Abstract

A system for a portable workstation-and-recreational unit is disclosed. The system includes the portable workstation-and-recreational unit having multimedia device(s). The system also includes a control unit (30) which includes a processing subsystem which includes a reservation module (50) which receives a unit reservation request from a user and reserves the portable workstation-and-recreational unit for the user for a first predefined time period. The processing subsystem also includes an observation module (60) which observes parameter(s) associated with each of the multimedia device(s) being in accordance with predefined criteria, via at least one parameter observing unit, when the user is using the portable workstation-and-recreational unit upon reservation. The processing subsystem also includes a recommendation module (70) which generates recommendation(s) corresponding to an alternative portable workstation-and-recreational unit or fixing of the portable workstation-and-recreational unit being used by the user, upon detection of the parameter(s) being deviated from the predefined criteria.

A SYSTEM FOR A PORTABLE WORKSTATION-AND-RECREATIONAL UNIT AND A METHOD TO OPERATE THE SAME
EARLIEST PRIORITY DATE
This Application claims priority from a Complete patent application filed in India having Patent Application No. 202121055689, filed on December 01, 2021, and titled “A SYSTEM FOR A PORTABLE WORKSTATION-AND-RECREATIONAL UNIT AND A METHOD TO OPERATE THE SAME”
FIELD OF INVENTION
Embodiments of a present disclosure relate to a field related to doing office work, desktop publishing (DTP) work, printing and performing recreational activities such as watching a video, making internet calls, gaming virtual reality gaming, fun learning, and the like, and more particularly to a system for a portable workstation-and- recreational unit and a method to operate the same.
BACKGROUND
The world of work has been profoundly affected by the global virus pandemic. It has radically changed the way people live and work. People are restricted from visiting public places such as parks, theatres, camping, fishing, and the like, without wearing masks or sanitization. People are also restricted from visiting offices and made to work from home. However, in the case of work-life, when people have to work from home, working efficiency, performance, and the like of the people are getting affected as not everyone can have an isolated space specialized for doing office work at home. This affects the mental peace of the people working from home as they get pressurised for not reaching targets on time. Similarly, in the case of personal life, as people are restricted from doing recreational activities in public places which are not fun when done at home, people may suffer from mental and physical distress.
Hence, there is a need for an improved system for a portable workstation-and- recreational unit and a method to operate the same which addresses the aforementioned issues. BRIEF DESCRIPTION
In accordance with one embodiment of the disclosure, a system for a portable workstation- and-recreational unit is provided. The system includes the portable workstation- and-recreational unit of one or more predefined dimensions. The portable workstation- and-recreational unit includes one or more multimedia devices positioned inside of the corresponding portable workstation-and-recreational unit. The system also includes a control unit operatively coupled to the portable workstation-and- recreational unit. The control unit includes a processing subsystem. The processing subsystem is configured to execute on a network to control bidirectional communications among a plurality of modules. The processing subsystem includes a reservation module. The reservation module is configured to receive a unit reservation request from a user upon registration. The unit reservation request includes at least one of a unique identifier associated with the portable workstation-and-recreational unit, a dropping location, and a corresponding first predefined transaction selected by the user. The reservation module is also configured to reserve the portable workstation-and-recreational unit for the user for a first predefined time period based on the first predefined transaction associated with the corresponding portable workstation-and-recreational unit. The processing subsystem also includes an observation module operatively coupled to the reservation module. The observation module is configured to observe one or more parameters associated with each of the one or more multimedia devices being in accordance with predefined criteria, via at least one parameter observing unit, when the user is using the portable workstation- and-recreational unit upon reservation. Further, the processing subsystem also includes a recommendation module operatively coupled to the observation module. The recommendation module is configured to generate one or more recommendations corresponding to an alternative portable workstation-and-recreational unit or fixing of the portable workstation-and-recreational unit being used by the user, upon detection of the one or more parameters being deviated from the predefined criteria.
