Abstract

The invention relates to a console (1) for an indoor sports device comprising a cooling means (2) for cooling a user of the indoor sports device, an indoor sports device comprising such a console (1), and also a kit comprising a console (1) according to the present invention and an indoor sports device configured to be used with the console (1).

TITLE OF THE INVENTION: DESK FOR SPORTS DEVICE COMPRISING A MEANS OF COOLING THE USER

The invention relates to a desk for an indoor sports device, such as an exercise bike, comprising a cooling means, such as a fan, for a user of said indoor sports device, as well as to a an indoor sports device comprising such a desk and a kit.

Numerous sports devices are known from the state of the art allowing their users to practice one or more sports in the comfort of their home or sports halls.

However, in contrast to many outdoor sports, all indoor sports devices are static in their location, which causes their users to overheat. At the same time, users increasingly want to perform tasks requiring support while exercising. For example, users may want to have a computer in front of them for personal or even business purposes.

In this context, CN107174786A discloses an indoor exercise bike (i.e. an exercise bike) intended for cycling in virtual reality. The exercise bike includes virtual reality glasses, a frame including a roof plate and vertical plates where multiple sources of air projection are arranged.

Document US6881176 discloses an indoor training bike comprising a screen (possibly touchscreen) placed in front of the user, various sensors and performance calculation means, as well as optional fans. This is a virtual reality device intended to motivate the user to increase their performance by immersing them in a particular context, such as a bicycle race.

However, these devices, specific to virtual reality, are, on the one hand, complex in their implementation and expensive, and on the other hand of a size impractical for their use in an apartment. Furthermore, these devices do not include any means of supporting personal effects (such as a laptop computer) since the aim is to immerse the user in a virtual reality. These devices are not very flexible given their objectives (virtual reality).

Document USD934406S discloses a fan system attachable to an exercise bike. The system described in this document appears to be able to be attached to an exercise bike in order to cool the user. However, it requires adequate support which requires the presence of a handlebar.

Document US2021219713 discloses a stationary exercise bike with a “desktop tablet”. In addition, this tablet can be removed from the bike and used as an independent table. However, this device does not include a cooling system.

The aim of the invention is therefore to overcome the disadvantages of the prior art by proposing a console dedicated to the use of an indoor sports device.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

To do this, the invention thus relates, in its broadest acceptance, to a desk for an indoor sports device comprising a cooling means for a user of said indoor sports device.

One of the technical advantages of the desk according to the present invention may be that it can be used with several types of indoor sports devices, which demonstrates its versatility.

Another technical advantage of the desk according to the present invention may be to be able to store it independently of the indoor sports device(s) for which it is intended to be used.

Another technical advantage of the desk according to the present invention can therefore be its independence with respect to the indoor sports device for which it is intended. Thus, the desk according to the present invention can be easily customizable by the user, and this customization can therefore be applicable to several indoor sports devices that the user could have.

The object of the present invention further relates to an indoor sports device comprising a desk as defined herein. As the desk according to the present invention can be adaptable, it is possible to have an indoor sports device physically connected to this desk. The desk becomes a constituent and possibly detachable element of the indoor sports device.

In addition, the object of the present invention relates to a kit comprising a desk as defined herein and an indoor sports device configured to be used with said desk.

DEFINITIONS

By “desktop”, it is understood in the context of the present invention a piece of furniture on several legs, on which an object such as a laptop computer, a book, a flat screen, can be placed or fixed at viewing height. a computer keyboard, a computer mouse, etc. The desk according to the present invention actually has an orientation: the bottom of the desk being represented by the parts of the desk intended to be as close as possible to or in contact with the ground on which it rests and the top of the desk being represented by the parts of the desk intended to be as far away from the ground on which it rests. The front side of the desk (equivalent to the “front side of the desk”) is the side where the user of the indoor sports device faces the desk. The rear face of the console is therefore the opposite side of the front face of the console.

By “indoor sports device” is understood in the context of the present invention a device to be implemented in a covered place such as a home or a gymnasium, allowing its user to practice sport. For example, such a device can be an exercise bike (also called an exercise bike), a treadmill, a treadmill, an elliptical bike, a stepper, a Roman weight training chair, etc.

By “cooling means” is understood in the context of the present invention a means making it possible to reduce the temperature of the user of the indoor sports device, such as a fan, a water spray device, an air conditioner, a mister, an air purifier, etc. DETAILED DESCRIPTION

In a particular embodiment, the console according to the present invention can be characterized in that the console can include a support shelf.

By “support shelf” is understood in the context of the present invention a flat surface intended to receive and support one or more objects placed on it.

The support shelf can be made of any rigid material allowing such support. Advantageously, the rigid material may be a biodegradable material, such as wood or a cellulosic material. Alternatively, the rigid material may be a recyclable material.

Advantageously, the support tablet can be mounted in a sliding manner so that it can be moved closer or further away from the user of the indoor sports device.

Advantageously, the rigid biodegradable material may be sensitive to sustained exposure to water, making it more biodegradable. Such a material may be a cellulosic material such as cardboard, in particular cardboard reinforced for example with a wooden or metal structure (therefore recyclable).

