Abstract

The present invention relates to a method of detecting or quantifying a secreted analyte from a cell in culture, wherein the method comprises: (a) modifying the surface of the cell to contain a capture moiety for binding to the secreted analyte; and (b) providing a detection moiety for detecting the secreted analyte that is specifically bound to the capture moiety, wherein the detection moiety is labelled with a polynucleotide.