In accordance with another embodiment, a method for operating a portable workstation-and-recreational unit is provided. The method includes receiving a unit reservation request from a user upon registration, wherein the unit reservation request comprises at least one of a unique identifier associated with the portable workstation- and-recreational unit, a dropping location, and a corresponding first predefined transaction selected by the user, wherein the portable workstation-and-recreational unit comprises one or more multimedia devices positioned inside of the corresponding portable workstation-and-recreational unit. The method also includes reserving the portable workstation-and-recreational unit for the user for a first predefined time period based on the first predefined transaction associated with the corresponding portable workstation-and-recreational unit. Further, the method also includes observing one or more parameters associated with each of the one or more multimedia devices being in accordance with predefined criteria, via at least one parameter observing unit, when the user is using the portable workstation-and-recreational unit upon reservation. Furthermore, the method also includes generating one or more recommendations corresponding to an alternative portable workstation-and- recreational unit or fixing of the portable workstation-and-recreational unit being used by the user, upon detection of the one or more parameters.
To further clarify the advantages and features of the present disclosure, a more particular description of the disclosure will follow by reference to specific embodiments thereof, which are illustrated in the appended figures. It is to be appreciated that these figures depict only typical embodiments of the disclosure and are therefore not to be considered limiting in scope. The disclosure will be described and explained with additional specificity and detail with the appended figures.

In the following specification and the claims, reference will be made to a number of terms, which shall be defined to have the following meanings. The singular forms “a”, “an”, and “the” include plural references unless the context clearly dictates otherwise.
Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to a system for a portable workstation- and-recreational unit. As used herein, the term “workstation” refers to a place where work of a particular nature is carried out using a computing device connected to a network. In one embodiment, the computing device may refer to a desktop computer, a laptop, a tablet, or the like. Similarly, as used herein, the term “recreational” is defined as relating to or denoting activity done for enjoyment when one is not working. In one embodiment, a recreational space may be referred to as open spaces chosen to carry out one or more recreational activities. Further, in one exemplary embodiment, the one or more recreational activities may include conventional gaming, virtual reality-based gaming, virtual study tours in a fun way, exploring science and learning in a fun way, watching videos, surfing, making video calls, and the like. Therefore, the portable workstation-and-recreational unit refers to a unit that could be used as either the workstation or the recreational space and can be easily carried or moved from one place to the other. Further, the system described hereafter in FIG. 1 is the system for the portable workstation-and-recreational unit.
FIG. 1 is a block diagram representation of a system (10) for a portable workstation- and-recreational unit (20) in accordance with an embodiment of the present disclosure. The system (10) includes the portable workstation-and-recreational unit (20) of one or more predefined dimensions. In one exemplary embodiment, the one or more predefined dimensions may include a width, a depth, a height, or the like. In one embodiment, the width may correspond to a range of about 4 feet to about 12 feet. Similarly, in one embodiment, the depth may correspond to a range of about 5 feet to about 12 feet. Also, in one embodiment, the height may correspond to a range of about 7 feet to about 8 feet. Further, in one embodiment, the portable workstation-and- recreational unit (20) may have a predefined shape such as, but not limited to, a cube, a cuboid, a polyhedron shape, a custom shape, or the like. Also, in one embodiment, the portable workstation-and-recreational unit (20) may include a flooring, a ceiling, at least three walls, at least one door, and the like mechanically coupled with each other for forming a closed structure.
Further, in one exemplary embodiment, the flooring and the ceiling may be composed of Aluminium material. In a specific embodiment, a top of the ceiling may be provided with one or more solar panels, wherein the one or more solar panels are adapted to supply power to one or more multimedia devices positioned inside of the portable workstation-and-recreational unit (20). Moreover, in one embodiment, the at least three walls may correspond to Aluminium encased on glass walls. Similarly, in one embodiment, the at least one door may correspond to an Aluminium door encased on glass. The portable workstation-and-recreational unit (20) includes one or more multimedia devices positioned inside of the corresponding portable multimedia devices unit (20). In one embodiment, the one or more multimedia devices may include a monitor, a computing device, a printer a speaker, gaming equipment, a headset, a virtual reality (VR)-based headset, a microphone, and the like. In one embodiment, the computing device may include a desktop computer, a laptop, or the like. Basically, the one or more multimedia devices may be positioned inside of the portable workstation-and-recreational unit (20) by maintaining a predefined spacing between each.