Preferably, the support tablet can be adapted to receive at least one personal item of the user such as a telephone, a laptop, a watch, keys and/or a wallet.

The support tablet can also be covered with a non-slip coating to prevent objects from falling from the support tablet, in particular if the desk may be subjected to vibrations linked to the use of an indoor sports device. .

Preferably, the support shelf may comprise a passage for air flow arranged on the path of an air flow coming from said cooling means.

For example, the support shelf may have a shape allowing the passage of an air flow. For example, the support shelf may have a recess, a hollow or an opening allowing the passage of an air flow and which may be dedicated to this purpose.

Preferably, the support shelf may comprise a C- or L-shaped part.

More preferably, the C or the L can be oriented so that the support tablet is configured to partially surround the user of said indoor sports device. Thus, the user can place his personal staff on the parts of the support tablet which surround him while benefiting from a flow of air to cool him.

In one embodiment, the desk according to the present invention can be adapted to receive at least one item of clothing or a towel. For example, the desk may include a towel rack, such as a horizontal bar placed under the support shelf or attached to one of the feet of the desk. Advantageously, the support shelf can comprise an oblong or rectangular opening, for example placed close to one of its edges, thus making it possible to fulfill the function of a clothing rack or towel rack.

Thus in a particular embodiment the console according to the present invention can be characterized in that, where appropriate, the support shelf can comprise a passage for air flow, for example in the shape of a C or L, arranged on the path of a flow of air coming from said cooling means.

Even more preferably, the C can be oriented so that it allows the passage of an air flow towards the user. The passage of an air flow can then pass into the hollow of the C. The tablet can advantageously have a flat C shape in its entirety.

Even more preferably, the L can be oriented so that it allows the passage of an air flow towards the user. The passage of an air flow can then pass into the hollow of the L (that is to say in the space between the two bars of the L). The tablet can advantageously have a flat L shape in its entirety. A support shelf can be joined to at least one other support shelf on a desk according to the present invention. Furthermore, a console according to the present invention can be joined to at least one other console according to the present invention. Thus, seen from above, such desks can form patterns combining Cs and/or Ls. For example, the pattern thus formed can resemble an E, an F or several Cs stuck together.

In a particular embodiment, a desk according to the present invention may comprise several support shelves and/or passages for air flow allowing the accommodation of several indoor sports devices, such as exercise bikes.

Indoor sports devices can be placed next to each other in a straight or curved line, or in a circle.

In a particular embodiment, the console comprises at least one means of receiving a container of liquid such as a glass, a cup, a bottle or a can. The consumption of a liquid is obviously a means of refreshing the user, on the one hand by the effect of calorific transfer of heat from the user to the liquid ingested and on the other hand by the provision of water usable for sweating and evaporation at the skin level of this water for the user.

The receiving means for a liquid container can be any known means making it possible to accommodate and stabilize said container, such as a bottle holder, a cup holder, a glass holder.

More preferably, said at least one receiving means for a liquid container can be an opening of suitable shape such as a circular shape in a support shelf.

Thus in a particular embodiment, the console according to the present invention can be characterized in that said console comprises a support shelf, said support shelf preferably comprising at least one reception means for a liquid container such as a glass, a cup, a bottle or a can.

In a particular embodiment, the desk according to the present invention can be characterized in that the indoor sports device can be an exercise bike. In a particular embodiment, the desk according to the present invention can be characterized in that the indoor sports device can be a treadmill, a treadmill, an elliptical bike, a stepper or a weight chair.

Preferably, said desk can be configured to allow the placement of several indoor sports devices. As mentioned above, indoor sports devices can be placed next to each other in a straight or curved line, or even in a circle.

In a particular embodiment, the desk according to the present invention can be characterized in that it comprises at least two feet, for example fixed, where appropriate, to the support shelf, which feet being arranged so as to allow placement of said indoor sports device between said at least two feet.

In the case of a desk that can accommodate several indoor sports devices placed next to each other, particularly in a circle, several feet are necessary for the stability of the desk. The desk can thus include 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 or even 10 feet.

In a particular embodiment, said at least two legs comprise two vertical arms and two horizontal arms connected together by their ends. Such an arrangement allows the desk according to the present invention to be particularly stable.

In a particular embodiment, the desk according to the present invention can be characterized in that the cooling means can be oriented or can be orientable depending on the nature of the indoor sports device.

In a particular embodiment, the console according to the present invention can be characterized in that the cooling means can be a fan, a water spray device, an air conditioner, a mister, etc.

Preferably, the cooling means may be a fan.

Preferably, the cooling means such as a fan may comprise controls arranged so as to be accessible when said user operates said indoor sports device. Preferably, the cooling means such as a fan or a mister can include controls so as to control the quality or strength of the air flow produced by said cooling means.

Preferably, the cooling means, such as a fan, can be adjustable.

Preferably, the cooling means, such as a fan, can be configured so that the air flow generated is directed or orientable towards the user.

