Description
EASY TO APPLY HIGH-PERMANENCE SKIN CARE PRODUCT WITH THE PROPERTY OF RENEWING THE SKIN AND PROVIDING CARE TO THE SKIN
Subject of the Invention
The invention relates to a skin care product, which increases the skin renewal rate, moisturizes the skin, provides care to the skin, is easy to apply and has high permanence.
State of the Art
The skin is the layer that assists with the protection of the body from the external factors. A thin fat layer assisting with the protection of the skin from the external factors is present on the skin. Ammonia removes the protective action of said fat layer and causes the irritation of the skin. The diaper rash, which has the medical name ammonia dermatitis, is the condition in which the skin especially in the buttocks, outside the genitals and around the groin becomes irritated because of ammonia. Under the normal conditions, urea, a derivative of ammonia, is present in the urine. The urea has no irritating effect for the skin. However, in case a baby's diaper is not changed frequently and the urine remains in contact with the skin for a long time, some bacteria convert the urea into ammonia having a high pH value (>pH 11). Ammonia has an irritant effect on the skin. A type of fungus known as Candida albicans is responsible for the conversion of urea into ammonia. This fungus species uses the urine and feces as food. The moist and warm regions also provide the ideal environment for the growth of this fungus.
The diaper rash disease, with characteristics effects such as a red and wet appearance, tingling and burning in the skin in the groin, around the genitals and in the hip area, is usually observed in the babies at the points where the diaper contacts the skin. When the skin remains wet for a long time, the epidermis begins to lose its integrity. When the wet skin rubs against the diaper, the skin is damaged and begins to get irritated. The irritations, which at first emerge in the form of red zones with slight swelling, turn to water-filled blisters and small bumps in the course of time and manifest in the form of painful burning.
The diaper rashes against which no measure is taken become infected and the skin eruptions gain a bright red color and enlarge. The skin disorder, which is generally encountered in the 9-12 month-old babies, forms red skin beginning from around the anus and extending to the groin folds, the scrotum and below the penis in the boys and to above the larger vaginal lips in the girls. The fits of uneasiness and crying are observed in the baby sensing the burning, itching and stinging in the zones where the blisters have formed.
In order to provide rapid healing, attention must be paid to the hygiene of the rash area, it must be ensured that the rash area remains dry and the rash area must be protected from the urine and feces as much as possible. According to the state of the art, the lotions, creams or ointments containing the active ingredients appropriate for the irritated area are used. As a further alternative, the lotions, creams or ointments are preferred in order to prevent the problem before the rash develops. In both cases, said products are highly viscous and are applied on the skin in the form of a thick layer. In this way, the skin region that is irritated or is susceptible to irritation is prevented from contacting the urine, feces and/or irritant fabrics. However, difficulties emerge when it is desired to remove these care products from the skin and it is necessary to use the cleansing products that contain the agents such as alcohol, perfume and surfactant in order to be able to thoroughly cleanse the skin. Application of these agents on the irritated skin both aggravates the irritation and is likely to cause different skin problems. As a further alternative, the use of powders is also preferred for preventing the rash and enabling the skin to remain dry. Due to the risk of inhalation by the babies, the use of powders is inadvisable.
In order to provide a solution for the mentioned problems, the skin care product according to the invention has been developed. The skin care product according to the invention is in the form of a gel, has the properties of being easy to apply and accelerating the skin renewal with propolis, and has, owing to the bioadhesive agent it contains, high permanence despite being applied as a thin layer.
The need has arisen to carry out an innovation in the related art in order to solve the problems mentioned above. With the present invention, a skin care product, which
increases the skin renewal rate, moisturizes the skin, provides care to the skin, is easy to apply and has high permanence, is provided.
Object of the Invention
An object of the invention is to develop a skin care product, which features the ability to renew the skin and provide care to the skin, owing to propolis it contains.
Another object of the invention is to develop a skin care product, which has high permanence even when applied in the form of a thin layer on the skin.
Another object of the invention is to develop a skin care product, which stops the contact of the skin with the external factors leading to irritation and thus precludes the skin problems possible to emerge as a result of the disruption of epidermis structure.
Another object of the invention is to develop a skin care product, which may be easily rinsed and which leaves no residue on the skin.
The structural and characteristic features and all the advantages of the invention will be more clearly understood owing to the detailed description provided below. Accordingly, the evaluation should be made taking this detailed description into consideration.
