Description

AN OVEN WITH A SENSOR PROBE
TECHNICAL AREA
The invention relates to an oven with a sensor probe connected to a thermostat that detects temperature in the cooking chamber.
BACKGROUND OF THE ART
In the literature, the control of an oven's set cooking temperature is done with a thermostat. The thermostat is an essential component for bringing the temperature of the cooking compartment where cooking takes place to the desired level. A sensor probe (temperature measuring bulb) connected to the end of the thermostat is present to measure the cooking compartment temperature. The sensor probe is mounted in the cooking compartment. Here, there is a need to position the sensor probe tightly in the cooking compartment without being crushed.
ES1048307 relates to an arrangement developed to fix the container bulb tube directly to the oven cavity. In the invention, the cap, characterized by being formed from a hollow cylindrical tube intended for protection purposes to regulate the oven temperature using the thermostat bulb, fixes the tube bulb directly onto an oven cavity.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
The object of the invention is to develop a leaf spring-shaped support sheet located on a mounting frame for tightly securing sensor probes (temperature measuring bulbs) of various diameters connected to a thermostat that senses temperature in a cooking chamber of an oven, without being damaged in the cooking chamber.
To achieve the above objective, the invention relates to an oven comprising a housing; a cooking compartment for cooking within a cavity of the housing; a knob located on a panel of the housing for adjusting the temperature of the cooking compartment; a thermostat having a control mechanism that allows the temperature to be maintained at the predefined temperature in connection with the knob; a sensor probe sensing the temperature, mounted in the cooking compartment with a mounting frame, and electrically connected to the thermostat. The oven further comprises a support sheet located on the mounting frame and flexibly securing the sensor probe with a predetermined diameter. With this, the sensor probe is secured in the cooking chamber without being crushed. Here, the sensor probe serves as a temperature measuring bulb. The sensor probe (temperature measuring bulb) measures the temperature of the area mounted within a built-in oven.
In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the support sheet is a leaf spring made of metallic material. As a result, the leaf-shaped support plate under the sensor probe provides support by flexing at certain ratios from the bottom, ensuring that the sensor probe remains stable without being crushed. In this case, the sensor probe can have different diameters, and for example, during the installation of a larger diameter sensor probe, by pressing the support plate from the top, the spring is bent, and with a certain amount of flexing, it ensures that the sensor probe remains motionless and fixed on the mounting frame.
In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the sensor probe is configured to be a cylindrical rod tapering towards a front end. In this way, by sensing temperature from one end of the sensor probe, the thermostat receives this detection and determines a temperature value.
In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the sensor probe (26) is adjusted to sense temperature within a range of 50°C to 300°C. In this way, the thermostat can operate between the temperatures of the cooking chamber between 50 °C and 300 °C.
A preferred embodiment of the invention comprises the mounting frame comprises a metallic material with thermal resistance up to 300°C. As a result, the mounting frame does not undergo deformation even at high temperature values in the cooking chamber.
A preferred embodiment of the invention one or more screw holes is provided on the mounting frame for mounting to the rear wall of the cooking compartment. In this way, the mounting frame that ensures the fixation of the thermostat's sensor probe can be mounted within the cooking chamber.
In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the mounting frame comprises one or more connected holding tab. As a result, with the support legs, a probe holder area is obtained where the thermostat's sensor probe can be mounted without being crushed.
In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the holding tab comprises a hole with a circular width allowing the sensor probe with a predetermined diameter to pass through, n this way, it is ensured that the sensor probe, which is passed through the aligned holes on the support legs, remains fixed without being crushed between the holes and the support plate.
In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the sensor probe comprises a connection wire electrically connected from a rear end to the thermostat. As a result, the electrical transmission of the temperature detection made by the sensor probe, which is a temperature sensor, can be carried out to the thermostat via the connection wire.
In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the mounting frame comprises a clip located at a rear end holding the connection wire. In this way, it is possible to fix the connecting wire between the tabs. Here, the tab fixes the connecting wire without crushing it.
In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the cooking compartment comprises an opening located on the rear wall allowing the connection wire to be connected to the thermostat. In this way, the connection wire can be passed through the opening and connected to the thermostat outside the cooking chamber.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
In this detailed description, the invention is described without any limitations and with references to examples for a better understanding of the subject matter.
