Abstract
The subject matter of the present invention is an electrical traction device suitable for trucks, freight vehicles and tow vehicles that is aimed at solving the drawbacks described in the prior art by using an electrical device (100) provided with a differential axle (30) and driven by an electric motor (50) that enables it to be suited to and applied in trucks, freight vehicles or tow vehicles to tow machines or trailers in order to replace the auxiliary towing axle or the conventional drive shaft, driven by combustion, that is used in these vehicle models. This new structural arrangement provides means to control the auxiliary traction drive, thus improving fuel consumption, increasing braking control and total gross weight loading capacity and the service life of the original braking system of the vehicle.

ANTECEDENTES DA INVENÇÃO BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
