rotation. The outermost parts of the spraying member are formed by the circular members. Therefore, each circular member is positioned at a different distance to the connection chamber.
In an embodiment of the present invention, the dishwasher comprises a plurality of openings which are provided on each circular member. The water is delivered through the openings. Thus, the spraying member transmits water at various flow rates from the outermost parts.
In an embodiment of the present invention, the dishwasher comprises a plurality of first nozzles which are provided on each spray arm and which, by means of the inclination thereof towards different directions, enable the spray arms to rotate in different directions. The water outlet directions of the first nozzles provided on the spray arm are different from each other. Thus, the spray arms are enabled to rotate in different directions from each other, increasing the scattering. In an embodiment of the present invention, the dishwasher comprises the spraying member having a plurality of second nozzles which are provided on the spraying arms. The second nozzles are positioned at different distances to the connection chamber.
In an embodiment of the present invention, the dishwasher comprises four opposite spraying arms which are connected to the connection chamber.
By means of the present invention, a dishwasher is realized, which provides different washing geometries at the same time by means of a single spraying member.
A dishwasher realized in order to attain the aim of the present invention is illustrated in the attached figures, where:
Figure 1 - is the perspective view of the dishwasher.

The elements illustrated in the figures are numbered as follows:
1- Dishwasher
2- Body
3- Washing tub
4- Rack
5- Spraying member
6- Connection chamber
7- Spraying arm
8- Spray arm
9- Circular member
10- Opening
11- First nozzle
12- Second nozzle The dishwasher (1) comprises a body (2); a washing tub (3) which is disposed in the body (2) and wherein the washing process is performed; at least one rack (4) which is disposed in the washing tub (3) and whereon the kitchen items are placed; and at least one spraying member (5) which sprays water onto the rack (4). The kitchen items are placed onto the rack (4) to be cleaned. The water is sprayed onto the rack (4) by means of the spraying member (5), thus performing the cleaning process. The way the water is transmitted draws the washing geometry and directly affects the washing performance.
The dishwasher (1) of the present invention comprises a connection chamber (6) where the spraying member (5) is attached to the washing tub (3) and where the water enters the spraying member (5) for the first time, and the spraying member (5) which is connected to the connection chamber (6) and which has a plurality of spraying arms (7) with different lengths, connected to the connection chamber (6). The spraying member (5) is attached to the washing tub (3) by means of the connection chamber (6). The connection chamber (6) is the part where the water enters the spraying member (5) for the first time. From here, the water is distributed to the spraying arms (7) and transmitted to the washing tub (3). Each spraying arm (7) has a different length. Thus, the flow rate of the transmitted water entering the connection chamber (6) changes. By means of a single spraying member (5), the water can be transmitted at various flow rates and positions. Thus, washing efficiency is increased by creating a plurality of washing geometries.
In an embodiment of the present invention, the dishwasher (1) comprises a spray arm (8) which is provided on each spraying arm (7) and which rotates with the effect of the transmitted water and ensures the distribution of water, and the spraying member (5) where the distance of the spray arms (8) provided on different spraying arms (7) to the connection chamber (6) is different. A spray arm (8) is provided on each spraying arm (7). The spray arms (8) distribute the water by rotating with the effect of the water. Due to the different lengths of the spraying arms (7), each spray arm (8) is located at a different distance from the connection chamber (6). Thus, the flow of the water transmitted to the spray arms (8) changes, which in turn changes the rotational speeds of the spray arms (8). The water is transmitted into the washing tub (3) at different flow rates and washing geometries.
In an embodiment of the present invention, the dishwasher (1) comprises the spraying member (5) having a circular member (9) which is provided around the spray arms (8) on each spraying arm (7). The circular member (9) surrounds the spray arm (8). Each spray arm (8) can rotate inside a circular member (9). Thus, the quality perception is improved and integrity is ensured in the appearance of the spraying member (5). Moreover, the washing efficiency is increased.
In an embodiment of the present invention, the dishwasher (1) comprises the spraying member (5) having a plurality of openings (5) which are provided on the circular member (9). The openings (10) which ensure the transmission of the water are provided on the circular member (9). While some of the water flowing towards the spraying arm
(7) is transmitted via the spray arm (8), some of it is transmitted through the openings
(10). Thus, the water is enabled to reach the corners of the washing tub (3) of the dishwasher (1). Consequently, the washing efficiency is improved.
In an embodiment of the present invention, the dishwasher (1) comprises the spray arm
(8) having a plurality of first nozzles (11) inclined in different directions such that the spray arms (8) provided on different spraying arms (7) rotate in different directions. Depending on the inclination direction of the first nozzles (11) provided on the spray arm (8), the direction of the transmitted water is determined. The spray arm (8) rotates with the transmission force of the water. By means of the inclination of the first nozzles
(11) in different directions, the spray arms (8) provided on different spraying arms (7) are enabled to rotate in different directions. The first nozzles (11) spray water at different angles with respect to each other. For example, the area that one first nozzle (11) faces is the side wall of the washing tub (3), while the area that another first nozzle (11) faces is the door. Thus, the washing geometry created by the transmission of water to the washing tub (3) is increased, allowing the water to reach more areas.
In an embodiment of the present invention, the dishwasher (1) comprises the spraying member (5) having a plurality of second nozzles (12), each positioned at a different distance from the connection chamber (6), which are provided on the spraying arms (7) and which are positioned between the connection chamber (6) and the spray arm (8). The second nozzles (12) provided on the spraying arm (7) between the connection chamber (6) and the spray arm (8) provide the transmission of water. Since the second nozzles (12) are closer to the connection chamber (6), the water is enabled to be transmitted through the second nozzles (12) at a high flow rate. Thus, intensive washing is provided in the area closer to the center.
In an embodiment of the present invention, the dishwasher (1) comprises the spraying member (5) having four opposite spraying arms (7) which are connected to the connection chamber (6). The spraying member (5) comprises four spraying arms (7) positioned opposite to each other so as to form a plus sign. The length of each spraying arm (7) is different.
By means of the present invention, a dishwasher (1) is realized, comprising a spraying member (5) with increased washing efficiency by means of the spraying arms (7) provided thereon and having different dimensions. By means of the different lengths of the spraying arms (7) and by means of the different positions and different rotational directions of the spray arms (8) provided on the spraying members (5), a plurality of washing geometries can be realized. Thus, the washing performance is increased.
