Description

FIXING DEVICE FOR ACCURATE POSITIONING OF METAL BAR-SHAPED MATERIALS OF DIFFERENT WIDTH WITH A PRECISE ADJUSTMENT
Technical Field of the Invention
The present invention relates to measuring and keeping the length of metal bar-shaped materials while being cut in a cutting machine.
More specifically, the present invention relates to a fixing device that provides accurate positioning of metal bar-shaped materials of different widths with precise adjustment.
More specifically, the present invention relates, while the materials such as cuttable metal alloy materials, especially hardened linear rail, induction hardened shaft, chrome plated shaft, industrial pipe and metal bar are fed towards the cutting unit, it provides the measurement of the length of the rail piece to be cut between the centering pin and the movable support piece that automatically drives the rail piece, at the same time, it is equipped with a fixing mechanism that allows the horizontal position of the centering pin to be adjusted regarding to the rail width, providing the necessary centering on the rail and keeping the rail stable during cutting.
Prior Art
While entering the cutting machine for cutting materials such as cuttable metal alloy materials, especially hardened linear rail, induction hardened shaft, chrome-plated shaft, industrial pipe and metal bar, the distance is adjusted and fixed manually with the help of a mechanical table with its back and forth movement. While manual adjustment is made by the operator, it takes longer than automatic adjustment and is prone to errors.
In addition, since the width of the metal bar materials to be cut can vary, the holes used for fixing the bars are often non-functional. Since the said holes are located right in the middle of the bar, the horizontal back and forth position of the centering pin of the fixing mechanism needs to be adjusted accordingly.
In the patent document KR100883422B1 , a trailer length adjustment device is disclosed in order to control the trailer length in various ways, since the length at which the front extension bar is inserted into the slide hole of the fixing guide is controlled. Here, after the measurement of the material to be cut is done manually, the fixing process is completed. As a result, the absence of a system that is not open to errors, where the measurement and fixation process is done by means of sensors, and that will optimize the time to be spent for the length measurement and fixation processes, necessitated the emergence of the present solution, which is the subject of the invention.

Detailed Description of the Invention The present invention relates to a fixing device (11 ) providing the measurement of the length of the piece to be cut between the centering pin (4) and the movable support piece (8) that automatically drives the rail (9) while the metal bar-shaped materials of different widths are fed towards the cutting unit, at the same time is equipped with that allows the horizontal position of the centering pin (4) to be adjusted regarding to the width of the rail (9), thus providing the necessary centering on the rail (9) and keeping the rail (9) fixed during cutting.
The fixing device (1 1 ); allow the position of the said centering pin (4) in the x-axis to be adjusted regarding to the width of the rail (9) pieces of different widths for the metal bar-shaped rail (9) structures, which have holes (10) on them at certain intervals, can be cut precisely by adjusting their length and thus ensuring the centering of the centering pin (4) on the rail (9) and keeping the rail (9) fixed during cutting; it comprises the following components
- a linear group (L) which has the centering pin (4) on it and movable forward on the x-axis,
- a position detection sensor (6) that, by checking the rail (9) width information from a system, transmits information to the system for fixing the linear group (L) or enables at least one warning unit to warn the operator when the linear group (L) brings the centering pin (4) into line with the center position of the rail (9).
