Abstract

The present disclosure relates to the technical field of communications. Provided are a policy configuration method and apparatus, and an electronic device, a computer-readable storage medium and a computer program product. When being applied to an NWDAF, the method comprises: acquiring historical data corresponding to a ProSe analytics ID; generating a data analysis result according to the historical data; and sending the data analysis result to a PCF, such that the PCF configures a ProSe-related policy according to the data analysis result. When being applied to a PCF, the method comprises: receiving a data analysis result sent by an NWDAF; and configuring a ProSe-related policy according to the data analysis result. A data analysis capability of an NWDAF network element is used to provide support for a PCF network element to configure a ProSe-related policy, such that the generated ProSe-related policy can flexibly match a dynamically changing network environment, and the execution of the ProSe-related policy can improve the rationality of network resource allocation.
