Spirulina algae
Proteins are vital for health, skincare and haircare. Some amino acids are essential for producing collagen and maintaining skin elasticity. Also, by providing body’s necessary proteins, producing collagen becomes easier and hair grows faster and better. Spirulina contains more than 60% of proteins, which is the highest amount of protein in the world and can provide all of the essential amino acids for the body. Spirulina algae is a greenwater algae with fabulous features that can be a real lifesaver for health and beauty fans. Spirulina contains lots of protein, vitamin, minerals and antioxidants and can solve hair and skin cellular and nutritional deficiencies efficiently.
Body cells usually get contaminated by heavy metals due to air pollution, unhealthy diet and consumption of different chemicals, which causes cell destruction and various diseases. Spirulina algae absorbs heavy metals and removes them from body and skin cells. This algae is full of Chlorophyll, which is one of the best natural cleansers and can be effective in toxin and heavy metals’ removal and give you a smoother and brighter skin. Also, Spirulina contains a fatty acid called gamma-Linolenic acid (GLA for short), which helps body overcome inflammation. This fatty acid helps in maintaining skin integrity and fights with inflammation and skin conditions like Atopic dermatitis (eczema).
Increase of free radicals on skin due to sun rays, air pollution and unhealthy diet, causes wrinkles, aging and skin darkening. Spirulina contains powerful antioxidants that can easily neutralize free radicals and protect body skin.
Spirulina slows down the aging process by neutralizing free radicals, removing toxins and heavy metals, and increasing cellular metabolism. One of the amazing antioxidants in Spirulina is Phycocyanin which is blue and has an outstanding effect on cell renewal and skin repair.
Spirulina is rich with Vitamin A, E, and B12 and can cure damaged and loose skin, rejuvenate and brighten skin, and prevent aging process and free radical damaging skin. Spirulina’s vitamins help the body produce new and healthy cells faster and provides you with a younger and brighter skin.
Spirulina strengthens body’s immune system. So, by strengthening the immune system, it naturally helps the skin which is the most external layer of the body and is exposed to all types of pollution and damages remain healthier and brighter. Spirulina has detoxification and cleansing effect which can help removing dark and brown skin spots.
Spirulina algae is a powerful anti-bacterial and anti-viral, and can disinfect and remove harmful bacteria that cause acne and pimples. Spirulina can even help remove warts and is an easy cure for warts.
Hydroquinone
Hydroquinone makes the skin smoother and brighter. One of the reasons that causes spots on the skin, is factors that trigger the synthesis of Melanin, such as sunlight and ultraviolet rays. Hydroquinone can brighten the skin by synthesis and controlling Melanin. This element is usually used in curing hyperpigmentation diseases such as freckles, inflammation, skin redness, . This element can be used on its own but it is usually found in combination with Alpha hydroxyl acid, Corticosteroids, Retinoids, Sunscreens.
Isotretinoin
Isotretion is a retinoid that when, administered in pharmacologic dosages inhibits sebaceous gland function and keratinization. The exact mechanism of action of isotretinoin is unknown.
Clinical impnovement in nodular acne occurs in association with a reduction in sebum secretion as a result, spots left by acne will disappear gradually afte topical use of isotretinoin.
Ascorbic acid
The effect of Ascorbic acid on the skin is quite clear. This vitamin is essential for the formation of blood vesselss, cartilage, muscles and collagen in bones. It is also vital for the body’s recovery. Ascorbic acid is a vitamin and a nutrition that is soluble in water and is often used in cosmetic formulation, skincare, haircare and personal care products. It is a natural skin builder that is found in derm and epiderm in high levels. The level of Vitamin C in epiderm is higher than in derm, even though the concentration of this vitamin in both layers is approximately same as other antioxidants that are soluble in water, including Uric acid and Glutathione. But aging decreases levels of Vitamin C in derm and epiderm. Being exposed to high levels of ultraviolet rays or pollutants can also decrease the amount of the vitamin. Ascorbic acid on skin surface usually transfers through blood flow.
Special carrier proteins for the effect of Ascorbic acid on skin, are found in all layers of skin. Keratinocytes have a high capacity for transferring Ascorbic acid. Taking edible Vitamin C probably helps bringing levels of vitamin up, since epiderm does not have many blood vessels. However when the plasma vitamin C level is saturated, the concentration on the skin does not increase anymore, so you can enrich your skin with Vitamin C by applying creams locally. Absorption of Vitamin C by skin relies heavily on pH. Local effect of Ascorbic acid helps transferring epiderm to the skin layers beneath. Vitamin C stability in local solutions is a concern, because getting exposed to air, heat or light might gradually destruct it. Although the natural form of Ascorbic acid is effective for local treatment, stable artificial derivations such as Ascorbat phosphate are used because of their limited penetration and effect on the skin.in addition, Ascorbic acid due to its antioxidant properties prevents the oxidation of hydroquinon and isotretinoin. As a result, it increases the half-life of these materials.
Mometasone
Mometasone is a powerful steroidal anti-inflammatory drug, used for treating systemic symptoms of inflammation or itchiness in chronic or acute malfunctions that react to corticosteroids, especially where the skin is thick. Mometasone cream and ointment are prescribed in treating some skin diseases such as Dermatitis, Psoriasis, and Lichen planus. Mometasone ointment is a local corticosteroid which functions by decreasing inflammatory reactions and correcting immune system responses in body. Mometasone ointment (for skin), is a local steroid that functions by decreasing the effect of chemicals in body which cause inflammation, redness and swelling.in this way,it prevents the side effects of hydroquinone and isotretinoin.
Ethanol
Acne treatment with alcohol is only one of home remedies of acne and by simply searching in Google, you can find so many other solutions as well. Isopropyl is the technical term for alcohol and experts mostly use this term. Alcohol has an anti-bacterial feature which is why it is used for cleaning wounds and disinfecting surfaces. Also, you can usually see alcohol as the ingredient on hand sanitizers. When alcohol gets on the skin, it dissolves bacteria and disinfects the spot. On the other hand, alcohol vapors fast and is therefore used for medical purposes and injections as well.
Production steps in a small scale (Laboratory): First we dissolve the soluble elements in water during the aqueous phase (5g of Ascorbic acid, 100mg of Mometasone, 5g of Spirulina powder, dissolved in 70cc of distillated water in room temperature) and also we dissolve organic phase elements such as: Hydroquinone 4gr, Isotertinoin 50 mg in 30cc of Ethanol and then we combine both solutions to make it ready for packaging.
Production steps in an industrial scale: in order to produce this solution we need 3 containers made of stainless steel equipped with waterfront and mixer with at least 100 liter volume. Container 1 and 2 are connected to container 3 by pipes and pumps.
We collect 65 liter of distillated water with a temperature of 20 to 25 centigrade in container 1 and we turn the mixer on and then add 5kg of Ascorbic acid slowly. In the laboratory we dissolve 100g of Mometasone powder in 5 liters of water and add to container 1. Then 5kg of Spirulina algae powder is added to the container and we mix till the solution is monotonous.
Simultaneously, we collect 25 liters of pure Ethanol in container 2 and turn the mixer on in 20 to 25 centigrade and 4kg of Hydroquinone is slowly added. Then we dissolve 50g of Isotertinoin in 5 liters of pure Ethanol in laboratory phase and add it to the container to mix it up.
We transfer the solutions of container 1 and 2 by pump and silicon pipes to container 3 and mix it till we get a monotonous solution and get ready for packaging. The amount of ingredients can be different, considering the intensity of the disease and this way, the solution prevents side effects.
