Definitions
- the present invention relates to floating solar power plants
- the present invention relates to floating platform which enables floating solar power plants to operate in flowing open water systems by obtaining a structure higher than the waterline.
- Solar power plants are used so as to convert the energy from the sun into electrical energy.
- Solar power plants can be used on land and sea, those used on the sea are called floating solar power plants.
- Floating solar power plants have advantages such as not occupying any land, benefiting more from solar energy on a flat ground, being less affected by environmental factors.
- East-west oriented panels are used in the floating solar power plants used in the state of the art. This situation causes time-dependent variable energy harvests during the insolation period. Furthermore, the floaters that enable the panels to be carried on the water are calculated per panel in floating solar power plants currently used, they are positioned too close to the waterline and are not used in floating open water basins. Low powers are obtained in floating solar power plants where floaters are calculated per panel.
- the application numbered TR2021/005715 encountered in the state of the art relates to a floating solar power plant.
- embodiments using fiber floaters and concrete floaters are disclosed.
- the aim here is to prevent the risk of fire by preventing the solar panels from swinging.
- a platform structure that will enable the floating solar power plant to operate higher than the waterline.
- developments are made in the platform structures of floating solar power plants, therefore new configurations are required in order to eliminate abovementioned disadvantages and bring solution to current systems.
- the present invention relates to floating platform for solar power plants which fulfills the abovementioned requirements, eliminates all disadvantages and brings some additional advantages.
- the main aim of the present invention is to ensure that the floating solar power plant operates higher than the waterline.
- An aim of the invention is to ensure that the floating solar power plant can be used in floating open water basins by operating higher than the waterline.
- Another aim of the invention is to change the position of the panels on the floating solar power plant, and to ensure a near-constant energy harvest during the daylight hours.

- the present invention is a floating platform on which the panels (1) are positioned and which enables floating solar power plants to operate in flowing open water systems by obtaining a structure higher than the waterline, characterized in that; it comprises the following;
- FIG 1 is the general view of the inventive floating platform.
- Panels (1) are positioned on the panel carrying beams (2) in the floating platform.
- the panel carrying beams (2) are also in the form of metal profiles that carry the electrical cables coming from the panels (1).
- the panels (1) that provide solar energy are mounted on four or six panel carrying beams (2), preferably six side by side and in two rows on top of each other, in a north-south orientation.
- This formed structure is connected to at least two or more panel carrying feet (3) and the panel (1 ) plane is obtained with the desired inclination.
- the resulting panel (1) plane is connected to at least two or more floaters (6), which will allow the entire structure to float by means of a roof float frame (4) and the main structure is created.
- Said floater (6) is made of pipes and ensures that the entire structure remains on the fluid with a lifting force. It is ensured that the floating solar power plant floats safely individually with this platform structure.
- walkway parts (5) are connected to one side of the platform in order for the personnel to access the panels (1) on the platform for maintenance-handling operations.
- the single platform structure formed can be combined with different platforms by means of the lugs of the roof floater frame (4) within the island formation and the island formation is obtained.
