Abstract

Disclosed is a collapsible tub for bathing babies, which comprises: a tub (1) that includes a mesh (2) installed therein, covering the upper surface thereof; two horizontal handles (7) on the front part and at least two angled handles (8) on the rear part; at least four bars (9) that comprise a plurality of hooks (10) used to connect the horizontal handles (7) and the angled handles (8); a foot (12) on the bottom of each support (11); a cap (13) on the top of each support (11); a foldable element (14) on the upper part of each cap (13); and a cover (15) on the foldable element (14), wherein the tub comprises a mechanism for adjusting the position of the mesh therein.

TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION

The present invention is related to the technical field of support structures, mechanics, health care and more specifically with baby bathing articles, since it provides a collapsible tub for bathing babies.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

Baby hygiene is important and necessary as it helps the little one feel fresher, relaxes him, forms part of his daily routine and also plays an important role in his health. Each part of the body needs specific care and hygiene that must be taken into account, and even more so in the case of a newborn.

To carry out the task of caring for the baby's hygiene, the use of a bathtub or bathtub should be considered to maintain the safety of the baby. It is essential to choose a bathtub that facilitates this task and that contributes to making that moment, something pleasant and pleasant for both the baby and the person who cares for the baby's hygiene, in addition to maintaining the safety of the baby, the needs and space available at home must also be considered.

As with all baby items , safety is paramount . Make sure that the bathtub that the ij as meets all safety regulations and requirements and, especially, that it does not have parts in which any part of the baby could be trapped, such as hands, arms, legs, etc. Care should also be taken that even though it is non-slip and safe, the baby should never be left alone in the bathtub for any reason. Although he feels by himself and likes to play for a long time, even when he has very little water, the danger exists and must always be kept in mind.

Ergonomics and comfort are important. And not only for babies, most of the current baby bathtubs have a fairly ergonomic design, but not all bathtubs are equally comfortable for those who carry out the task, and it is an issue that must also be considered.

At present there is a wide variety of types of bathtubs for babies, there are the evolutionary ones, folding ones, that adapt to the bathtub, for the shower room, high, low, portable or travel, anti-colic, etc.

The previous document refers to combined furniture, in this case a baby chair that can be used as a bathtub, but does not show evidence of having hooks that allow the height of the bathtub to be adjusted, nor does it refer to the fact that the chair be collapsible for storage or use for travel. The previous document does not describe having a mesh integrated into the tub that allows choosing the depth to which the baby is submerged in said tub, nor does it show evidence of having a perforated cover on the upper part which allows a reduced passage of water towards the baby .

The Brazilian patent application document number BRPI 1000700 (A2) was also found, with a publication date of October 21, 2011, with the title "BABY CHAIR / BATHTUB", which describes a feeding table and bathtub for babies. The last cited document refers to a baby chair/bathtub which performs both functions as required, but does not describe having a support with hooks that allow the height of the tub to be adjusted when it is used as a bathtub. Neither does it make reference to having a mesh inside the tub to adjust the depth at which the baby is to be placed, nor does it make any reference to having a perforated cover that reduces the passage of water towards the baby.

OBJECT OF THE INVENTION

The objective of the present invention is to provide a foldable tub for bathing babies, which allows the height of the tub to be adjusted by means of some hooks.

Another objective of the present invention is to provide a collapsible tub for bathing babies that can be stored in a small place or used as a travel tub.

A further object of the present invention is to provide a collapsible tub for bathing babies with a mesh inside that allows adjusting the depth in which the baby will be placed by means of some reels with a crank.

Another of the objectives of the present invention is to provide a collapsible tub for bathing babies with a perforated cover at the top that reduces the flow of water that falls on the baby to provide greater comfort for the baby.