The system (10) also includes a control unit (30) operatively coupled to the portable workstation-and-recreational unit (20). In one embodiment, the control unit (30) may be a desktop computer, a laptop, a tablet, or the like. The control unit (30) includes a processing subsystem (40). In one exemplary embodiment, the processing subsystem (40) may be hosted on a server. In one embodiment, the server may include a cloud server. In another embodiment, the server may include a local server. The processing subsystem (40) is configured to execute on a network (not shown in FIG. 1) to control bidirectional communications among a plurality of modules. In one embodiment, the network may include a wired network such as a local area network (LAN). In another embodiment, the network may include a wireless network such as wireless fidelity (Wi-Fi), Bluetooth, Zigbee, near field communication (NFC), infra-red communication (RFID), or the like.
Basically, for people to be able to use the portable workstation-and-recreational unit (20), the people may have to reserve the portable workstation-and-recreational unit (20). Thus, the processing subsystem (40) includes a reservation module (50). The reservation module (50) is configured to receive a unit reservation request from a user upon registration. The unit reservation request includes at least one of a unique identifier associated with the portable workstation-and-recreational unit (20), a dropping location, and a corresponding first predefined transaction selected by the user. The reservation module (50) is also configured to reserve the portable workstation-and-recreational unit (20) for the user for a first predefined time period based on the first predefined transaction associated with the corresponding portable workstation-and-recreational unit (20).
In one exemplary embodiment, the unique identifier may correspond to a string of at least one of alphanumeric characters, numbers, alphabets, and the like. As used herein, the term “dropping location” refers to a location where the portable workstation-and- recreational unit (20) is supposed to be dropped for a certain period of time. Further, in one embodiment, the first predefined transaction may correspond to taking the portable workstation-and-recreational unit (20) on rent, on a lease, by purchasing, for a demo, or the like. In one embodiment, based on the first predefined transaction, the portable workstation-and-recreational unit (20) may be reserved for the first predefined time period. In one exemplary embodiment, the first predefined time period may be an hourly basis, a daily basis, a weekly basis, a monthly basis, or the like.
Prior to reserving the portable workstation-and-recreational unit (20), the user may have to be registered with the system (10). Thus, in one embodiment, the processing subsystem (40) may also include a registration module (as shown in FIG. 2) operatively coupled to the reservation module (50). The registration module may be configured to register the user with the system (10) upon receiving a plurality of user details via a user device. In one embodiment, the plurality of user details may include a username, contact details, personal address, professional details, or the like. The plurality of user details may be stored in a database (as shown in FIG. 2) of the system (10). In one embodiment, the database may include a local database or a cloud database. Further, in one embodiment, the user device may include a mobile phone, a tablet, a laptop, or the like.
Upon registration, and after reserving the portable workstation-and-recreational unit (20), the user may start to use the corresponding portable workstation-and-recreational unit (20). As the user may be using the corresponding portable workstation-and- recreational unit (20), the one or more multimedia devices may start to malfunction without the knowledge of the user. Therefore, in order to check any such malfunction, the processing subsystem (40) also includes an observation module (60) operatively coupled to the reservation module (50). The observation module (60) is configured to observe one or more parameters associated with each of the one or more multimedia devices being in accordance with predefined criteria, via at least one parameter observing unit, when the user is using the portable workstation-and-recreational unit (20) upon reservation. In one embodiment, the portable workstation-and-recreational unit (20) may also include one or more devices such as, but not limited to, one or more illuminating devices, one or more fans, one or more air purifiers, an Uninterrupted power supply (UPS) inverter, and the like. Further, in one embodiment, the observation module (60) may also be configured to observe the one or more parameters associated with each of the one or more devices being in accordance with the predefined criteria, along with that of the one or more multimedia devices.
Moreover, in one exemplary embodiment, the one or more parameters may include at least one of an amount of charge left in a battery, a working condition, an operation time, a temperature, a power status, a power usage, the UPS inverter status, solar unit status, and the like of the one or more multimedia devices and the one or more devices. Also, in one embodiment, the predefined criteria may correspond to a threshold charge that may have to be present in the battery, a threshold operation time, a threshold temperature, the battery functioning properly, the UPS inverter functioning properly, or the like for proper functioning of the one or more multimedia devices and the one or more devices. In one exemplary embodiment, the at least one parameter observing unit may include a battery charge measuring device, a timer, one or more Internet of Things (loT)-enabled sensors, or the like. As used herein, the term “Internet of Things” describes the network of physical objects or things that are embedded with sensors, software, and other technologies for the purpose of connecting and exchanging data with other devices and systems over the internet. Also, as used herein the term “loT- enabled sensors” refers to sensors used to detect and measure various physical phenomena such as heat and pressure as well as the five human senses: sight, hearing, touch, taste and smell, and many more sensors. In one exemplary embodiment, the one or more loT-enabled sensors may include a thermistor, a temperature and humidity sensor, a gyro sensor, or the like.
