Abstract

A beverage can with a cap characterised in that a cap (1) is attached to the beverage can (2), with the top rim (1b) and bottom rim (1c) located on the inner surface of the cap.

Description

Beverage can with a cap
The object of the invention is a beverage can with a cap.
A well-known commercial product are so-called kinder surprises in the form of an egg or other oval-shaped item containing some kind of gadget, such as a miniature cartoon or toy. Eggs of this type are designed mainly for children and are sold as separate products.
The purpose of the invention is to enable the use of such a "surprise egg" with beverages sold in cans.
The solution to this problem was to develop a beverage can with a cap attached to the top, which would allow a 'surprise egg' to be fixed in it.
Moreover, the purpose of the solution according to the invention is to enable the can to be closed/covered with a cap during a temporary break in drinking the beverage, which prevents insects (wasps/flies) or other contaminants from falling into the beverage, especially in the case of canned beverages sold e.g. to children or at various outdoor events.
The beverage can with a cap is characterised by the fact that a cap is attached onto the beverage can, with a top rim and a bottom rim located on its inner surface.
It is preferable that the cap has a flange on its outer surface.
It is preferable that the top and bottom rims are located on the inner surface of the flange.
It is preferable that the top and bottom rims are located directly on the inner surface of the cap.
It is preferable that the top rim of the cap is wider than the bottom rim.
It is preferable that the top rim of the cap is in form of protrusions.
It is preferable that the top rim of the cap is in form of a ring.
It is preferable that the top rim of the cap is in form of a half-ring.
It is preferable that the top rim of the cap is in form of at least two side wings.
It is preferable that the top rim of the cap is in form of at least two top wings.
It is preferable that a surprise egg is placed inside the cap.
It is preferable that the cap is made of plastic.
The object of the invention in a non-limiting manufacturing example is shown in the figure, where: fig. 1 shows a beverage can with a flanged cap attached to it, with section 'a' magnified, fig. 2 shows a side view of the flanged cap, fig. 3 shows a bottom view of the flanged cap, fig. 4 shows a beverage can with a flangeless cap attached to it, fig. 5 shows a side view of the flangeless cap, fig. 6 shows an axonometric view of a cap with the top rim in form of protrusions, fig. 7 shows a bottom view of the cap with the top rim in form of protrusions, fig. 8 shows an axonometric view of a cap with the top rim in form of a ring, fig. 9 shows a bottom view of the cap with the top rim in form of a ring, fig. 10 shows an axonometric view of the cap with the top rim in form of a ring, fig. 11 shows a bottom view of the cap with the top rim in form of a ring, fig. 12 shows an axonometric view of the cap with the top rim in form of a half-ring, fig. 13 shows a bottom view of the cap with the top rim in form of a half-ring, fig. 14 shows an axonometric view of a cap with the top rim in form of side wings, fig. 15 shows a bottom view of the cap with the top rim in form of side wings, fig. 16 shows an axonometric view of a cap with the top rim in form of top wings, fig. 17 shows a bottom view of the cap with the top rim in form of top wings.
In the first embodiment of the invention the beverage can 1 has a cap 2 attached on its upper edge, which has a flange la on its outer surface, on the inner surface of the flange la of the cap 1, the top rim lb and the bottom rim lc are located, the rim lb has protrusions on its edges, allowing to block the cap 1 so that it is not shifted deeper onto the can 2, as well as to hold the surprise egg 3, as shown in fig. 6-17, inside the cap, and allowing to remove the surprise egg 3 from the cap 1 after moving it with a finger to a vertical position.
The bottom rim lc of the cap 1 is narrower than the top rim lb and allows the cap 1 to slide onto the upper edge of the can 2 and to keep the cap 1 on the can 2 ("click" effect).
In the first embodiment of the invention, the top rim lb of the cap 1 is in form of protrusions.
In other embodiments of the invention, the beverage cap 2 has no outer flange la, and the top rim lb and the bottom rim lc are located directly on the inner surface of the cap 1.
In the embodiments shown in fig. 6 - 7, the top rim lb of the cap 1 is in form of protrusions.
In the embodiments shown in fig. 8 - 11, the top rim lb of the cap 1 is in form of a ring.
In the embodiments shown in fig. 12 - 13, the top rim lb of the cap 1 is in form of a half-ring.
In the embodiments shown in fig. 14 - 15, the top rim lb of the cap 1 is in form of four side wings in which the surprise egg 3 is fixed.
In the embodiments shown in fig. 16 - 17, the top rim lb of the cap 1 is in form of two top wings in which the surprise egg 3 is fixed.
It is preferable that the cap 1 is made of plastic.
