Further, the flanges 990, 992 may permit the elastic membrane 924 to be locked in place in a pre-tensioned condition.

Abstract

Des modes de réalisation divulgués dans la présente invention concernent des chaussures comprenant un ou plusieurs coussinets en ondes qui fournissent un stockage temporaire de l'énergie d'impact des chaussures avec le sol et renvoient une partie de cette énergie pour améliorer l'économie de course d'un coureur. Les coussinets en ondes peuvent comprendre une paire de couches de fondation, chacune ayant une surface de mise en contact et un profil en coupe sinusoïdale. Les profils en coupe sinusoïdale sont décalés en phase, et la membrane élastique est orientée entre les surfaces de mise en contact. Les surfaces de mise en contact agissent conjointement en tant que paires appariées alternées d'actionneurs et de cavités.