Basically, upon detecting the one or more parameters to be distinct from the predefined criteria while observing the corresponding one or more parameters, certain actions may have to be taken to prevent an occurrence of an unwanted event. Thus, the processing subsystem (40) also includes a recommendation module (70) operatively coupled to the observation module (60). The recommendation module (70) is configured to generate one or more recommendations corresponding to an alternative nearest reachable portable workstation- and-recreational unit or fixing of the portable workstation- and-recreational unit (20) being used by the user, upon detection of the one or more parameters being deviated from the predefined criteria. In one exemplary embodiment, the one or more recommendations corresponding to the alternative portable workstation-and-recreational unit may include checking for the alternative portable workstation-and-recreational unit nearby to the corresponding portable workstation-and-recreational unit (20), which is available for the user to use.
Basically, to check for the nearby alternative portable workstation-and-recreational unit, the user may have to be able to track a location of the alternative portable workstation-and-recreational unit or the portable workstation-and-recreational unit (20). Thus, in one embodiment, the processing subsystem (40) may also include a tracking module (as shown in FIG. 2) operatively coupled to the reservation module (50). The tracking module may be configured to track a real-time location of the portable workstation-and-recreational unit (20) and the alternative portable workstation-and-recreational unit via a predefined tracking technique continuously, upon receiving the unit reservation request and the one or more recommendations respectively. In one embodiment, the predefined tracking technique may correspond to a Global Positioning System (GPS)-based technique, an Internet Protocol (Debased technique, or the like. Subsequently, in one exemplary embodiment, the one or more recommendations corresponding to the fixing of the portable workstation-and- recreational unit (20) being used by the user may include checking for availability of a technician for repairing any problem associated with the corresponding portable workstation- and-recreational unit (20) being used by the user, checking for availability of an extra battery, or the like.
Furthermore, in one embodiment, the unwanted event may correspond to at least one of a system failure, a UPS fault, a battery fault, a device malfunction, a technical issue in the one or more multimedia devices, the one or more devices, a misuse of the one or more multimedia devices and the one or more devices of the corresponding portable workstation- and-recreational unit (20) itself, and the like. In one exemplary embodiment, the portable workstation-and-recreational unit (20) may further include the one or more devices such as but not limited to, an edible ingredient dispenser unit, one or more user assistance devices, an air ventilation unit, an air conditioning unit, and the like. In one embodiment, the edible ingredient dispenser unit may correspond to a unit adapted to dispense one or more edible items for the user to consume as and when the user may feel hungry. In one exemplary embodiment, the one or more edible items may include tea, coffee, cold drinks, juices, or the like. Further, in an embodiment, the one or more user assistance devices may include a xerox machine, a printer, or the like.
Basically, prior to letting the user use the corresponding portable workstation-and- recreational unit (20), an identity of the user may have to be verified so that a misuse of the corresponding portable workstation-and-recreational unit (20) is avoided upon reservation by the user. Therefore, in one embodiment, the processing subsystem (40) may also include a verification module (as shown in FIG. 2) operatively coupled to the reservation module (50). The verification module may be configured to verify the identity of the user using a verification procedure, prior to using the corresponding portable workstation-and-recreational unit (20) by the user, upon reservation. In one exemplary embodiment, the verification procedure may correspond to a one-time- password-based verification, access via login credentials, or the like via the user device. In an alternative embodiment, the system (10) may include a verification unit associated with the portable workstation-and-recreational unit (20), and operatively coupled to the control unit (30), wherein the verification unit may assist the user to access the portable workstation-and-recreational unit (20) upon verification by following the verification procedure. In such embodiment, the verification procedure may correspond to access via the login credentials, entering a passcode, a biometric procedure, or the like, via the verification unit. In one exemplary embodiment, the verification unit may include a keyboard, a fingerprint sensor, a display unit, a camera unit, or the like.
