The design includes a trackball system for controlling the colour and brightness of a multi-coloured room light. The light switch is configured to be capable of direct two-way communication with a light by means of wire or radio communication. In addition, a button for resetting the light to a standard neutral lighting colour is provided behind the ball. Furthermore, the light switch is designed to be backlit when the key is in a "light off" position, wherein the colour and intensity of the backlighting can be controlled by rotating the ball. The technical result of the invention is an accessory which is capable of directly controlling a multi-coloured light without the aid of additional accessories and which also allows the disconnection of power to the control device when the accessory is in standby mode.