In a particular embodiment, the console according to the present invention may comprise several cooling means (identical or different) arranged so as to better expose and refresh the user. The console according to the present invention can then include controls (preferably accessible by the user when the latter operates the indoor sports device) allowing the user to individually control the different means of refreshment.

For example, the desk may include a fan on each of its legs, which fans are directed towards the user. These fans can be supplemented by misters and/or air purifiers that can be operated at will by the user.

In a particular embodiment, the desk according to the present invention can be characterized in that it can comprise at least one storage box.

Preferably, said storage box can be placed between at least two feet, for example fixed to a support shelf as defined above.

Thus in a particular embodiment, the desk according to the present invention can be characterized in that it comprises at least one storage box, preferably said one storage box is placed, where appropriate, between at least two feet such as defined above.

Preferably, said storage box can be configured to receive electricity cables, connection to a communications network and/or a power outlet.

Preferably, said storage box may comprise a sliding bottom. An advantage of a sliding bottom is that it allows cables to pass through underneath the storage box.

Furthermore, said storage box includes a cable passage, in particular on the upper part of the storage box. The orientation of the storage box is the same as that of the music stand.

In a particular embodiment, said desk (1) is made of a biodegradable material, such as wood.

In a particular embodiment, the desk according to the present invention can be characterized in that it can be dismantled and/or foldable to facilitate its storage. For example, the leg(s) of the desk may be detachable, removable and/or foldable. For example, the support shelf(s) may be detachable, removable and/or foldable.

In a particular embodiment, the desk according to the present invention can be characterized in that it can be configured so as to be adjustable in height. For example, the leg(s) can be telescopic, have screwable systems or have additional sections to allow the height of the desk to be adjusted.

By “height”, it is understood in the context of the present invention, the distance between the end intended to be placed on the ground and the end intended to be at sight level of the user. For example, the height can be between 20 centimeters (cm) and 2 meters (m), preferably between 50 cm and 1.80m, or between 60 cm and 1.70m such as between 70 cm and 1. 60m, between 80cm and 1.50m, between 90cm and 1.40m, between 1m and 1.30m, for example between 1.10m and 1.20m.

Advantageously, the desk is sized so as not to obstruct the view of the user of the indoor sports device. For example, the user can place an open laptop on the desk support tablet, and at the same time watch a television placed behind the desk. This is also one of the advantages of an embodiment of the console according to the present invention: by placing the refreshment means under the support tablet, the user's peripheral vision is not obstructed. Furthermore, in a particular embodiment, the desk according to the present invention can be characterized in that it comprises cylinders allowing it to be configurable in height and/or to ensure its stability.

By “cylinders” is understood in the context of the present invention a screw lifting device.

With reference to the figures, a console 1 is shown in different views in which a cooling means 2 can be seen, here taking the form of a fan 9. This fan can include a control 10 for controlling the fan 9 to vary the air flow. Here, the fan comprises a control arranged so as to control the air flow produced, preferably when the user operates said indoor sports device. The desk comprises a support shelf 3 having a C shape allowing a passage for air flow 4 in the hollow of the C. The support shelf 3 comprises a reception means 5 for a container here taking the shape of a circular opening of said support shelf 3. In addition, the desk 1 comprises two feet 6 arranged so as to allow the desk 1 to accommodate an indoor sports device between the two feet 6. The two feet 6 each comprise two vertical arms 7 and two horizontal arms 8. The console 1 may include a storage box 11. This storage box 11 may include cable passages 13 to, for example, allow the recharging of electronic devices (for example mobile phones, audio headsets , etc.). The console 1 may include means making it possible to adjust the height of said console 1, such as jacks 14.

With reference to Figure 6, the storage box 11 may include a sliding bottom 12.

Claims

1. Console (1) for an indoor sports device comprising cooling means (2) for a user of said indoor sports device and a support tablet (3), characterized in that the support tablet (3) comprises a passage for flow of air (4), for example in the shape of a C or L, arranged on the path of an air flow coming from said cooling means (2).

2. Console (1) according to claim 1, characterized in that the cooling means (2) is a fan (9).

3. Console (1) according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that said support shelf (3) comprises at least one reception means (5) for a liquid container such as a glass, a cup, a bottle or a can.

4. Desk (1) according to any one of claims 1 to 3 characterized in that the indoor sports device is an exercise bike.

5. Desk (1) according to any one of claims 1 to 4, characterized in that it comprises at least two feet (6), for example fixed, where appropriate, to the support shelf (3), which feet (6) being arranged so as to allow the placement of said indoor sports device between said at least two feet (6).

6. Desk (1) according to claim 5, characterized in that said at least two feet (6) comprise two vertical arms (7) and two horizontal arms (8) connected together by their ends.

7. Console (1) according to any one of claims 1 to 6 characterized in that it comprises at least one storage box (11), preferably said one storage box (11) is placed, where appropriate, between at least two feet (6) as defined in claim 4 or 5.

8. Indoor sports device comprising a desk (1) according to any one of claims 1 to 7.

9. Kit comprising a desk (1) according to any one of claims 1 to 7 and an indoor sports device configured to be used with said desk (1).
