- This automatic pressure sore prevention system reduces risks of bed users having pressure sores caused by being bed-bound and/or lying still in any position for a long time. Pressure sores are caused by death of skin cells and subcutaneous tissues due to pressure at tuberosity points and pressure from outside materials. This problem can occur to people of any gender and age. Complications from pressure sores lead to hospitalization, particularly among elderly patients or patients with limited mobility, and cause psychological effects on patients such as pain from wounds, length of hospitalization and lower quality of life. Among patients aged 70 years and up, pressure sores increases the likelihood of death by 4 -6 times and patients are more likely to die as patients grow older.

Description
AUTOMATIC ELECTRIC AIR MATTRESS FRAME FOR PREVENTING PRESSURE SORES
Technical Field
Engineering related to the automatic electric air mattress frame for preventing pressure sores.
Background Art
This automatic pressure sore prevention system reduces risks of bed users having pressure sores caused by being bed-bound and/or lying still in any position for a long time.
According to the Thai petty patent for the bed monitoring and motion warning system, Application No. 1803000663, bed users’ movements can be processed and data on patients’ movements in various positions can be collected and recorded at all times and patients and nurses can be warned. However, the aforementioned monitoring system is unable to arrange bed users’ positions appropriately and prevent pressure sores. This automatic pressure sore prevention system uses bed users’ motion data from sensors of the bed monitoring and motion warning system developed in the past to enable this automatic pressure sore prevention to manage body positions at risk of pressure sores effectively in real-time and remotely.
Description of Embodiments
The automatic electric air mattress frame for preventing pressure sores consists of a number long cylindrical electric air cushions connected on a flat plane with an undulating top surface. The interior of long cylindrical air cushions is hollow to contain air. One position of long cylindrical air cushions is installed with an air supply tube. The position of the air
supply tube is installed with a valve cap connected to the pressure sensor, which functions to measure air pressure in long cylindrical air cushions.
