Description
AN ADJUSTMENT MECHANISM WITH RAIL FOR VEHICLE SEATS
Technical Field
The invention relates to an adjustment mechanism with rail for vehicle seats.
The invention particularly relates to an adjustment mechanism with rail that has been developed in the automotive sector so that the vehicle seats can be locked on the floor rails and adjusted on the rails and removed from the rails when requested with a single mechanism, and that can be moved in one direction and locked in the other direction.
Prior Art
Various slides and locking mechanisms are used in the automotive industry to adjust the vehicle seats and fix them at one point.
Locking mechanisms with rail used in present practices have a complex structure formed by the combination of a large number of parts. While the vehicle seats are being disassembled, the seat exhibits a rotational movement up to a certain angle, and due to this angle, the whole weight affects the vertical part remaining on the floor, causing damage to the inside of the feet. Apart from this, it causes ergonomic discomfort to the user since the person has to change the standing angle to different positions while disassembling the seat. During the assembly process, the seat needs to enter certain areas for the feet and the slider is used for short distances. The order of placement of the seat must be taken into account to prevent assembly mistakes and it may be necessary to use an extra manual to ensure this.
As a result of the research conducted on the subject, the application titled seat slide assembly for the vehicle, numbered TR2011/00232, was found. The slide assembly of the said application consists of a lower bottom part, a lower rail, an upper bottom part movably supported with respect to this lower rail that can be connected and detached from this lower rail, an upper rail and a locking part, a bumper bracket and a locking part, a locking mechanism in which the locking element enters through these holes when the locking element engages with the locking part. The said the application does not mention an adjustment mechanism with rail that has been developed in the automotive sector so that the vehicle seats can be locked on the floor rails and adjusted
on the rails and removed from the rails when requested with a single mechanism, and that can be moved in one direction and locked in the other direction.
Therefore, in the face of the existing problems mentioned above and the inadequacy of the existing solutions, it has become necessary to make an improvement in the relevant technical field.
Purpose of the Invention
The invention is inspired by current situations and intends to solve the drawbacks mentioned above.
The main purpose of the invention is to provide a rail mechanism developed in the automotive industry to lock vehicle seats to the floor rails with a single mechanism, to adjust them on the rails and to remove them from the rails when requested.
Another purpose of the invention is to provide that it can be mounted regardless of the direction difference according to the areas where it will be used, by means of its symmetrical structure.
Another purpose of the invention is to provide the rail mechanism to move in one axis and in one direction, while being locked in the other direction. Here, if the mechanism is rotated 180 degrees, the moving and locking direction can also be changed.
In order to achieve the purposes mentioned above the invention is an adjustment mechanism with rail that has been developed so that the vehicle seats can be locked on the floor rails and adjusted on the rails and removed from the rails when requested with a single mechanism, and that can be moved in one direction and locked in the other direction wherein the said system comprises an interlocking inner body and an outer body that keep the mechanism together, two locking arms in the inner body and an outer body, which have a structure with tabs and which place the inner and outer body on the rail by engaging these tabs into the rail, a holder, an adjuster located in the inner body and outer body, connected to the holder, which enables the movement of the tabs on the locking arms to be connected to the rails by pulling the holder upwards and pushing it downwards in the z direction.
The structural and characteristic features of the invention and all its advantages will be understood more clearly by means of the figures presented below and the detailed
description written by reference to these figures. For this reason, the evaluation should be made by considering these figures and the detailed description.

Detailed Description of the Invention
In this detailed explanation, the preferred alternatives to the adjustment system with rail, which is the subject of the invention, are explained only for a better understanding of the subject and without any limiting effect.
The invention is an adjustment mechanism with rail that has been developed so that the vehicle seats can be locked on the floor rails and adjusted on the rails and removed from the rails when requested with a single mechanism, and that can be moved in one direction and locked in the other direction. The invention is illustrated in Figure 1 in dismantled state and characterized by comprising;
• an interlocking inner body (1) and an outer body (2) that keep the mechanism together,
• two locking arms (3) in the inner body (1) and the outer body (2), which have a structure with tabs (3.1) and which place the inner and outer body (1 , 2) on the rail by engaging these tabs (3.1) into the rail,
• a holder (7),
• an adjuster (4) located in the inner body (1) and outer body (2), connected to the holder (7), which enables the movement of the tabs (3.1) on the locking arms (3) to be connected to the rails by pulling the holder (7) upwards and pushing it downwards in the z direction, and
• a trigger (10) that triggers the tabs (3.1) to open as soon as they engage the rails, and a trigger spring (11) that keeps the said trigger (10) constantly stretched.
In an alternative embodiment of the invention, there is an adjusting spring (5) between the holder (7) and the adjuster (4). By means of the spiral structure of the adjuster spring (5), which lengthens and shortens, the adjuster (4) does not move abruptly, and by moving slowly, prevents damages that may occur as a result of sudden movements
In another alternative embodiment of the invention, it comprises rotation shafts (6) that adjust the rotation axes by enabling the opening and closing of the tabs (3.1). The said rotation shafts (6) prevent movement in the horizontal direction. It also comprises wheels (8) to provide the back-and-forth movement of the entire mechanism. The bolts (9) connected on the wheel (9) provide the rotation of the wheel (9).
The operating principle of the invention is described below:
When the holder (7) and the adjuster spring (5) connected to the holder is pulled upwards in the z direction, the adjuster connected to the adjuster spring (5) pulls the locking arms (3) inward. The tabs (3.1) that will enable the locking arms (3) to be engaged to the rail enable the inner and outer body (1 , 2) to move freely on the rails with the upward movement of the adjuster (4). Figure 4 shows the position where the invention makes free sliding motion on the rails. . When the adjuster (4) is pulled up to its last step, the tabs (3.1) are pulled inwards again until the last level. As can be seen in Figure 5, when the mechanism is in this position, it is separated from the rails. When the adjuster (4) is not pulled, the tabs (3.1) are on the rails and the mechanism is locked on the rails. Figure 3 shows the fixed view of the mechanism on the rails.
In a preferred embodiment of the invention, when it is desired to connected dismounted seat on the rail again, it is placed directly on the rail, and in the meantime, the locking arms (3) move with the pressure and automatically allow the tabs (3.1) to engage the rail. When the seat is attached to the rail, the opening and closing of the tabs (3.1) is provided by a trigger (10). The mechanism includes the trigger spring (11) to keep the said trigger (10) continuously in tension.
The mechanism works in the direction of the up and down movement of the straight and U-shaped bars, and in this way, the seat moves back and forth, locked or separated from the body. When the bar is in the free position, the mechanism is locked, when it is raised 1 level up, it moves on the rail horizontally, and when it is lifted 2 levels up, it can be disassembled from the seat.
By means of the interlocking structure of the inner body (1) and the outer body (2), which form the basis of the rail adjustment mechanism, which is the subject of the invention, a structural fixation can be made, and a mechanical fixation can be made by means of the rotation shafts (6). By moving the tabs (3.1) of the adjuster (4), the
complex structure caused by the mechanical thrust provided by geared and electrical mechanisms in the present technique is prevented.
By means of the adjuster (4) and locking arms (3) comprised in the adjustment mechanism with rail, which is the subject of the invention, the operations performed with a large number of parts in the present technique are carried out by two elements with the invention, thus material saving is achieved by changing the dimensions of these elements, they can be used on rails with spans at different distances. In this way, apart from its use in seats mounted on rails, it can be used in all sectors and areas where rails and slides are available.