Additionally, in one embodiment, the processing subsystem (40) may also include a cleaning module (as shown in FIG. 2) operatively coupled to the reservation module (50). The cleaning module may be configured to initiate a cleaning operation inside of the corresponding portable workstation-and-recreational unit (20) via a cleaning unit upon reserving the portable workstation-and-recreational unit (20) for the user. The cleaning unit may be installed inside of the corresponding portable workstation-and- recreational unit (20). However, cleanliness in terms of littering may have to be taken care of by the user upon reservation. In one embodiment, the cleaning unit may be operatively coupled to the control unit (30). Also, as used herein, the term “cleaning unit” refers to a unit filled with cleaning solution and has parts that assist the unit to perform spraying of the cleaning solution into the surrounding atmosphere. In one exemplary embodiment, the cleaning solution may be a sanitizer solution.
Basically, when the user reserves the portable workstation-and-recreational unit (20), the user may have to make a complete and efficient use of the same. If the user is not doing that, then the corresponding portable workstation-and-recreational unit (20) may get wasted which could otherwise have been used by other people in need. Therefore, monitoring one or more activities performed by the user inside of the corresponding portable workstation-and-recreational unit (20) may be important. Therefore, in one embodiment, the processing subsystem (40) may also include an activity monitoring module (as shown in FIG. 2) operatively coupled to the reservation module (50). The activity monitoring module may be configured to monitor the one or more activities performed by the user inside of the portable workstation-and-recreational unit (20) being related to at least one of a working session or a recreational session, via at least one activity monitoring unit, when the portable workstation-and-recreational unit (20) is in use upon reservation. In one exemplary embodiment, the one or more activities related to the working session may correspond to doing office-related work by using the one or more multimedia devices rather than sitting ideally, sleeping, not using the one or more multimedia devices, or the like. Also, in one exemplary embodiment, the one or more activities related to the recreational session may correspond to installing a gaming console on the computing device, playing games on the computing device, watching videos on the computing device, or the like.
In addition, the processing subsystem (40) may also include a power administration module (as shown in FIG. 2) operatively coupled to the reservation module (50). The power administration module may be configured to control a supply of power from a power supply unit to the one or more multimedia devices, when the portable workstation- and-recreational unit (20) is in use upon reservation. In one embodiment, the power administration module may also control the supply of the power to the one or more devices and the computing device. In one embodiment, the power supply unit may correspond to a battery, a mains supply unit, or the like. Also, in one embodiment, the power supply unit may include the one or more solar panels positioned on a rooftop of the portable workstation-and-recreational unit (20). Further, the power supply unit may be adapted to connect to the one or more multimedia devices via one or more power supply outlets. Also, in one embodiment, the power supply unit may also be adapted to connect to the one or more devices via the one or more power supply outlets.
FIG. 2 is a block diagram representation of an exemplary embodiment of the system (10) for the portable workstation-and-recreational unit (20) FIG. 1 in accordance with an embodiment of the present disclosure. Suppose a person (80) working in a company is provided with work from home facility due to a current pandemic situation. However, since the person (80) who stays with a joint family is not able to focus on work at home (90), and hence working efficiency is getting affected. Therefore, the person (80) decides to take the system (10) for the portable workstation-and- recreational unit (20) on rent. The system (10) also includes the control unit (30) operatively coupled to the portable workstation-and-recreational unit (20). The control unit (30) includes the processing subsystem (40). For the person (80) to be able to take the portable workstation-and-recreational unit (20) on rent, the person (80) registers with the system (10) via the registration module (100) by providing a plurality of personal details via a mobile phone (110). The plurality of personal details is stored in the database (120) of the system (10). Upon registration, the person (80) searches for the portable workstation-and-recreational unit (20) nearby to a current location of the person (80). For the system (10) to be able to track a location of the portable workstation-and-recreational unit (20) nearby to the location of the person (80), the GPS unit is associated with the portable workstation-and-recreational unit (20). Also, the system (10) tracks the location of the portable workstation-and-recreational unit (20) via the tracking module (130).
