  • the fixed body (2) is brought in contact with one vertebra and then the movable body (3) is moved and brought in contact with another vertebra.
  • the locking member (7) is rotated about its own axis and moved towards the movable body (3), thus locking the movable body (3) in its position.
  • the guiding member (6) is rotated about its own axis and thus the stud member (5) is enabled to be moved through the movable body (3) in the direction of the vertebra.
  • the rotation of the guiding member (6) about its own axis is continued until the stud member (5) is inserted into the vertebra and the second screw hole (3.4.1) and the stud screw hole (5.11) are brought to the same axis, and at this stage the rotation of the guiding member (6) is completed.
  • a screw is passed through the first screw hole (2.4.1), and thus the fixed body (2) and the vertebra that the fixed body (2) is in contact with are connected to each other.
  • the same screw is passed through the second screw hole (3.4.1) and the stud screw hole (5.1.1) to rigidly connect the movable body (3) to the vertebra that contacts the movable body (3).
