Dans un exemple selon l'invention, des matrices de canaux de sous-porteuses sont obtenues par un processeur d'un dispositif de réception de multiplexage par répartition orthogonale de la fréquence (OFDM). Chacune des matrices de canaux est associée à un ensemble de matrices de précodage candidates et à un ensemble de matrices de canaux précodées candidates sur la base d'une décomposition en moyenne géométrique. Une fonction de coût est obtenue par le processeur sur la base d'au moins une des premières variations des ensembles de matrices de précodage candidates entre les sous-porteuses, ou des secondes variations des ensembles de matrices de canaux précodées candidates entre les sous-porteuses. Une matrice de précodage optimale de chacune des sous-porteuses est déterminée à partir de l'ensemble respectif de matrices de précodage candidates sur la base de la fonction de coût. Les antennes sont commandées par le processeur pour transmettre les matrices de précodage optimales des sous-porteuses à un dispositif de transmission.
