Abstract

La présente invention se rapporte à la reconnaissance optique de caractères (OCR). La présente invention concerne un dispositif électronique qui obtient une image d'entrée comprenant un contenu textuel à extraire à partir de l'image d'entrée et qui détermine que le contenu textuel a une orientation de texte d'entrée qui est distincte d'une orientation de texte cible. Un angle de rotation est déterminé sur la base de l'orientation de texte d'entrée et de l'orientation de texte cible. L'image d'entrée est tournée selon l'angle de rotation pour obtenir l'orientation du texte cible. Le dispositif électronique reconnaît le contenu textuel dans l'image d'entrée tournée ayant l'orientation de texte cible.
