Description

TITLE OF THE INVENTION
AN INTELLIGENT AUTOMATION SYSTEM TO REDEEM THE OFFERS AND DISCOUNTS
Priority Claim:
[0001] This application claims priority from the provisional application numbered 202221025654 filed with Indian Patent Office, Mumbai on 3rd May 2022 and postdated to 3rd June 2023 entitled “An intelligent automation system for the customers to redeem the offers and discounts'', the entirety of which is expressly incorporated herein by reference.
PREAMBLE TO THE DESCRIPTION:
[0002] The following specification describes the invention and the manner in which it is to be performed:
DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION:
Technical field of the invention
[0003] The present invention relates in general to an intelligent automation system to redeem the offers and discounts offered by banks, network corporations (visa, MasterCard etc.), large retailers (like reliance digital, flipkart, amazon etc.). The present invention relates to a system, which enables a customer to automatically choose the bank network (Bank accounts) and payment mode (Debit card, credit card, prepaid card, wallets and new payment methods) available with the customer to redeem the preferred offers and discounts.
Background of the invention [0004] In the existing times, most of the people use online platforms to buy products and services as it is more convenient. According to the survey, masses of transactions happen daily through card payments, such as debit cards, credit cards, prepaid cards, and wallets in both online and in-shop purchasing.
[0005] Understanding this, various bank merchants and vendors have started giving various discounts and offers like rewards, coupon codes, deals etc. Basically, it provides benefit to the customer after the redemption of the offer. Considering this, various applications have been developed which provides offer for the various payments in a single platform, wherein the customer can buy the product or service in the same platform using their preferred payment cards such as debit card, credit card wallet to redeem best offer.
[0006] However, these applications have drawbacks while processing payments and redeeming discounts, such as inefficient results in providing offers and discounts to the customer. The existing systems fails to provide the link between the customers online or offline payment behavior, merchants offers and type of card to be used for the payment to avail the profitable offers and deals to the customer. Such systems also lacks in identifying offers in real time or GPS across merchants (where offers can be redeemed) and fails to recommend the best profitable offer. Therefore, the customers are unaware of the offers, as the existing systems are inefficient to provide the best resources to the customer in choosing the best payment mode to redeem profitable offer.
[0007] For instance, US Patent Application No. US10210345B2 titled “Intelligent credential selection system” discloses a system, method, or computer program product for generating communicable linkages that collectively provide a cloudbased dynamic credential selection and implementation system. The system generates a user profile containing user preferences, historic trends, and user resources based on information collected from a user and user associated accounts. The dynamic credential selection and implementation system is triggered by the user signaling the system of a proposed transaction. The system requests updated resource characteristics from resource managers. The user profile, resource characteristics and transaction characteristics are evaluated and ranked by the dynamic credential selection and implementation system before completion of the transaction, which in some embodiments requires user approval of the selected resource.
[0008] For instance, US Patent Application No. US8423401B2 titled “System and method for redeeming vouchers” discloses an improved system and method for creating, distributing and storing vouchers. The method includes a loyalty system obtaining a loyalty card account having a unique identifier and loyalty points associated therewith, accessing a loyalty database utilizing the unique identifier, converting at least a portion of the loyalty points to a first value associated with a first merchant, saving the first value in a first database associated with the loyalty card, converting at least a portion of the loyalty points to a second value associated with a second merchant, saving the second value along with other voucher information as an electronic voucher in a second database associated with the loyalty card, redeeming the first value at a first merchant and redeeming the electronic voucher at a second merchant.
[0009] For instance, US Patent Application No. US20180039989A1 titled “Online transaction efficiency improvement system” discloses a system, method, or computer program product for generating communicable linkages that collectively provide a cloud-based dynamic credential selection and implementation system.
[0010] For instance, US Patent Application No. US20110231305A1 titled “Systems and Methods to Identify Spending Patterns” discloses a system including a transaction handler to process transactions, a data warehouse to store transaction data recording the transactions, a portal configured to determine online activity tracking data, and at least one processor coupled with the data warehouse and the portal and configured to identify, using the transaction data and the online activity tracking data, first users who have not been to a website of a first merchant within a predetermined period of time, identify a set of transactions of the first users, and determine a spending pattern in the set of transactions of the first users.
[0011] Hence, there exists a need for an efficient system for intelligent automation to redeem the offers and discounts to provide the customers better money savings. The system should enable payment assessment to choose across multiple banks and payment mode, based on best discount to the customer.
Summary of the invention:
[0012] The present invention overcomes the drawbacks of the prior art by disclosing an intelligent automation system for the customer to redeem the offers and discounts. The system of the present invention comprises a customer device on which the application is installed. The customer device enables the user to enter all the user's bank details and bank accounts into the application. Furthermore, all payment cards associated with respective banks are entered.
[0013] The system intends to make it simple for a user to buy/provide any product/service while also providing the most profitable offers and discounts to the user. The users' linked bank accounts and payment cards are further integrated with the server, which subsequently processes the associated bank accounts and card payments to provide the best offer. The server is integrated with several bank servers to extract the various offers provided by different financial institutions in response to the user's product/service query. The system further comprises a Global Positioning System (GPS) intelligence integrated with the server to detect offline retailers for extracting plurality of offers from multiple banks in real time and store this information in the server.
[0014] The system allows the user to check and verify the specific offers for the specific cards even before signing up into the system. Further, the system provides customised requirements based on the user's payment behaviour, wherein the user's payment behaviour is acquired through the use of data, analytics, and Artificial Intelligence. The server (105) is integrated with various other bank servers (106) to extract the various offers provided by different banks as per the user’s query pertaining to online payments. Examples of bank accounts include a deposit account, a savings account, an investment account, a money market account, a time deposit, a demand deposit, a pre-paid account, a credit account, a debit/deposit account, a nonmonetary user profile comprising information associated with the user, or the like.
[0032] The bank servers (106) integrate the details available in the server (105) into the bank application (108). The stored customer payment cards detail (104) and, bank and account details (103) are integrated with the server (105). Further, the information related to offers and discounts from bank server (106) and the information related to offers and discounts from different cards such as Rupay- Visa/Mastercard are integrated to the server (105). A GPS intelligence (109) is integrated with the server (105) to detect offline retailers/merchants and store the information in the server (105). A customer device's display (107) prompts the user to select an automatically linked bank card for payments with the best deals leading to intelligent savings. More particularly, the customer device’s display (107) presents one or more relevant coupons on the customer’s device (101). In certain instances, the customer device’s display (107) also depicts the coupon data associated with each of the one or more relevant coupons in relation to the product alongside each of the product details. As an example, the coupon data comprise a benefit (for example, a percentage value of discount) that can be offered by the relevant coupon as well as the coupon's validity date.
[0033] In an embodiment, the server (105) may include suitable logic, circuitry, interfaces, and/or code that may be configured to store, maintain, and execute one or more software platforms and programs, such as such as Artificial Intelligence (Al) programs and machine learning programs, online chat applications, and one or more databases that include historical and personal data of one or more users.
