Abstract
The invention relates to a support device (90) for an electrolysis device (10) having a plurality of electrolysis cells (12), comprising connection contacts (72) for electrical coupling to respective electrodes of the electrolysis cells (12). According to the invention, the support device (90) has at least one voltage detection unit for detecting a cell voltage of each of the electrolysis cells (12) and an evaluation unit (18), which is coupled in terms of signal technology to the at least one voltage detection unit, for determining at least one cell characteristic or at least one state of health for each of the electrolysis cells (12), and a number of controllable electronic current source circuits (42) corresponding to the plurality of electrolysis cells (12), wherein each of the current source circuits (42) is electrically coupled to electrodes of each of the electrolysis cells (12) and is designed to supply the respective electrolysis cell (12) individually with a direct current that can be adjusted depending on a current source control signal.
