Abstract

Described is a machine for packaging groups (1) of absorbent articles in respective packaging bags (2) comprising: a station (9) for feeding the bags (2); a station (10) for forming the groups (1) of absorbent articles; a station (11) for packaging groups (1) of absorbent articles, coming from the station (10) for forming the groups (1) of absorbent articles, in a respective bag (2) fed by the station (9) for feeding the bags (2); a device (12) for opening each bag (2), interposed between the station (9) for feeding bags (2) and the packaging station (11) and means (13) for inserting the group (1) of absorbent articles in the respective bag (2); the device (12) for opening each bag (2) comprises first suction means (14) and second suction means (15) configured to obtain at least the opening of the mouth (8) of the bag (2) operating on the corresponding outer front (3) and rear (4) surfaces of the bag (2).
