Abstract
A multi-layer electrowetting display device, a preparation method therefor, and a use thereof. The multi-layer electrowetting display device comprises a transmission layer, a plurality of intermediate layers, and a reflection layer which are arranged in a stacked manner; individual sealed cavities are formed between the transmission layer and intermediate layers adjacent thereto and between the reflection layer and intermediate layers thereto; the sealed cavities are filled with a fluid; each intermediate layer comprises a double-sided conductive substrate; and each of the two conductive surfaces of the double-sided conductive substrate serves as a drive electrode for fluid movement or deformation on the respective two sides of the intermediate layers. The present multilayer electrowetting display device is relatively thin, the problem of stereopsis and crosstalk is reduced, and the contrast ratio is high.