Once the person (80) selects the portable workstation-and-recreational unit (20), the corresponding portable workstation-and-recreational unit (20) is reserved via the reservation module (50) on the name of the person (80), as the person (80) takes the portable workstation-and-recreational unit (20) on rent. Upon reservation, the portable workstation-and-recreational unit (20) is dropped at the location of the person (80) which is a lawn area in a front yard of the home (90) of the person (80). Later, the person (80) starts to use the corresponding portable workstation-and-recreational unit (20) upon verifying the identity of the user via the verification module (140). The one or more devices, the one or more multimedia devices (150) present inside of the corresponding portable workstation-and-recreational unit (20) work upon receiving a supply of power from the one or more solar panels (160), whose operation is controlled by the power administration module (170). However, once the supply is cut, then the one or more devices and the one or more multimedia devices (150) fail to operate. Hence, a proper operation of the one or more devices and the one or more multimedia devices (150) is observed by the observation module (60). Once any failure in the operation of any of the one or more devices and the one or more multimedia devices (150) is observed, the one or more recommendations for the alternative portable workstation-and-recreational unit are generated by the recommendation module (70). However, as the person (80) is using the corresponding portable workstation-and- recreational unit (20), the one or more activities performed by the person (80) when inside of the corresponding portable workstation-and-recreational unit (20) should be monitored to check if the person (80) is actually making complete use of the portable workstation-and-recreational unit (20) or wasting time. This is monitored via the activity monitoring module (180) because, if the person (80) is not making good use of the portable workstation-and-recreational unit (20), then it is waste of time and money of the person (80) and the use of the portable workstation-and-recreational unit (20) may get wasted. Once, the person (80) is done using the portable workstation- and-recreational unit (20), other people may get a chance to use it. Further, to avoid the spread of any kind of infections coming from earlier users’ usage, the portable workstation- and-recreational unit (20) is sanitized or cleaned before another person reserves the corresponding portable workstation-and-recreational unit (20), via the cleaning module (190).
FIG. 3 is a block diagram of a workstation-and-recreational unit management computer or a workstation-and-recreational unit management server (200) in accordance with an embodiment of the present disclosure. The workstation-and- recreational unit management server (200) includes processor(s) (210), and memory (220) operatively coupled to a bus (230). The processor(s) (210), as used herein, means any type of computational circuit, such as, but not limited to, a microprocessor, a microcontroller, a complex instruction set computing microprocessor, a reduced instruction set computing microprocessor, a very long instruction word microprocessor, an explicitly parallel instruction computing microprocessor, a digital signal processor, or any other type of processing circuit, or a combination thereof.
Computer memory elements may include any suitable memory device(s) for storing data and executable program, such as read only memory, random access memory, erasable programmable read only memory, electrically erasable programmable read only memory, hard drive, removable media drive for handling memory cards and the like. Embodiments of the present subject matter may be implemented in conjunction with program modules, including functions, procedures, data structures, and application programs, for performing tasks, or defining abstract data types or low-level hardware contexts. Executable program stored on any of the above-mentioned storage media may be executable by the processor(s) (210).
The memory (220) includes a plurality of subsystems stored in the form of executable program which instructs the processor(s) (210) to perform method steps illustrated in FIG. 4. The memory (220) includes a processing subsystem (40) of FIG 1. The processing subsystem (40) further has following modules: a reservation module (50), an observation module (60), and a recommendation module (70). The reservation module (50) is configured to receive a unit reservation request from a user upon registration, wherein the unit reservation request includes at least one of a unique identifier associated with the portable workstation- and-recreational unit (20), a dropping location, and a corresponding first predefined transaction selected by the user. The reservation module (50) is also configured to reserve the portable workstation- and-recreational unit (20) for the user for a first predefined time period based on the first predefined transaction associated with the corresponding portable workstation- and-recreational unit (20).
The observation module (60) is configured to observe one or more parameters associated with each of the one or more multimedia devices (150) being in accordance with predefined criteria, via at least one parameter observing unit, when the user is using the portable workstation-and-recreational unit (20) upon reservation.
The recommendation module (70) is configured to generate one or more recommendations corresponding to an alternative portable workstation-and- recreational unit or fixing of the portable workstation-and-recreational unit (20) being used by the user, upon detection of the one or more parameters being deviated from the predefined criteria.
