Description

A FOOD SLICER
TECHNICAL FIELD
The invention relates to a facilitated food slicing assembly.
BACKGROUND
Slicers for slicing fruits and vegetables become indispensable for both homes and industrial kitchens. Currently, many different slicer structures can provide different forms of chopping and slicing. One of the most commonly used varieties among these is mandolin slicers.
A mandolin slicer is a kitchen tool with a flat surface equipped with a sharp blade that allows vegetables and fruits to be sliced quickly, precisely, and safely. The slicing process is achieved by moving the fruit/vegetable to be sliced on the surface where the blade is positioned. Slicers known in the present art require some manual pressure on the fruitvegetable to enable slicing. As a result, the slicer must be used with both hands. This causes the user to make an extra effort.
As a result, all the above-mentioned problems have made it imperative to innovate in the relevant technical field.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a slicing assembly for eliminating the above-mentioned disadvantages and bringing new advantages to the relevant technical field.
An object of the invention is to provide a slicing assembly that is facilitated to be used.
Another object of the invention is to provide a slicing assembly suitable for single-handed use.
The present invention is a slicing assembly for use in food slicing, comprising at least one blade that enables the food to be cut and whose height can be adjusted according to a tray by at least one spring and at least one adjustment piece that includes at least one adjustment button, at least one fixed body to which said blade is connected and at least one mobile body that has the freedom of sliding movement in the direction of at least one slider base in relation to said fixed body, at least one mobile body, at least one chamber that is connected to said mobile body and that allows the food to be sliced in it to be placed. Accordingly, its novelty comprises at least one press element having at least one head part that can apply pressure towards the slider base to the foods positioned in the said chamber with its own weight. Thus, it is ensured that the foods to be sliced can be sliced in the slicing assembly without being pressured by the user. A slicing assembly is thus obtained in which slicing can be achieved only by pushing and pulling the mobile body. A slicing assembly suitable for single-handed use is thus obtained.
A possible embodiment of the invention is characterized in that said head part is connected to at least one grip part. Thus, it is ensured that the user can easily change the position of the press element.
Another possible embodiment of the invention is characterized in that said grip part is connected to at least one abutment. Thus, the complete separation of the press element from the mobile body is prevented. Thus, it is ensured that the grip part is supported in the cutting of large-sized foods.
Another possible embodiment of the invention is characterized in that said abutment has at least partial freedom of rotation around at least one connection piece. Thus, it is ensured that the press element can be removed from the chamber opening so that food can be easily added to the chamber.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE FIGURES
Figure 1 shows a representative perspective view of the slicing assembly of the invention.
Figure 2 shows a representative perspective view of the slicing assembly of the invention.
Figure 3 shows a perspective view of the slicing assembly of the invention together with an exploded perspective view of the adjustment piece.
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION In this detailed description, the subject matter of the invention is explained only by means of examples that will not have any limiting effect for a better understanding of the subject matter.
Figure 1 shows a representative perspective view of the slicing assembly (10) of the invention. Accordingly, the slicing assembly (10) is intended for use in slicing food or foods such as fruits and vegetables. The slicing assembly (10) can be used in industrial kitchens.
The slicing assembly (10) includes at least one fixed body (20). Said fixed body (20) is the part where the slicing assembly (10) is connected to at least one tray (60). The tray (60) can be a stable and flat surface such as a table, bench, etc. The fixed body (20) comprises at least one first leg (21) and at least one second leg (22). The said first leg (21) and said second leg (22) serve as support for the skeleton of the slicing assembly (10).
The fixed body (20) comprises at least one slider base (23). The slider base (23) extends between the first leg (21) and the second leg (22). The slider base (23) extends to make at least one angle with respect to the tray (60). Said angle is provided by the fact that one of the first leg (21 ) and the second leg (22) is longer than the other. The second leg (22) is longer than the first leg (21 ) in a possible embodiment of the invention. The fixed body (20) comprises at least one skid (25). The skid (25) is positioned on both sides of the slider base (23) with respect to the extending direction. The skid (25) is essentially an extension in a form at least close to the C form located on both sides of the slider base (23).
The fixed body (20) comprises at least one holder plate (26). The holder plate (26) may be connected to one of the first leg (21) and the second leg (22). The holder plate (26) extends towards the side wall of the tray (60) and rests against the tray (60). The holder plate (26) thus at least partially prevents the slicing assembly (10) from moving on the tray (60) during the slicing process.
The slicing assembly (10) includes at least one mobile body (40). The mobile body (40) is movable in the extension direction of the slider base (23). The mobile body (40) comprises at least one bracket (41 ). The bracket (41) has at least a close shape to the z shape. The bracket (41) is connected with the skid (25). The bracket (41 ) can make sliding movements on the skid (25).
The mobile body (40) comprises at least one chamber (42). The chamber (42) has a hollow shape such that it can take in food. Accordingly, the food to be sliced is placed in the chamber (42). The chamber (42) has a hollow cylinder form in a possible embodiment of the invention. The chamber (42) is connected to the bracket (41). There is a cavity on the bracket (41) close to or equal to the width of the inner cavity of the chamber (42). Thus, the food placed in the chamber (42) contacts the slider base (23).
