Abstract

The present disclosure relates to payment technology. In one aspect, the present disclosure provides a method of managing a transaction initiated by a user, the transaction being initiated by a transaction request. The method comprises determining if the user is authorized to proceed with the transaction based on a transaction data included in the transaction request and user information, the transaction data representing at least one of a product, and a category of the product, the user information representing a type of transaction the user is allowed to transact; and proceeding with the transaction in response to the determination if the user is authorized to proceed with the transaction.