The bus (230) as used herein refers to be internal memory channels or computer network that is used to connect computer components and transfer data between them. The bus (230) includes a serial bus or a parallel bus, wherein the serial bus transmits data in a bit-serial format and the parallel bus transmits data across multiple wires. The bus (230) as used herein, may include but not limited to, a system bus, an internal bus, an external bus, an expansion bus, a frontside bus, a backside bus, and the like.
FIG. 4 is a flow chart representing steps involved in a method (240) for operating a portable workstation-and-recreational unit in accordance with an embodiment of the present disclosure. The method (240) includes receiving a unit reservation request from a user upon registration, wherein the unit reservation request includes at least one of a unique identifier associated with the portable workstation-and-recreational unit, a dropping location, and a corresponding first predefined transaction selected by the user, wherein the portable workstation-and-recreational unit comprises one or more multimedia devices positioned inside of the corresponding portable workstation- and-recreational unit in step 250. In one embodiment, receiving the unit reservation request may include receiving the unit reservation request via a reservation module (50).
The method (240) also includes reserving the portable workstation-and-recreational unit for the user for a first predefined time period based on the first predefined transaction associated with the corresponding portable workstation-and-recreational unit in step 260. In one embodiment, reserving the portable workstation-and- recreational unit may include reserving the portable workstation-and-recreational unit via the reservation module (50).
Furthermore, the method (240) includes observing one or more parameters associated with each of the one or more multimedia devices being in accordance with predefined criteria, via at least one parameter observing unit, when the user is using the portable workstation-and-recreational unit upon reservation in step 270. In one embodiment, observing the one or more parameters may include observing the one or more parameters via an observation module (60).
Furthermore, the method (240) also includes generating one or more recommendations corresponding to an alternative portable workstation-and-recreational unit or fixing of the portable workstation-and-recreational unit being used by the user, upon detection of the one or more parameters being deviated from the predefined criteria in step 280. In one embodiment, generating the one or more recommendations may include generating the one or more recommendations via a recommendation module (70).
Various embodiments of the present disclosure enable people to exploit open spaces such as home parking space, hotel open space, a workplace open space, or the like to have a workstation or perform the one or more recreational activities with isolation from the polluted environment by getting the portable workstation-and-recreational unit installed. Also, the system enables all kinds of businesses or public places like open areas in company premises, hotels, Malls, shopping complexes, and the like, or individuals who have extra/open space available which can be utilized to make additional profit by getting one or more portable workstation-and-recreational units installed by making a rent, lease, profit sharing long or short term contracts, or the like for the one or more portable workstation-and-recreational units. This is because by making such one or more portable workstation-and-recreational units conveniently available to above said places people visiting the site of such businesses may plan to book and use the corresponding one or more portable workstation-and-recreational units placed, thereby adding to revenue generation of such businesses. While specific language has been used to describe the disclosure, any limitations arising on account of the same are not intended. As would be apparent to a person skilled in the art, various working modifications may be made to the method in order to implement the inventive concept as taught herein.
The figures and the foregoing description give examples of embodiments. Those skilled in the art will appreciate that one or more of the described elements may well be combined into a single functional element. Alternatively, certain elements may be split into multiple functional elements. Elements from one embodiment may be added to another embodiment. For example, order of processes described herein may be changed and are not limited to the manner described herein. Moreover, the actions of any flow diagram need not be implemented in the order shown; nor do all of the acts need to be necessarily performed. Also, those acts that are not dependent on other acts may be performed in parallel with the other acts. The scope of embodiments is by no means limited by these specific examples.

Claims

LAIM:
1. A system (10) for a portable workstation-and-recreational unit (20) comprising: the portable workstation-and-recreational unit (20) of one or more predefined dimensions, wherein the portable workstation-and-recreational unit (20) comprises one or more multimedia devices (150) positioned inside of the corresponding portable workstation-and-recreational unit (20); and a control unit (30) operatively coupled to the portable workstation-and- recreational unit (20), wherein the control unit (30) comprises a processing subsystem (40) configured to execute on a network to control bidirectional communications among a plurality of modules comprising: a reservation module (50) configured to: receive a unit reservation request from a user upon registration, wherein the unit reservation request comprises at least one of a unique identifier associated with the portable workstation-and-recreational unit (20), a dropping location, and a corresponding first predefined transaction selected by the user; and reserve the portable workstation-and-recreational unit (20) for the user for a first predefined time period based on the first predefined transaction associated with the corresponding portable workstation- and-recreational unit (20); an observation module (60) operatively coupled to the reservation module (50), wherein the observation module (60) is configured to observe one or more parameters associated with each of the one or more multimedia devices (150) being in accordance with predefined criteria, via at least one parameter observing unit, when the user is using the portable workstation- and-recreational unit (20) upon reservation; and a recommendation module (70) operatively coupled to the observation module (60), wherein the recommendation module (70) is configured to generate one or more recommendations corresponding to an alternative portable workstation-and-recreational unit or fixing of the portable workstation- and-recreational unit (20) being used by the user, upon detection of the one or more parameters being deviated from the predefined criteria.