Figure 2 shows another representative perspective view of the slicing assembly (10) of the invention. Accordingly, the slicing assembly (10) includes at least one press element (50). The press element (50) has at least one head part(51 ). The head part (51 ) has a cylindrical shape such that it can enter the chamber (42). The head part (51) is co-width with the inner cavity of the chamber (42) in a possible embodiment of the invention. The head part (51) presses the food in the chamber (42) against the slider base (23). Accordingly, the head part (51 ) has a weight that can keep the food in the chamber (42) adjacent to the slider base (23) without the need for additional force.
The press element (50) has at least one grip part (52). The grip part (52) is fixedly connected to the head part (51). The grip part (52) is the handle that allows the press element (50) to be controlled by the user. The mobile body (40) comprises at least one abutment (43). The abutment (43) is connected with the grip part (52) and with the chamber (42). The abutment (43) is connected with at least one connection piece (44) to the chamber (42). The abutment (43) has the form u and is connected to the chamber (42) from two points. The abutment (43) is capable of at least partial rotational movement about said connection piece (44). However, the press element (50) is movable with respect to the abutment (43), at least along a portion of the grip part (52). Thus, the head part (51) may protrude from the chamber (42).
The slicing assembly (10) has at least one blade (30). The blade (30) is in the form of a plate with sharp edges to enable the food to be sliced. The blade (30) is essentially connected to the upper vicinity of at least one cavity (24) located at the slider base (23). The aforementioned cavity (24) allows the food slices cut by the blade (30) to fall on the tray (60). The blade (30) is positioned higher than the slider base (23) with respect to the tray (60). Thus, the sliced parts of the food fall into the cavity (24) under the blade (30) and from there into the tray (60).
The slicing assembly (10) comprises at least one adjustment piece (31 ). The adjustment piece (31 ) allows the height of the blade (30) with respect to the slider base (23) to be adjusted. Figure 3 provides a perspective view of the slicing assembly (10) of the invention together with an exploded perspective view of the adjustment piece (31). The adjustment piece (31) has at least one sleeve (311). The sleeve (311) is in hollow cylinder form. The sleeve (311) is fixedly connected to the slider base (23) from the bottom. At least one spring (312) is positioned in the interior of the sleeve (311 ). The spring (312) is essentially located around at least one resting piece (313). There is at least one guide element (314) on the lower part of the resting piece (313) facing the tray (60). The guide element (314) has a thread form on at least one surface and is provided in a hollow structure. At least one adjustment button (315) is connected to the guide element (314) from the bottom of the tray (60). Said adjustment button (315) has an end in threaded form. The adjustment button (315) may be fixed to the inner cavity of the guide element (314) by the gear form. Thus, the end of the adjustment button (315) rests on the resting piece (313). Another end of the resting piece (313) rests against the blade (30).
The slicing assembly (10) comprises at least one second handle (27). The second handle (27) is positioned on the bracket (41 ). The second handle (27) is a handle for the user to move the mobile body (40). The slicing assembly (10) comprises at least one first handle (45). The first handle (45) is connected to at least one of the first leg (21) or the second leg (22). The first handle (45) is connected to the first leg (22) in a possible embodiment of the invention. The first handle (45) is a second handle for increasing ergonomics in the use of the slicing assembly (10).
In line with all this, the slicing assembly (10) of the invention works as follows: The height of the blade (30) is adjusted by the user according to the desired slice thickness. The adjustment button (315) pushes the resting piece (313) upwards away from the tray (60) based on the resting piece (313) when it is rotated clockwise. At this time, the spring (312) is somewhat compressed. The blade (30) to which the resting piece (313) is connected is thus raised away from the tray (60). At this time, the spring (312) becomes somewhat compressed. When the adjustment button (315) is rotated counterclockwise, the resting piece (313) and the blade (30) approach the tray (60). Here, the spring (312) also exerts a downward force on the resting piece (313).
After adjusting the height of the blade (30), the press element (50) is pulled up by the user so that the head part (51) protrudes out of the chamber (42). The press element (50) is then rotated with the abutment (43) with respect to the connection piece (44). Thus, the opening of the chamber (42) is opened so that the food can be easily placed in it. The food to be sliced is then placed in the chamber (42). The press element (50) is taken into the chamber (42) again. Thus, the weight of the head part (51 ) presses the food against the slider base (23). The user then drives the mobile body (40) along the skid (25) in both directions in turn, holding the second handle (27). Each time the mobile body (40) passes through the blade (30), the blade (30) cuts the food that contacts the slider base (23) through the chamber (42). The cut food slices fall on the tray
(60) from the cavity (24). Thus, the food slicing process is carried out.
The slicing assembly (10) of the invention allows the food to be pressed on the slider base (23) by itself with its sufficiently heavy head part (51). Thus, the user does not need to apply manual pressure to the food. In this way, the user can use the single-handed slicing assembly (10) by holding the second handle (27) only. As a result, a slicing assembly (10) with increased ergonomics is provided.
The protection scope of the invention is specified in the appended claims and cannot be strictly limited to those explained in this detailed description for illustrative purposes. It is evident that those skilled in the art may exhibit similar embodiments in light of the foregoing without departing from the main theme of the invention.
