LANDING GEAR BRACKET
Technical Field:
The present invention relates to a landing gear fitting that can be used to transport landing gear by mounting it on the chassis of small and medium-sized flying vehicles, in particular helicopters and flying cars.
State of the Art:
Today, flying car designs are increasing rapidly. It is thought that flying cars will replace normal cars in the future. In addition, helicopters and especially small and medium-sized helicopters are widely used today. A durable landing gear is used for the landing of these flying vehicles. These vehicles are generally equipped with a skid type landing gear. Conventional skid landing gear systems usually include two longitudinal skid tubes for ground contact and two cross tubes connecting the skid tubes to the vehicle body, although alternative designs are also possible.
The utility model application US10858091B2 describes the” Landing Gear with a Helicopter Skid". In a first aspect, there is a helicopter skid landing gear assembly including a front cross tube configured to interconnect two skid tubes; and a rear cross tube configured to interconnect two skid tubes; wherein at least one of the cross tubes comprises a monolithic metallic tube having a cross-section with a round exterior shape and an elliptical hollow portion therein. In a second aspect, there is a method for retrofitting a helicopter with a landing gear assembly; the method including providing a front cross tube and a rear cross tube, at least one of the front cross tubes and the rear cross tube comprises a monolithic metallic tube having a cross-section with a substantially round exterior shape and an elliptical hollow portion therein; and connecting the front cross tube and rear cross tube to a fuselage.
The utility model application US8919694B2 describes the” Skid Landing Gear System". A skid landing gear assembly is provided. One embodiment of the landing gear assembly may include a first and a second skid member, and a forward and an aft cross member. The forward and aft cross-members may have integrated attachment members coupled to a forward portion and an aft portion of the first and second skid members. In more particular embodiments, the cross-members may be beam members with open crosssections, and the skid members may be beam members with a closed cross-section.
The landing gear used in helicopters is mentioned above. These landing gears are usually attached to the helicopter chassis. It is produced and used together with the chassis. This process is impossible or very difficult when the landing gear is damaged, or it is necessary to replace it with a new landing gear. To the chassis, welding, etc. landing gears that are connected by a method or manufactured in such a way that they are one-piece with the chassis cannot be removed. In addition, these landing gears are not compatible with flying cars.
As a result, a new technology is needed that can overcome the disadvantages mentioned above.
Description of the Invention:
This invention is a landing gear connection piece that can overcome the disadvantages mentioned above, and its feature is; The body is made of high strength and light material, the body is molded, bearings that can be produced in different diameters, clamps that fix the shafts positioned on the bearings, easy production and low cost.
The body of the invention is produced as a single piece in a mold. In this way, it has an easy production process. The materials used in the production of the body are 7000 series aluminum and similar composite materials. Since it has a light but durable structure, it does not have a negative effect on the use of the vehicle and the vehicle is prevented from being damaged. In this way, the service life is long. There are 3 bearings on the body, one on the upper part of the chassis bearing and two on the lower part of the slide shaft
bearing. These bearings can be produced in different sizes according to the diameters of the shafts to be specially positioned. There are clamps that ensure that the shafts to be positioned on the beds remain fixed. The clamps are fixed to the body with the help of screws.
Due to the invention, the landing gear can be easily replaced when damaged or optionally. It has a more useful structure.
It is easy to install due to the easy fixing of the parts that make up the invention, and the costs are low due to the short assembly time. Moreover, the invention has a solid construction.

Description of the Invention:
The invention consists of a body (1) produced as a mold, the chassis bearing (2) that enables the connection piece to be connected by bearing a shaft on the chassis, two slide shaft bearings (3) bearing the connection shafts of the skid type landing gear, the chassis bearing (2) and the slide. It has the bearing clamp (4), which ensures the fixation of the shafts positioned on the shaft bearing (3), the clamp screws (5) that enable the bearing clamp (4) to be fixed to the body (1), and the body holes (6) that are opened to the surface in order to increase and lighten the strength of the body (1).

Detailed Description of The Invention:
The parts constituting the invention are basically; body (1), chassis bearing (2), slide shaft bearing (3), bearing clamp (4), clamp screws (5) and body holes (6).
The invention has a C type body (1) with open ends. The body (1) is produced in mold form from 7000 series aluminum and similar composite materials. Hexagonal body holes (6) are opened on the body (1). In this way, it has light weight and high strength. A chassis bearing (2) is opened in the upper part of the body (1). It bears a shaft on the chassis of the vehicle on which the invention will be mounted. It can be produced in different diameters according to the diameter of the shaft on the chassis. There are two slide shaft bearings (3) at both ends of the body (1) at the bottom. The slide shaft bearing (3), on which the shafts of the slide-type landing gear will be mounted, can be produced in different diameters according to the diameters of the shafts. In order to fix the shafts placed on the chassis bearing (2) and the slide shaft bearings (3), the bearing clamp (4) is placed on the open parts. Clamp screws (5) placed in the screw holes on both sides of the bearing clamp (4) fix the bearing clamp (4) to the body (1).
As an example of the use of the invention, in Figure-3, a shaft belonging to the chassis bearing (2) on the upper part of the body (1) is positioned, and a skid type landing gear is positioned on the two slide shaft bearings (3) on the lower part of the body (1).
Claims
1- The invention is related to the landing gear connection piece and its feature is; a body (1) produced in a mold, chassis bearing (2), which enables the connection piece to be connected by bearing a shaft on the chassis,
- two slide shaft bearings (3), which support the connecting shafts of the skid type landing gear,
- the bearing clamp (4), which ensures the fixing of the shafts positioned on the chassis bearing (2) and the slide shaft bearing (3), clamp screws (5) that secure the bearing clamp (4) to the body (1) and
- the body (1) has body holes (6) opened to the surface in order to increase and lighten the strength of the body (1).