2. The system (10) as claimed in claim 1, wherein the portable workstation- and-recreational unit (20) comprises an edible ingredient dispenser unit, one or more user assistance devices, an air ventilation unit, and an air conditioning unit.
3. The system (10) as claimed in claim 1, wherein the processing subsystem (40) comprises a tracking module (130) operatively coupled to the recommendation module (70), wherein the tracking module (130) is configured to track a real-time location of the portable workstation-and-recreational unit (20) and the alternative workstation-and-recreational unit via a predefined tracking technique continuously, upon receiving the unit reservation request and the one or more recommendations respectively.
4. The system (10) as claimed in claim 1, wherein the processing subsystem (40) comprises a verification module (140) operatively coupled to the reservation module (50), wherein the verification module (140) is configured to verify an identity of the user using a verification procedure, prior to using the corresponding portable workstation-and-recreational unit (20) by the user, upon reservation.

The system (10) as claimed in claim 1, wherein the processing subsystem (40) comprises a cleaning module (190) operatively coupled to the reservation module (50), wherein the cleaning module (190) is configured to initiate a cleaning operation inside of the corresponding portable workstation-and-recreational unit (20) via a cleaning unit upon reserving the portable workstation-and-recreational unit (20) for the user, wherein the cleaning unit is installed inside of the corresponding portable workstation-and-recreational unit (20).
6. The system (10) as claimed in claim 1, wherein the processing subsystem (40) comprises a power administration module (170) operatively coupled to the reservation module (50), wherein the power administration module (170) is configured to control a supply of power from a power supply unit to the one or more multimedia devices (150), when the portable workstation-and-recreational unit (20) is in use upon reservation.
7. The system (10) as claimed in claim 6, wherein the power supply unit comprises one or more solar panels positioned on a rooftop of the portable workstation-and-recreational unit (20).
8. The system (10) as claimed in claim 6, wherein the power supply unit is adapted to connect to the one or more multimedia devices (150) via one or more power supply outlets.
9. The system (10) as claimed in claim 1, wherein the processing subsystem (40) comprises an activity monitoring module (180) operatively coupled to the reservation module (50), wherein the activity monitoring module (180) is configured to monitor one or more activities performed by the user inside of the portable workstation-and-recreational unit (20) being related to at least one of a working session or a recreational session, via at least one activity monitoring unit, when the portable workstation-and-recreational unit (20) is in use upon reservation.
10. A method (240) for operating a portable workstation-and-recreational unit comprising: receiving, via a reservation module (50), a unit reservation request from a user upon registration, wherein the unit reservation request comprises at least one of a unique identifier associated with the portable workstation-and-recreational unit, a dropping location, and a corresponding first predefined transaction selected by the user, wherein the portable workstation-and-recreational unit comprises one or more multimedia devices positioned inside of the corresponding portable workstation-and-recreational unit; (250) reserving, via the reservation module (50), the portable workstation-and- recreational unit for the user for a first predefined time period based on the first predefined transaction associated with the corresponding portable workstation-and- recreational unit; (260) observing, via an observation module (60), one or more parameters associated with each of the one or more multimedia devices being in accordance with predefined criteria, via at least one parameter observing unit, when the user is using the portable workstation-and-recreational unit upon reservation; and (270) generating, via a recommendation module (70), one or more recommendations corresponding to an alternative workstation-and-recreational unit or fixing of the workstation-and-recreational unit being used by the user, upon detection of the one or more parameters being deviated from the predefined criteria (280).
