Field of the Invention
Engineering relating to shoe
Background of the Invention
Shoes having replaceable heels have been disclosed before. However, for such shoes, there remains an issue in adjusting the form of shoe sole to be consistent with the changed height of the replaced heel. In the prior works, flexible soles were selectively used so that their physical forms can be changed. Nevertheless, this approach relies on the weight provided on the soles or, in other words, the weight of the person W'earing the shoes for changing the physical form of shoe sole. This causes inconsistencies due to the varied forces affecting shoe sole and also the instability when wearing the shoes. Such shoes are therefore primarily considered as secondary shoes and are used when necessary such as during a trip. Most of the persons who use such shoes may also not be sufficiently confident for using the shoes for formal events or have a concern when there is a need for a fast movement or a move in a inconvenient or unstable area. Therefore, there is a need to invent and develop a shoe having replaceable heels that is sufficiently stable and safe thereby comforting users when changing the heel height.

As shown in Figure 1 , as the first axis (301), the second axis (303) and the third axis (305) are arranged in order from the end of shoe sole toward to tip of the shoe respecti vely, these, after installed, divide an area of shoe sole into subareas. There is a lock between the second axis (203) and the third axis (205) which locks the third axis and holds the second subarea (203) and the third subarea (205) at the predefined level. In the possible embodiments, such lock can comprise a gear and the gear supporting means which supports the gear teeth thereby locking the position of the gear. Also, in the possible embodiment, the number of gear supporting means is not less than three. When moving gear to the different corresponding positions of the gear supporting means, this will also create at least three different patterns of the connected planes between the second subarea and the third subarea. Additionally, in a possible embodiment, the supporting means is configured in the form of an additional set of connected gear.
In the actual use, a user can select the desired heel height and the degree of rotation of each axis will correspond to the said selected height. For ease of use, written description can be provided on the lock in order to indicate the levels that can be selected. As an example, there can be four different levels of height namely one inch, two inches, three inches, and four inches.
In any case, the degrees of rotation of the second and third axes are varied according to the degree of rotation of the first axis and the relationship is shown in the following equation.

During the usage, the heights of the heels should be clearly specified and the said heights direct tire degree of rotation of the three axes according to the equation X = [Y(A)-1 ]/8 = Y (B)-2]/14 - [Y(C)~ 12J/4 and X in this regard is the heel height measured from the base to the heel top.
With regard to the replaceable heel ( 103), one of the possible embodiments includes the arrangement of shoe sole to include attaching means extruded underneath and the shoe heel may also include the corresponding attaching means in order to further secure the connection between the shoe heel and shoe sole. Such arrangements can be implemented in various manners. Among which, the additional cavity can be provided so that the connected attaching means can be additional twisted wdthin the said cavity to the predefined location thereby locking the components together and securing the connection. In the other implementations, additional extrusions and the corresponding cavity can be used. These include the use of a small circular extrusion on the heel and the corresponding cavity on the surface of the sole in order to further secure the connection.
Figure 2 shows the gear locking mechanism according to this invention. In this example, the locking system using gears installed to the shoe sole is demonstrated. The said system comprises multiple components. In this regard, the main components are the first gear (401) and the second gear (403) which are connected together. The rotation of the first gear (401) will drive the second gear (403). The first gear (40) is dri ven by the installation of the shoe heel to the shoe sole through the insertion and twisting of the heel to the defined location which is connected to the mechanism for rotating the first gear.
For the twist, certain degree for free rotation can be specified. When the heel is inserted to the shoe sole, the heel can be twisted until the end of the specified degree for free rotation. Thereafter, the twist will drive the first gear and cause the same to rotate. The degree of the said twist will correspond to the predefined degree of rotation of the gear and the shoe sole will comprise the stopper which stop the rotation of the first gear at the different positions for each heel height.
In the possible embodiment, the connecting means of the shoe heel (501) comprises the first locking extrusion (502) and the cavity of the shoe sole provided for the insertion of the heel comprises the main cavity (701) and the secondary cavity (702). The secondary cavity is used for limiting the movement of the first locking extrusion after the twist in which the distance limiting the twist corresponds to the degree of free rotation specified for each heel height.
Additionally, the first gear may comprise the second locking extrusion (503). The said second locking extrusion is installed on the outer rim of the first gear at the predefined location . The said second locking extrusion will stop the movement in the position relative to the wall (505).
Driving the first gear will also drive the second gear as explained above. For the possible embodiments, the second gear will be connected to the pressing gears. In the suggested manner, the two pressing gears will be connected on each opposi te side of the second gear. One of the pressing gear's will be connected to the third gear (411) which is installed on the second subarea.