In Figure 1 , an oven according to the subject matter invention is shown in the front perspective view. There is a housing (12) surrounding the oven (10). Inside a cavity of the housing (12), there is a cooking chamber (16) where the cooking process takes place. A sensor probe (26) is located inside the cooking chamber (16). The sensor probe (26) is fixed on a mounting frame (34) mounted in the cooking chamber (16). The sensor probe (34) is a temperature-measuring bulb element. For example, with the mounting of the sensor probe with predetermined diameters in built-in ovens (10), the temperature of the mounted region can be detected. The sensor probe (26) is capable of detecting temperatures between 50 °C and 300 °C in the cooking chamber (16). Additionally, the mounting frame (34) is made of a metallic material with thermal resistance up to 300 °C.
In Figure 2, an oven, according to the subject matter invention, is shown from a side perspective view. In Figure 3, a sensor probe related to the subject invention oven is shown in a side perspective view. In Figure 4, a sensor probe related to the subject invention oven is shown in top perspective view. On the front face of the housing (12) of the oven (10), there is a panel (14). On the panel (14), there is a knob (22) for adjusting the temperature degree of the cooking chamber (16). In this case, the knob (22) can be, for example, a rotatable knob (22) for temperature adjustment or a knob (22) structure that can be rotated to the desired temperature setting and pressed after being brought to determine the temperature setting. The knob (22) is electrically connected to a thermostat (24) as a control mechanism for maintaining the cooking chamber (16) at a constant temperature at the predefined temperature. The sensor probe (26), which performs the temperature detection required for the thermostat (24) to control the temperature, is electrically connected to the thermostat (24). By providing electrical transmission from the sensor probe (26) that detects the temperature inside the cooking chamber (16), the temperature value can be determined at the thermostat (24) connected outside the cooking chamber (16), for example, behind the knob (22). There are two holding tabs (38) connected to the mounting frame (34). On the holding tabs (38) on the mounting frame (34), there is a hole (40) with a size suitable for the sensor probe (26) with a predetermined diameter, for example, a sensor probe (26) with a diameter of 3 mm or 4 mm. The hole (40) has a circular width that the sensor probe (heat measuring bulb) (26) can pass through. After passing the sensor probe (26) through the hole (40), a support plate (42) provides support underneath and ensures stable positioning is connected to the mounting frame (34). The support plate (42) has a flex tolerance depending on the pressure exerted by the sensor probe (26) passing through the hole (40), which is related to the diameter of the sensor probe (26). The support plate (42) is a leaf spring made of a metallic material. In this case, the leaf spring-shaped support plate (42) allows the spring (42) to flex downwards by applying pressure with a sensor probe (26) with the diameter of the hole (40). In the opposite case, when a smaller diameter sensor probe (26) is passed through the hole (40) and is to be fixed, the spring (42) returns to its original state. Thus, the sensor probe (26) is securely fixed between the hole (40) and the spring (42) without being crushed. The sensor probe (26) in the subject oven has a cylindrical rod shape that tapers towards a front end (28). Temperature sensing in the sensor probe (26) is carried out over the entire probe body, including the front end (28), and the thermostat (24) receives this sensing, enabling the determination of the temperature value of the cooking chamber (16). Additionally, in the preferred oven, the sensor probe (26) mounted to the cooking chamber (16) via the mounting frame (34) has two screw holes (36) on the mounting frame (34). The mounting frame (34) can be mounted to a rear wall (18) of the cooking chamber (16) via the screw holes (36). At the rear end (30) of the sensor probe (26), there is a connection wire (32) connected to it. The connection wire (32) provides electrical transmission of the sensing performed in the sensor probe (26) to the thermostat (24). Here, the connection wire (32) has a predetermined diameter and high-temperature resistance. There is an opening (20) on the rear wall (18) of the cooking chamber (16) that allows the connection wire (32) to be connected to the thermostat (24). The opening (20) has a width that allows the connection wire to pass through. Furthermore, the opening (20) acts as a connection transition point between the sensor probe (26) and the thermostat (24). At the rear end (30) of the mounting frame (34), there is a clip (44). The connection wire (32) can be secured by passing it through the clip (44). Here, the clip (44) has a structure that holds the connection wire without crushing it.
The leaf spring-shaped support plate (34) developed in the subject oven and the holes (40) located on the holding tabs (38) provide the following advantages:
• It is possible to mount multiple sensor probes (bulbs) (26) with different diameters using a single mounting frame (34).
• The leaf spring (42) securely fixes the sensor probe (bulb) (26) without crushing it, but tightly.
