Abstract

A biometric measurement device comprises a base having a proximal end, a distal end and a length therebetween, the length having a top surface, a light emitter positioned on the surface of the base, a clip body having a proximal end, a distal end and a length therebetween, the length having a top surface and a bottom surface, a connector connecting the clip body to the base, an band having a first end region and a second end region, wherein the first end region is connected to the base and the second end region is releasably connected to the top surface of the clip body, and a light detecting sensor positioned on the band, such that light detecting sensor is underneath the bottom surface of the clip body and opposing the light emitter when the band is releasably secured to the clip body.
